I neglected my kid, he fell out a window, send me money

More than $64,000 so far for a woman who let her kid fall out a window — if that's really what happened.

How are people so stupid?

I would think it'd be for attorney fees and criminal fines after social services presses charges?

by Anonymousreply 1April 17, 2024 6:02 PM

“gained his angel wings”

Don’t ya hate when that happens to “littles”?

by Anonymousreply 2April 17, 2024 6:05 PM

"More than $64,000 so far for a woman who let her kid fall out a window."

Um, the dad let his kid fall out of a window, too, OP.

by Anonymousreply 3April 17, 2024 6:19 PM

If he was present, that's true. If the father wasn't there, it's on her. If it was him there, her not there, it's on him.

by Anonymousreply 4April 17, 2024 6:27 PM

Don't look at me!

by Anonymousreply 5April 17, 2024 6:37 PM

It's pictures like those that make me want to have a baby. Doesn't get any cuter than that.

by Anonymousreply 6April 17, 2024 6:51 PM

He fell out a window? was he a Russian oligarch or journalist?

by Anonymousreply 7April 17, 2024 6:53 PM

You have such a way with words!

by Anonymousreply 8April 17, 2024 6:53 PM

Was this a Red Roof Inn?

by Anonymousreply 9April 17, 2024 6:59 PM

Angel wings would have come in handy during the fall.

by Anonymousreply 10April 17, 2024 7:23 PM

Joe’s Hotel. A great place to drop off your kids.

by Anonymousreply 11April 17, 2024 7:27 PM

He could've used 'em on the way down.

This hotel fits the address

Yes it was this hotel. Clubhouse Hotel & Suites Sioux Falls. It has a big indoor kiddy pool facility. I'm trying to figure out the window configuration. I would like the back story on how a kid "fell out a window".

An ottoman or chair in front of window?

What exactly is the go fund me $ to be used for? Burial? I am certain at least 2 dozen Attorneys are banging on the parents door right now asking to represent them in a lawsuit against the hotel property. The forthcoming lawsuit is almost guaranteed to bring in a big 7 figure $ settlement. Am I missing something?

One mustn't dwell on details so much.

by Anonymousreply 18April 17, 2024 7:44 PM

Don't look at me!

by Anonymousreply 19April 17, 2024 7:45 PM

R16 if they had a room like that, they have a case to sue. But parents should be more cautious. Two teachers, huh?!

by Anonymousreply 20April 17, 2024 7:46 PM

Buck would never have fallen out of a Hotel window.

by Anonymousreply 21April 17, 2024 7:46 PM

NOT to be confused with the Heinz family who, desperate to ensure continued success, once sacrificed a newborn baby in a vat of boiling ketchup.

by Anonymousreply 22April 17, 2024 7:47 PM

I need to find a way to have a family member have some tragic accident and get thousands for their death.

It’s really strange the world we live in.

Like that budding Olympic cyclist who had an accident. His parents have money and their GOFUNDME netted them around 150k. The description written was more or less to help the parents cope and ease their pain.

by Anonymousreply 23April 17, 2024 7:52 PM

I'm just getting over a six month long knee blowout. Nobody gave me a dime. Well except I did make my full salary sitting mostly on my ass at home doing nothing.

[post redacted because independent.co.uk thinks that links to their ridiculous rag are a bad thing. Somebody might want to tell them how the internet works. Or not. We don't really care. They do suck though. Our advice is that you should not click on the link and whatever you do, don't read their truly terrible articles.]

Donations because you child dies tragically?

Hmmmm...

by Anonymousreply 26April 17, 2024 8:05 PM

Madden? Jfc, if his dumb name didn't tell us something about the parents, this accident sure does.

by Anonymousreply 27April 17, 2024 8:09 PM

When are these broke ass people gonna get off my screen?

by Anonymousreply 28April 17, 2024 8:12 PM

Hotel rooms have windows that don't open.

by Anonymousreply 29April 17, 2024 8:13 PM

MURDER!

by Anonymousreply 30April 17, 2024 8:30 PM

Well Holiday Inn sliding glass doors open for sure.

by Anonymousreply 31April 17, 2024 9:01 PM

C'mon, kiddo- mama needs a new pair of shoes!

R17, you're assuming it wasn't the parents at fault.

by Anonymousreply 33April 17, 2024 10:54 PM

How does something like this happen? Did she look away for just a second to do some freebasing with Eric Clapton. Anyway, I'm writing Tears in Heaven II.

by Anonymousreply 34April 18, 2024 12:05 AM

He had beautiful baby fat but he couldn’t

Oh, I can’t…

by Anonymousreply 35April 18, 2024 12:37 AM

Even if the room had an ottoman in front of a window how is that the hotel's fault? The parents had to open the window (if, in fact it opened at all.) Isn't it the parents' responsibility to move the ottoman out of the way?

by Anonymousreply 36April 18, 2024 12:45 AM

R36 you don't get it I don't get it but cynical greedy people, and grief stricken people, try to pull this shit all the time. Grief striken people want "someone to pay for this!" as a coping mechanism.

by Anonymousreply 37April 18, 2024 12:54 AM

Where was gofundme when I had to raise a ransom?

by Anonymousreply 38April 18, 2024 12:55 AM

Didn't Eric Clapton already pull this scam?

by Anonymousreply 39April 18, 2024 1:09 AM

He can join cruise ship baby now.

by Anonymousreply 40April 18, 2024 1:10 AM

aka Idaho Abortion

by Anonymousreply 41April 18, 2024 1:24 AM

If ONLY, R22. Heinz is the slowest ketchup in the west! Had that trashy-named baby been a Heinz, he’d have been caught, no doubt, before hitting the cement.

by Anonymousreply 42April 18, 2024 1:31 AM

I’m sure the baby was drunk, yet again.
