Fellini Satyricon (1969) vs Medea (1969)

Which film do you prefer? They both came out in the same year, were both directed by iconic Italian filmmakers, were both based on classical texts, and both take place in the ancient world.

The problem here is that for every100 people who have seen Satyricon, 1 person has seen Medea.

I didn’t even know there was a film version of “Medea.” The only version I was aware of was the videotaped PBS production starring Zoe Caldwell and Dame Judith Anderson which was screened in my sophomore year English class.
