I’m sitting in the jury room in Lower Manhattan—that stupid video about the virtue of jury service is on a loop—waiting for my number to be called. I wonder if I’ll do Chinese for lunch, or just go to Subway for a meatball. It’s really warm today. Oh, the cell service sucks here.
