It's going to be unexpected, so not anyone very old or sick. Mathew Perry level shock.
I'm not psychic, but I feel like there's going to be a big celebrity death some time this summer
by Anonymous | reply 72 | April 19, 2024 7:11 PM |
I wouldn't say Matthew Perry's death was a shock.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 15, 2024 10:32 AM |
It was to everyone not in the know, which is 99% of the people.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 15, 2024 10:36 AM |
Celebrities die every year.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 15, 2024 10:39 AM |
It's Bruce Willis.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 15, 2024 10:43 AM |
Bruce Willis wouldn't be a shock given how he's deteriorated.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 15, 2024 11:19 AM |
The only big celebrity death I want to see is that orange-hued fuckface's.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 15, 2024 11:23 AM |
He's 77, overweight and treats his body like a garbage can. I wouldn't be shocked.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 15, 2024 11:26 AM |
Next, OP will predict that the sun will rise tomorrow.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 15, 2024 11:28 AM |
Vadge
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 15, 2024 11:30 AM |
True- you are NOT psychic
You ARE psychotic
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 15, 2024 11:32 AM |
Matthew Perry's death was a shock? Maybe a mild surprise, but everyone knew it was just a matter of time. He was a (formally hot) mess, like a more famous version of Tom Sizemore.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 15, 2024 11:52 AM |
If you're not a psychic, OP, then your feelings are meaningless and unreliable. Any REAL psychics on this thread?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 15, 2024 12:08 PM |
Beyonce, plane crash.
And then she'll finally get a (posthumous) Grammy for album of the year.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 15, 2024 12:52 PM |
It would have to be someone very famous, young, and in good health for it to be a big celebrity death.
- You don't have to be a psychic
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 15, 2024 12:55 PM |
R13 Don't get me all excited.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 15, 2024 1:55 PM |
Joe Biden probably. Or Cher.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 15, 2024 2:32 PM |
No need to be a psychic for that, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 15, 2024 2:41 PM |
After OP's sunrise prediction, my money's something about smoking.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 15, 2024 2:48 PM |
Would I qualify?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 17, 2024 12:54 AM |
[quote]I'm not psychic...
No shit, OP. Because no one is.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 17, 2024 7:13 AM |
One of the candidates for POTUS.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 17, 2024 8:16 AM |
There hasn’t been a Diana/JFK, Jr. level death this century.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 17, 2024 8:20 AM |
It's Da King!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 17, 2024 8:50 AM |
Hunter Biden, while snorting coke out of a stripper's crack. The nation mourns the tragedy.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 17, 2024 12:17 PM |
It’s Justin Bieber. My niece will be shattered.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 17, 2024 12:23 PM |
Kid Rock, while cleaning his gun.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 17, 2024 12:35 PM |
When Natalie Wood died in 1981 and Princess Grace died in 1982, both of their untimely deaths were front page stories for days on end.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 17, 2024 12:50 PM |
R20, I knew you were going to say that.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 17, 2024 12:53 PM |
Are you SURE you’re not a psychic?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 17, 2024 12:54 PM |
I have to say. There are a lot of famous people who are in their 80's and 90's now. OP you have to mean someone besides Jimmy Carter, right?
I hope it's not Catherine of Wales or her father-in-law. I really do. If anyone connected to the RF might kick it, it would be the cadaverous Kent. He's already peeing on himself.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 17, 2024 12:59 PM |
Pee Diddy will be suiceded.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 17, 2024 2:24 PM |
You’re all gonna miss Timmy when he’s gone.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 17, 2024 2:25 PM |
He IS the people's princess, r32.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 17, 2024 2:27 PM |
Fellow non-psychic here, but I think it will happen sooner than summer. It really is time for a big celebrity death.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 17, 2024 2:29 PM |
[quote]There hasn’t been a Diana/JFK, Jr. level death this century.
Michael Jackson was shocking, and not same level but Kobe Bryant was also unexpected.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 17, 2024 2:30 PM |
You’re a psycho
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 17, 2024 2:31 PM |
Oh, indeed, R33. But he’s 28, which removes the element of eeriness which is needed when going out with a truly epic splash.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 17, 2024 2:34 PM |
R35, Diana and JFK, Jr. were both in their thirties, thriving and healthy.
MJ’s death was as “unexpected” as Whitney’s.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 17, 2024 2:35 PM |
[quote][R35], Diana and JFK, Jr. were both in their thirties, thriving and healthy.
Oh, please, a Kennedy dying tragic death is not surprising.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 17, 2024 2:37 PM |
a tragic*
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 17, 2024 2:37 PM |
I’m going to chime in and say that while Matthew Perry’s death was a major news story, nobody was shocked. I remember they were joking about Perry’s addictions on Married… With Children a hundred years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 17, 2024 2:41 PM |
I think Whitney's death was a moderate shock. It wasn't surprising once it happened but I don't think at the time many thought she was past hope. To the extent I thought about it I thought at some point she's going to rehab and have a third act.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 17, 2024 2:42 PM |
Everyone is expecting it, but Britney's death will be huge news!
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 17, 2024 2:44 PM |
That's not shock that's commerce.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 17, 2024 2:45 PM |
Of course it made the news, r44.
You will find as many covers (if not more) about MJ.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 17, 2024 2:54 PM |
Oh please, r44, even Anna Nicole Smith got several covers when she died.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 17, 2024 2:58 PM |
R47 is either very young or very old. The entire nation came to a halt when JFK, Jr.’s plane was reported missing in July of 1999.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 17, 2024 3:06 PM |
I never said they didn't, 48, I just pointed out that I think Michael Jackson's death was shocking. Maybe not being in the US explains why JFK Jr's death didn't have the same impact over here. It was in the news of course, but nothing like in the US.
Anyway, enough derailing the thread.
Go on, guys. Sorry!
by Anonymous | reply 49 | April 17, 2024 3:14 PM |
Dare we hope the person looks like a greasy orange slug?
Has any done an image of him as Jabba the Hutt?
by Anonymous | reply 50 | April 17, 2024 3:43 PM |
it will be an OD.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | April 17, 2024 3:54 PM |
THink of all the celebrity aviators:John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford. They all fly their own planes.
Although an OD is more probable.

SUGAR PIE! *slurring*

[quote]The entire nation came to a halt when JFK, Jr.’s plane was reported missing in July of 1999.
That never happened. Yes, people were talking about it. The nation coming to a halt?...No.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | April 17, 2024 6:08 PM |
R55 I remember it well. I was sitting at the laundromat watching the TV there, and a news report came on saying his plane was missing. The reaction from everyone, including me, was "Oh, how awful." But that was about it. I don't recall the nation coming to a halt.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | April 17, 2024 6:21 PM |
My much despised aunt called my mother on Saturday morning to tell her, I answered the phone and she screamed at me to put television on because the Kennedy kid was dead! This was before the networks were reporting he was dead. She had made the decision ahead of time.

OD died last week.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | April 17, 2024 6:47 PM |
True story. My father was newly married to my mom and working as a journalist for the local paper. He was at a diner for lunch when he saw JFK getting shot on the tv there. He raced back to the paper and yelled to them to stop the presses as the evening edition was going to print. He beat the ticker tape machine.
That's my JFK story.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | April 17, 2024 7:14 PM |
JFK was shot on a TV at a diner? What was I watching?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | April 17, 2024 8:08 PM |

You got the GIFT!
by Anonymous | reply 67 | April 17, 2024 11:15 PM |
Deaths of MJ, Anna Nicole, Prince and the like are sensational and captivating because of how bizarre their celebrity lifestyles were. Sleep via Dr.-administered anaesthetic? Sipping liquid through a baby bottle? Copious pharmaceuticals on site? Emergency private plane landing the day before? What's not too love?

Don't worry. I'm fine. Unemployed and boyfriend-less, but I'm fine.
And starving.
