Calling DL doctors! I need your help.

I have an itchy patch on my inner arm. What should I do about it?

It itches 🥵

Honey you act as if all doctors are all-knowing about all conditions. They are not. You need to be calling out for a dermatologist specifically.

by Anonymousreply 1April 13, 2024 7:12 AM

Just smoke copious amounts of pot, silly!

by Anonymousreply 2April 13, 2024 7:27 AM

DL doctors are good enough for me, r1.

by Anonymousreply 3April 13, 2024 7:33 AM

If there are no open sores, try applying some calamine - the no-rub kind in the aerosol spray can. The generic brand at Target is under $6.

by Anonymousreply 4April 13, 2024 8:00 AM

1. Scratch it.

2. Apply Neosporin. Reapply. Reapply. If it doesn't improve, cut the arm off.

You're welcome, Dr. D. Lounge

Hydrocortisone

OP, the only answer is immediate amputation, probably.

by Anonymousreply 7April 13, 2024 9:53 AM

OP, can I have your stuff?

by Anonymousreply 8April 13, 2024 10:15 AM

Apply an anal compress.

by Anonymousreply 9April 13, 2024 10:51 AM

Photos help with a diagnosis. "It itches" covers too many skin ailments.

by Anonymousreply 10April 13, 2024 5:53 PM

I think something bit me. There's really nothing to see except for a few red spots under the skin. I put some calamine lotion on it. If that doesn't help, I'll try the amputation.

by Anonymousreply 11April 13, 2024 5:54 PM

R11, don’t take the risk, burn the infection with fire, then cut it out. And don’t be a hero: have a drink before you start.

R7 beat me to it.

That is DL, in a nutshell.

Those are chigrah bites.

If OP is Canadian then than can only be done via referral.

I'm Texan, so I'll have to throw a steak in the air and shoot it with my AR-15 and hope that a curious passerby-doctor comes to investigate and help me.

by Anonymousreply 17April 13, 2024 7:48 PM

I’m Scottish. I’d urge you to soak the infected area in whisky (a decent single malt) from the inside-out. If the problem persists, shout at it until it fucks off.

by Anonymousreply 18April 13, 2024 9:41 PM

I would ask Reddit - that's where I get all of my medical information.

by Anonymousreply 19April 13, 2024 10:29 PM

Try heat therapy with a blowtorch.

by Anonymousreply 20April 13, 2024 10:33 PM

Scabies from rough trade?

by Anonymousreply 21April 13, 2024 10:46 PM

Go see a derm - you could have scabies. Have you been traveling and staying in hotels?

by Anonymousreply 22April 13, 2024 10:52 PM

Sounds like a melanoma.

by Anonymousreply 23April 13, 2024 11:11 PM

Take Benadryl to stop the itching, otherwise it will spread. Put Neosporin on it.

by Anonymousreply 24April 13, 2024 11:16 PM

Itchy inner arms are a sign of penis cancer, OP. Snip that thing off asap!

by Anonymousreply 25April 13, 2024 11:18 PM

Have you tried anti-itch medication, like Cortizone 10?

Possible ringworm infection.

Use an anti-fungal, like Tinactin, and see if that helps.

by Anonymousreply 26April 14, 2024 5:11 AM

Late stage syphilis.

by Anonymousreply 27April 14, 2024 5:22 AM

Be sure to Google "skin infection," paying close attention to the images.

by Anonymousreply 28April 14, 2024 8:40 AM

Did you inject it with bleach like I said?

by Anonymousreply 29April 14, 2024 9:46 PM

When's the last time you had a bath, OP?

Try this new product from Secret.

Crabs

by Anonymousreply 32April 15, 2024 3:08 AM

Has anyone heard from OP recently? I’m concerned he may have a cat which is going hungry after his passing.

by Anonymousreply 33April 15, 2024 12:42 PM

How vulgar.
