There were many rumors that they fucked on set a few times (they played half brothers on the show) and that the network basically had to tell them to dial it down.

It's kind of nothing short of a miracle that Joan, who smoked I think it's fair to say like a chimney for something rivalling 70 years, still chugs along at 91.

Rumors got so strong that GH arranged for Soap Digest to do an article about Jacob and Colton/Stephen "friendship," talking about what great buddies they are and how much they liked hanging out together. However, the timing of the article was such that it really only served to confirm the rumors were true.
