I have had my fill of Velshi.

I have stated my boundries!

by Anonymousreply 2April 6, 2024 2:55 AM

How was he, R2? Satisfying?

by Anonymousreply 3April 6, 2024 2:57 AM

I was hungry for a ham sandwich as soon as he left.

by Anonymousreply 4April 6, 2024 2:59 AM

Alexi McCammond loves to bash the Democrats.

Plus her lip fillers look cheap.

by Anonymousreply 5April 6, 2024 12:04 PM

Alexi McCammond is annoying.

by Anonymousreply 6April 6, 2024 12:13 PM

Velshi is too, too much. He's over bearing and self-important, though he's smart and good on camera. I can only watch him for so long and then I have to change the channel.

by Anonymousreply 7April 6, 2024 12:25 PM

Alexi always blaming the Democrats, not the party that is actually taking rights away.

Why do the Democrats have to clean up the Republicans mess? Jonathan Martin too blaming Biden for not reaching out. Always siding with Republicans because they are the scoop, their drama helps get them famous for their stories.

by Anonymousreply 8April 6, 2024 1:50 PM

R7 Me, too. A few years ago I used to really enjoy his shows when he hosted. I learned a lot from the info he gave and the conversations he had with guests. Suddenly, he was everywhere in the past year and I've gotten Velshi fatigue. I watch for about 15 minutes then change the channel.

by Anonymousreply 9April 6, 2024 1:56 PM

Alexi Ex-Axios, is a cunt.

A pretty cunt but a cunt,

She joins the ranks of the Elise Jordans of MSNBC as cunting with the best of the anti-Democrats, anti-Bidens.

Where was Alicia Menendez this morning?

They need more Heidi Przybyla commentary.

by Anonymousreply 10April 6, 2024 3:57 PM

UGHHHHH!

Ali Velshi on The Week before his two-hour show, and on Katie's show from NYC this morning AFTER his show.

Plus he is pushing a book?

Too much Velshi, Rashida.

by Anonymousreply 11April 6, 2024 4:04 PM

He also covered for Lawrence last night.

by Anonymousreply 12April 6, 2024 4:12 PM

[quote]Velshi is too, too much.

I agree, he's everywhere.

by Anonymousreply 13April 6, 2024 5:25 PM

Where did Eli Stokols go? I want more Ken Dillanian. A lot more.

by Anonymousreply 14April 6, 2024 5:51 PM

R14 Me, too. I've been in love with Ken for a long time. And Morgan Chesty...I mean Chesky.

by Anonymousreply 15April 6, 2024 6:38 PM

Yamiche Alcindor at the anchor desk? Really?! She's liable to forget to breathe and then collapse on-air!

Rashida Jones is just pleading to be fired, isn't she.

by Anonymousreply 16April 6, 2024 7:12 PM

[quote] Yamiche Alcindor at the anchor desk? Really?!

She hosted "Washington Week" on PBS for 2 years. She's more qualified than some of the others to be an anchor.

by Anonymousreply 17April 6, 2024 7:15 PM

Is Yamiche Alcindor on the Ozempic diet yet ?

by Anonymousreply 18April 6, 2024 7:37 PM

Yes, R17, and not surprisingly her PBS contract was not renewed.

Yamiche has a voice and delivery made for silent films of yore. She speaks too fast, is thick-tongued and, as I stated above, is prone to panting for breath.

by Anonymousreply 19April 6, 2024 8:45 PM

I agree with r16. Yamiche Alcindor talks like a machine gun. Itโ€™s very annoying.

by Anonymousreply 20April 6, 2024 8:50 PM

Itโ€™s ridiculous that they took away Yasmin Vossoughianโ€™s show and now have Yamiche filling in on-air. If I was Yasmin, Iโ€™d leave this ghetto network.

Asshole Joe Scarborough accuses Israel of deliberate starvation of Gaza. Compares to Stalin.

MSNBC Morning Joe 4/5/24 6:17 am EDT

JOE SCARBOROUGH: It is increasingly looking like Benjamin Netanyahu had a plan to force famine on the Palestinian people, on the Gazan people, to amp up the pressure on Hamas. Of course, it seems to me that the hostages aren't even secondary in his mind because, of course, and people say, well, Hamas could release hostages. Yeah, they could! They're terrorists! They're terrorists! And they're not going to release the hostages unless the conditions are right. Which the conditions most likely are a cease fire and the allowing of the worst terrorists to escape out of Gaza with their lives. But, but this whole idea that if we starve the Gazan people, that's going to somehow help Israel in the long run, that's going to help the hostages? No! It's hurting the hostages, it's hurting Israel.

And of course you're, you're starving women and children in Gaza, and as Katty said yesterday, they're now having to grind up dog food and cat food and, and eat that, and, and drink salt water. I mean, it's savage conditions, and it's calculated.

And let me say, ๐’ƒ๐’š ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’๐’‹๐’‚๐’Ž๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ต๐’†๐’•๐’‚๐’๐’š๐’‚๐’‰๐’–, and somebody needs to ask me, why the hell the United States shouldn't intervene with a guy that has a 20% approval rating and knows that when the war is over, he could be going to jail.

Will he follow that logic to include co-conspirator Joe Biden like the demonstrators say

by Anonymousreply 22April 7, 2024 6:13 AM

I really like Symone Sanders and Michael Steele on the weekend. Alicia is ok but not strong enough for those two power houses.

by Anonymousreply 23April 7, 2024 12:51 PM

R23 I agree. I've been saying that for a while now. I wish it were just Symone / Steele.

by Anonymousreply 24April 7, 2024 1:39 PM

That's surprising, because Alicia was really great filling in for Nicolle Wallace. I guess the format makes a difference.

by Anonymousreply 25April 7, 2024 1:44 PM

Plus how do Congress People take Alicia Menendez seriously when her dad, their colleague, is under indictment?

by Anonymousreply 26April 7, 2024 1:58 PM

Alicia chooses not to compete with the two Negros. She would lose. So would Nicolle if she were on a three-person panel.

Alicia needs to be given back her American Voices show on the weekend, and they need to bring on a third Negro to The Weekend.

Or bring on an aggressive Latina, like Paola. Alicia chooses not to play.

by Anonymousreply 27April 7, 2024 3:13 PM

R26 They know how to separate the two. They are not being interviewed on a news show by her father, so they know there's a difference.

by Anonymousreply 28April 7, 2024 3:22 PM

I think Alicia adds a nice balance to Michael Steele and the sometimes overly excitable Symone.

by Anonymousreply 29April 7, 2024 6:18 PM

Ayman is soo desperate to denounce Biden for the Hamas/Israel situation. His guests ainโ€™t buying it. Try again.

by Anonymousreply 32April 8, 2024 1:15 AM

Not a racist asshole, just a person who closely watches MSNBC for content balance.

I am clever, but never intended to be funny. Only giving my opinion on a Minority based panel show.

How about an opinion on a white conservative show?

Elise Jordan needs to be kicked in the cunt to the curb on Morning Joe.

Ari's fawning over convict Michael Avenatti was nauseating; so glad that Nick Ackerman and Joan Walsh were on hand to remind Ari of Avenatti's crimes against his clients.

by Anonymousreply 43April 9, 2024 11:14 PM

Michael Cohen is going after Ari on Twitter X.

by Anonymousreply 44April 9, 2024 11:33 PM

Ari has to be the smartest attorney in frame.

I remember his Blagoevich interview was also quite the blow job.

by Anonymousreply 45April 9, 2024 11:49 PM

Avenatti needs to be reminded on a daily basis that HE turned out to be the biggest disappointment in the Stormy Daniels case. I saw his interview with Ari. For a convicted felon, serving 19 years in prison, Avenatti is as cocky, cavalier, and defiant as ever. Fuck him.

by Anonymousreply 47April 10, 2024 12:28 AM

Bolton = bloody stool

by Anonymousreply 48April 10, 2024 9:14 PM

^ Let's not make perfect the enemy of the good. While perfect would be Bolton endorsing Biden, good is him declining to vote for Trump and encouraging fellow Republicans to likewise not vote for Trump. Every Republican who fails to vote for Trump is a plus for Biden.

by Anonymousreply 49April 10, 2024 9:49 PM

It isn't that he didn't endorse Biden, r49, it's that he trashed him. The waters don't need muddying.

by Anonymousreply 50April 10, 2024 9:54 PM

Bolton is an opportunistic traitor.

He is vile.

He needs to join Republicans for Biden.

by Anonymousreply 51April 10, 2024 9:54 PM

[quote] It isn't that he didn't endorse Biden, [R49], it's that he trashed him. The waters don't need muddying.

While I would have preferred he didn't trash Biden, the pragmatic in me can live with his bottom line: 'Republicans, don't vote for Trump.'

by Anonymousreply 52April 10, 2024 10:00 PM

I get that, r52, but I just can't stand Bolton.

by Anonymousreply 53April 10, 2024 10:04 PM

Is Ari going to pull out a Magic Mirror?

by Anonymousreply 56April 11, 2024 2:29 AM

I'm watching the Zoey Tur (Katy's parent) interview on CNN. Zoey was journalist/helicopter pilot who covered the Simpson Bronco chase.

by Anonymousreply 57April 11, 2024 6:25 PM

Katy's mother (and Zoe's personal and professional partner), Marika, spoke on behalf of the couple on their daughter's show; no mention was made of dad.

Are Katy and Zoe estranged?

[quote] Are Katy and Zoe estranged?

What the heck is going on with Nicoleโ€™s makeup?

It looks like the contour and highlighter were applied with a shovel.

And why do her eyes look tiny and so close together?

I swear MSNBC recruits their makeup artists straight from the Pre K finger painting class.

Or the makeup artists really hate the on air talent.

by Anonymousreply 60April 11, 2024 8:24 PM

I think it's the lighting moreso than the makeup application, R60. The naturally gorgeous Karine Jean-Pierre is never properly lit, she looked absolutely clown-like yesterday.

That, or the makeup artists do dislike certain of their charges, i.e. Minnie HaHa Wallace.

by Anonymousreply 61April 11, 2024 8:40 PM

[quote]I swear MSNBC recruits their makeup artists straight from the Pre K finger painting class. Or the makeup artists really hate the on air talent.

by Anonymousreply 66April 11, 2024 10:50 PM

Great opening segment tonight, Joy Ann Reid. Thanks for inviting Ed Gordon and Rolanda Watts to participate.

Ari, what is wrong with you?

by Anonymousreply 69April 11, 2024 11:51 PM

I'm getting the feeling that Ari may realize - or fear - that he is being eclipsed by people like Lisa Rubin.

He seems a little on edge and testy lately, and Lisa, for example, is better at explaining legal concepts without talking down to her audience.

She's been promoted. He may feel her breathing down his neck.

by Anonymousreply 70April 12, 2024 12:09 AM

Joy had Rolanda Watts on to talk about the OJ trial.

by Anonymousreply 71April 12, 2024 1:37 AM

Chuck "I believe Bill Barr to be an honorable man" Rosenberg is back at it this morning, chirping "I don't believe Judge (Aileen) Cannon is a biased judge."

Why does MSNBC still have this guy on retainer? Rashida Jones is pleading to be terminated.

by Anonymousreply 100April 15, 2024 3:49 PM

Barr is โ€œhonorableโ€ in the sense he had some principles and resigned rather than participate in the coup. But he was a weakly coward about it, saying nothing and departing with a letter full of nothing but fulsome praise for a man he acknowledges was a dangerous idiot.

Cannon is hardly to defend. It seems to me she is not only biased, but getting instructions from strategists sympathetic to Trump since some if her moves seem to be more clever than she appears to be.

Oh forgot, she was with W. & Poppy Bush on this.

by Anonymousreply 128April 17, 2024 1:33 AM

Funny watching the video of Repukes walking the Mayorkas Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, and MTG looks like the pizza delivery person who got lost.

by Anonymousreply 129April 17, 2024 1:33 AM

Why are they even wasting time on this? Thatโ€™s going nowhere in the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 130April 17, 2024 1:36 AM

Letโ€™s not forget that Joe Biden, a long-time backer of the Hyde Amendment, was not pro-choice, either. Heโ€™s no ally!!!

by Anonymousreply 131April 17, 2024 1:36 AM

Hate to tell you, r128, but you're going to have to be more forgiving of those who finally see the light or they may not wind up seeing the light.

by Anonymousreply 132April 17, 2024 1:37 AM

But have they seen the light R 132

by Anonymousreply 133April 17, 2024 1:52 AM

Theyโ€™ve seen the real peril that Trump represents, R133. In this existential battle, thatโ€™s enough for me.

by Anonymousreply 134April 17, 2024 1:55 AM

It was just a helpful hint, r133.

by Anonymousreply 135April 17, 2024 1:57 AM

[quote]Why are they even wasting time on this? Thatโ€™s going nowhere in the Senate.

Because the Do Nothing Republicans need to do nothing with great fanfare.

[quote]Letโ€™s not forget that Joe Biden, a long-time backer of the Hyde Amendment, was not pro-choice, either. Heโ€™s no ally!!!

Silly Russki AI Bot, you are talking about the Vice President who flipped Obama on Marriage Equality. The Hyde Amendment will be on life support in 2025.

by Anonymousreply 136April 17, 2024 10:28 AM

Yummy Senator Chris Murphy!!!

by Anonymousreply 137April 17, 2024 12:38 PM

Has any impeachment since Andrew Johnson's been in doubt?

by Anonymousreply 138April 17, 2024 1:33 PM

Second Trump impeachment could have gone the other way if Mitch had a spine.

by Anonymousreply 139April 17, 2024 1:47 PM

Yesterday I was listening to CNN and the reporter was treating the impeachment as real and discussing whether or not the House would convince 67 Senators to convict. Switched to MSNBC and they were (correctly) treating it as an empty political gesture doomed to fail

by Anonymousreply 140April 17, 2024 1:49 PM

Which is wy, if we want ant change, that there needs to be 67+ Democratic Senators in2025.

by Anonymousreply 141April 17, 2024 3:02 PM

Impossible.

by Anonymousreply 142April 17, 2024 3:05 PM

If the Democratic Super majority does not happen NOW, we will be stuck with the Electoral College FOREVER.

by Anonymousreply 143April 17, 2024 3:08 PM

You also need 2/3rds of the House and 3/4 of the states to get rid of the Electoral College and neither of those is possible, so I donโ€™t understand your focus on the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 144April 17, 2024 3:12 PM

The Senate is the KEY to all government reform.

by Anonymousreply 145April 17, 2024 3:48 PM

What the hell MSNBC?! Take Andrea Mitchell off the air. She is acting like a stroke victim today. The poor thing is an embarrassment to herself and the network. Be kind and move her to a less stressful role.

by Anonymousreply 146April 17, 2024 4:17 PM

Iโ€™m an inveterate MSNBC watcher but that doesnโ€™t preclude from concluding some of my fellow fans of the channel, posting here, are plain nuts. I can only hope itโ€™s just one random poster who somehow thinks a Senate supermajority and/or abolishment of the Electoral College is within the realm of possibility.

by Anonymousreply 147April 17, 2024 4:37 PM

Senate Majority can make DC a state +ad two Dem Senators.

The process starts there.

Chris Jansing is AWFUL.

Her questions are embarrassing.

by Anonymousreply 149April 17, 2024 5:12 PM

The entire post Morning Joe/pre Deadline White House time slots need to be reevaluated.

by Anonymousreply 150April 17, 2024 5:32 PM

Mitchell / Jansing / Tur - this is why I grab the remote and turn to CNN in the afternoon. Watching Boris Sanchez tell me the news of the day makes me hard for three hours.

by Anonymousreply 151April 17, 2024 5:33 PM

I agree R150. The network has some talented folks to option for midday programming.

by Anonymousreply 152April 17, 2024 5:35 PM

R148, theyโ€™d have to repeal the filibuster rule first.

by Anonymousreply 153April 17, 2024 5:37 PM

Chris Jansing is asking Claire McCaskill to explain why coffee and tea are not allowed on the Senate floor today. And Claire is talking about the Senate's secret candy stash. Obviously this Impeachment is being treated as a complete joke.

by Anonymousreply 154April 17, 2024 5:45 PM

So why isn't coffee and tea allowed on the senate floor today ? Do tell - don't keep us in suspense !

by Anonymousreply 155April 17, 2024 5:47 PM

No, it cannot.

by Anonymousreply 156April 17, 2024 5:49 PM

It *is* a complete joke, r154, why shouldn't it be treated as such?

Georgia needs to stop re-electing that baboon in the House.

by Anonymousreply 158April 17, 2024 6:11 PM

Donโ€™t paint with such a broad brush, R158.

by Anonymousreply 159April 17, 2024 7:11 PM

r153, and don't you think Democrats are finally fed up with the Trumpublican Party to do so?

by Anonymousreply 160April 17, 2024 8:08 PM

I love the tone or timbre or whatever of Andrea Mitchell's voice. But when it's time to go, it's time.

by Anonymousreply 161April 17, 2024 8:09 PM

The main reason I want a Democratic Super Majority in the Senate is to Impeach and REMOVE Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Roberts and Barrett.

Lying about Stare Decisis is Amy's cause.

by Anonymousreply 162April 17, 2024 8:11 PM

THAT'S not going to happen, R162. I'd like it as well, but too many Democrats are still bringing knives to gun fights. Though some are getting really ballsy and it's a joy to see.

And then that whole decorum thing.

by Anonymousreply 163April 17, 2024 8:21 PM

[quote]I'd like it as well, but too many Democrats are still bringing knives to gun fights.

Unlike GOP members who never have to pay at the polling booth for their adherence to GQP loonies, Democrats must placate a HUGE number of disparate Party voters.

Why that is, is always debated, but fact is Democrats always have to swim harder than Replublucans.

by Anonymousreply 164April 17, 2024 8:29 PM

This is admittedly trivial, but while we are complaining about peopleโ€™s hair and makeup, I find Ari Melberโ€™s unshaven appearance distracting. I wish he would either grow a beard or shave. If heโ€™s aiming for a sexy masculine look, it isnโ€™t working. He looks like a slob.

by Anonymousreply 176April 18, 2024 5:38 PM

ManyHaHa Wallace should be fitted with a stun collar to curb her laughter. There she sits, braying her way through coverage of the trump NYC trial procedure, a potentially dangerous undertaking in which the jurors and witnesses fear for their and their families' safety.

Panelists Glenn Kirschner, Tim Miller, Charlie Sykes and Tim O'Brien stare at her in shock, not cracking a smile among themselves. That girl ain't right.

by Anonymousreply 177April 18, 2024 10:12 PM

How long did you last watching Fox, R223? I've tried a couple of times, but could only put up with their bullshit for five or so minutes at best. I know better now and find something else to do when I'm tired of news.

by Anonymousreply 232April 21, 2024 9:12 PM

Of course Ali was down playing the antisemitic mobs at Columbia.

[quote] And the Ali/Aymen anti Palestinian GENOCIDE is driving me to watch Fox.

At a rally last weekend, Trump was interrupted by repeated chants of "Genocide Joe." Not once, but twice, Trump can be heard saying, "They're not wrong." Even Fox may not be a safe space for you, R223.

by Anonymousreply 234April 21, 2024 9:42 PM

It is not a safe space on purpose. I watch Fox, rarely, to keep up my vaccination

by Anonymousreply 235April 21, 2024 10:30 PM

It's astounding how much Fox is like Russian state tv - here's Alex Jones crying on their Sean Hannity type host Vladimir Solovyov's show (in English - Vladimir lived in the US for years).

If you start at minute 17.30 on this video, Vladimir goes after the gays - and a bit later, our Alex is bawling his eyes out (to try to get the attention away from Vlad and onto himself!) At one point, he takes a swig of vodka, lol. Tears streaming down at minute 19 or so.

This video channel belong to a 26 year old Russian who fled when they had the mobilization because he didn't want to go to fight in Ukraine.

by Anonymousreply 236April 21, 2024 11:55 PM

I love the part at min 22 where Alex explains that Trump sees Russia like a beautiful woman that he wants to get with and have children with - but the CIA says no no no, we're gonna kill her and eat her, they're cannibals...

That's how desperate Alex was to grab the stage away from the Russian lunatic - and outdo him on the nonsense. smh

It is like a high school speech panel.

by Anonymousreply 243April 22, 2024 5:08 PM

by Anonymousreply 250April 22, 2024 8:53 PM

Lightbulb moment!

Claire McCaskill just cut through Nicolle's Comedy Circus with two statements that whisked over ManyHaHa's empty head:

1. Melania is not in court with her husband because she does not believe him; and

2. Melania's only campaign appearance has been a gay republican fundraiser.

Claire suggests that the latter indicates Melania is more open to "inclusion" than her husband. Might Melania have a near and dear gay in her life? See where my thoughts are heading?

by Anonymousreply 251April 22, 2024 10:16 PM

^gasp!

by Anonymousreply 252April 22, 2024 10:48 PM

Tone it back, Joy. That bright yellow jacket is wearing you, not vice versa. You want viewers to be receptive to your verbal message, not sidetracked by attention-grabbing loudly colored clothing, too bright nail color, glossy lips (matte is so much better on you), and uncombed wig.

Spend the money on a stylist, and not that girl found touching-up makeup in the "cluuub" ladies' room.

Accentuate the positive; eliminate the negative.

by Anonymousreply 253April 22, 2024 11:39 PM

Chris Hayes looks like he's put on weight.

by Anonymousreply 254April 23, 2024 12:26 AM

R250: I think Rachel, in her always professional and attractive monochromatic attire, is the best dressed of the MSNBC women, with Andrea Mitchell owning the runner-up position.

by Anonymousreply 255April 23, 2024 1:28 AM

Mr. Blackwell would have trashed Rachel.

by Anonymousreply 256April 23, 2024 2:40 AM

Of course, Rachel had to insist on taking the MSNBC spot in the courtroom and make it all about her.

by Anonymousreply 257April 23, 2024 3:27 AM

And thank god she did ^^^

by Anonymousreply 258April 23, 2024 5:44 AM

Not some bad wig, just a lesbian who cares more about truth than appearances.

Team Rachel

It bugs my mind that these talking heads will repeatedly declare things like "Michael Cohen is untrustworthy" to argue the details of the trial but they have him on the payroll.

I feel like it's a conflict of interest for MSNBC. Y'all hire this man to give his opinion up and down the network, but the day of the trial your talking points are all lined up against him.

It makes no sense.

by Anonymousreply 260April 23, 2024 3:27 PM

by Anonymousreply 263April 23, 2024 7:30 PM

Michael Cohen is not untrustworthy considering the amount of evidence he corroborates and adds to, which is further corroborated.

Coordinating the anti Trump talking points

by Anonymousreply 267April 23, 2024 8:27 PM

Dasha Burns is the love child of Baghdad Bob and Tokyo Rose. This stripper dressed, fascist cunt has attacked Senator Fetterman (CVA) and President Biden (dementia) way ahead of the MSM in introducing the talking points direct from Faux News that they were not fit for office. Today, on Chris Jansing, her repetition of Twitler propaganda (without any hit of a challenge) was a bridge too far. She gleefully repeated a Trump/partisan attack on Biden (which originated with aptly named former Japanese PM Aso) as a feeble old man who will invariably lose in November. Please send this Pravda โ€œjournalistโ€ to Faux, Newsmaxx, or OANN. Jaysus, WTF is wrong with Rashida Jones?

by Anonymousreply 268April 23, 2024 8:45 PM

I give Nicolle Wallace a lot of credit for keeping the spotlight on trump and his travails, but she is starting to really bother me when she says things like "Stick around it's going to be such fun."

There is nothing FUN about all of this. And it's worse than her high school girl giggling.

by Anonymousreply 269April 23, 2024 9:14 PM

But even then. It's slimy and gross.

Why are they hiring these shady "former Republican" operatives?

by Anonymousreply 270April 23, 2024 10:47 PM

The phenomenon of the Great Realignment has escaped R270โ€™s attention.

by Anonymousreply 271April 23, 2024 11:02 PM

No, Joy Reid, you of all people do not get to ridicule anyone's hair, makeup or attire - not even donald's.

by Anonymousreply 272April 23, 2024 11:13 PM

^Neal looked thrilled to be on her show tonight. Not. An infrequent guest at the 7 o'clock hour, Katyal seems not to be the type who suffers fools gladly or otherwise, and could barely contain his disdain for Joy Reid.

Now watch as she alienates the amiable Nick Ackerman by interrupting and talking over him.

by Anonymousreply 273April 23, 2024 11:46 PM

Why do you watch her R272/ R273? Youโ€™re obviously triggered. Why torture yourself? Just change the channel. Easy peasey.

Silence is consent, R274. Charlatan needs to go, she is a disgrace to the race.

Only the grand Jew hating Raf Sanchez could turn a story allegedly about an Israeli-American hostage (an anti-Semitic trope in, and of, itself) still living in the custody of glorious Hamas into a story about a little Muslim infant who survived the evil Jews killing her family. Master class on Goebbels level propaganda by Hamas shill Dirty Sanchez. Iโ€™m shocked Israel hasnโ€™t deported his bigoted ass.

by Anonymousreply 278April 24, 2024 5:49 PM

Please calm down, R278.

by Anonymousreply 279April 24, 2024 7:24 PM

Raf Sanchez is so obnoxious in his pro-Hamas feelings. Nobody heard about this closet case until the October 7 attack.

by Anonymousreply 280April 24, 2024 7:25 PM

That would be the rational thing to do, R274, but here's the thing. Not watching the show means losing the opportunity to come here bitch about it. They aren't about to give that up.

by Anonymousreply 281April 24, 2024 7:30 PM

Please wake up, R279.

by Anonymousreply 320April 26, 2024 11:16 AM

^I was just gonna say, Fanone in those tight jeans can come over to my place anytime. And is it just me, or was he looking more swole than usual?

by Anonymousreply 321April 26, 2024 11:53 AM

Lisa Rubin is an interesting vibe. She's very good and getting better, but you get the sense she's not the Joyce Vance/ Barb McQuaid/Sisters in Law type of gal. Hard to see her hanging with the other legal ladies bonding over apple-tinis. Easy to see her dominating every room and every conversation she's in without a moment of regret about it.

by Anonymousreply 322April 26, 2024 12:28 PM

Lisa Rubin is a working lawyer. The sisters in law are professors, a retiree, and a journalist who briefly practiced law. That's why the vibe is different McQuade and Vance are golden. Banks has been coasting on her reputation for years.

by Anonymousreply 323April 26, 2024 12:33 PM

r322, here. I get your point r323, and agree. I like all the women mentioned but it seems clear to me Lisa Rubin is poised to raise everyone's game. I'm speculating Melber is feeling the heat from Rubin's rise more than any of the women. Though, she's obviously occupying a space that Katie Phang was gunning for. I like Rubin btw

by Anonymousreply 324April 26, 2024 12:42 PM

I suppose because she's still a working lawyer, Lisa Rubin seems to give an immediacy to her court reporting that Ari and Katie, sitting in their MSNBC anchor chairs, simply lack.

On the panel show last night, Ari appeared completely sidelined by Lisa and pissed he even had to be there. Katie, at least, was far more invested in the conversation.

by Anonymousreply 325April 26, 2024 1:07 PM

I can only hope Melber is on the way out. He seems way too interested in injecting hip cultural references.

by Anonymousreply 326April 26, 2024 1:30 PM

Rubin is growing on me. When she first came on board a few months ago, she was too intense for me (and I think the others on the panel). She seems to have cooled down a bit, a little more relaxed. I'm able to pay attention to her more, and I like it.

by Anonymousreply 327April 26, 2024 3:45 PM

Lisa Rubin is like that goody two shoes who thinks she is always right.

by Anonymousreply 328April 26, 2024 3:53 PM

But not to the frequency and insufferability of Ms. know-it-all, Maddow. Totally unwatchable.

by Anonymousreply 329April 26, 2024 3:59 PM

She's considered insufferable off the air as well. She's not well liked in the neighborhood.

by Anonymousreply 330April 26, 2024 4:16 PM

Lisa and Katie Phang are of a similar mode. Joyce and Barb are both professors of law.

That is why Andrew and Melissa Murray are such a great couple.

Lisa and Katie in the courtroom ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

I'm surprised there have been no posts about Aussie Lachlan Cartwright who broke his NDA with the National Inquirer to expose all the ugly inner dealings at that scum rag. He's been appearing a lot with Joy and Nicolle lately. they obviously love him, and so do I. What a hot guy! Very charismatic. I can imagine MSNBC offering him some kind of permanent talking head position.

by Anonymousreply 350April 27, 2024 3:20 AM

I'm an MSBC junkie but everything programmed between Nicole Wallace and Lawrence O'Donnell is getting on my nerves lately.

r351, AI Russki Bot does not like the all Tump, all corruption coverage. But stops short of Stephanie Rhule.

You have shown yourself.

If the Bot is truly an "MSNBC junkie" (bots=it,them) it would see the defective filler time from 7amET to 4pmET.

Zhalka, AI Russki Bot, zhalka.

by Anonymousreply 354April 27, 2024 12:42 PM

Tristan Snell is on MSNBC because of his looks. He is often flat-out wrong in some pronouncements.

Lisa Rubin often just stares at him when he fucks up - I'm guessing she is prevented from pointing out his errors. Nicolle tried to correct him once and he spoke over her.

For gods sake my degree from Law & Order has taught me enough to know when he's wrong.

Maybe he's cleaned up his act, but early performances were a train wreck.

by Anonymousreply 355April 27, 2024 12:59 PM

Tristan Snell is beautiful. I don't care what he says with his little lisp - just keep the camera on him.

I think he's married with kids (I remember hearing him mention his family once).

by Anonymousreply 356April 27, 2024 1:56 PM

I had to turn off Ari last night when a segment turned into an exchange of rap lyrics and references and a discussion about how poor Joyce Vance didnโ€™t get the references and another discussion about when she was to be enlightened (later in the show) as if she gives a shit which inept and mundane lyric she failed to recognize.

I don't think I've watched him since.

by Anonymousreply 375April 27, 2024 3:55 PM

No comments on adorable Ben Collins (the newly named editor of The Onion) and mega gay icon Michelangelo Signorile both guesting with Joy on last night's fun gigglefest?

Joy loves her gays!

by Anonymousreply 376April 27, 2024 5:33 PM

Ben Collins is gay? Not saying I doubt it, just asking if he's officially out.

by Anonymousreply 377April 27, 2024 5:39 PM

I was wondering what had happened to Ben Collins. I hadn't seen him on air recently. The news stories about him becoming CEO of The Onion refer to him as a "former NBC News reporter" and say he had worked at NBC News "until recently." I wonder when he and NBC parted ways.

by Anonymousreply 378April 27, 2024 6:18 PM

by Anonymousreply 404April 28, 2024 1:18 PM

Is Symone still tipsy from the WHCD?

by Anonymousreply 405April 28, 2024 1:28 PM

It was kind of creepy how he paused to look around the room after every joke. Just like on SNL where he's constantly talking about how the crowd reacts to his jokes.

by Anonymousreply 406April 28, 2024 1:39 PM

Rep. Moskowitz of Fla. is on now and he's funnier than Colin Jost.

by Anonymousreply 407April 28, 2024 1:49 PM

by Anonymousreply 408April 28, 2024 2:54 PM

Biden just has to hold Michigan, Pennsylvania & Wisconsin. And he will. Trump can flip the 33 electoral votes of Arizona, Georgia & Nevada & still win.

by Anonymousreply 412April 28, 2024 11:14 PM

Just think about it. Trump lost the last election. Why would anyone who didn't vote for Trump in the last election vote for him in the next one? What has he done in the last 3-4 years that would convince anyone to jump over to his side? I would even estimate that there were more Hillary haters in 2016 than there are Joe haters in 2024.

I refuse to believe any of these silly early polls.

by Anonymousreply 413April 29, 2024 12:35 AM

r409, neither is funny and Jost demonstrated the need for a laugh track.

by Anonymousreply 414April 29, 2024 12:36 AM

by Anonymousreply 417April 29, 2024 1:49 AM

R413, itโ€™s the people who withhold their votes that will hurt Biden. They call him Genocide Joe. And yeah, the Nazis took power because the leftists and centrists couldnโ€™t unite against them.

by Anonymousreply 418April 29, 2024 1:59 AM

I worry about the same thing r418. I wish Biden would take this pro-Palestinian protest with young voters to more seriously.

by Anonymousreply 419April 29, 2024 2:04 AM

The vast majority of voters are not pro-Palestinian.

by Anonymousreply 420April 29, 2024 2:18 AM

For every lost vote to Biden, R 418 & 419, consider every vote gained by Biden/lost to Trump by republicans in the Liz Cheney lane.

by Anonymousreply 421April 29, 2024 2:39 AM

There will be far more Republicans withholding their votes for Trump than Democrats withholding their votes for Biden. Far, far more.

This why I despair over the future; that any person believes that to be the case - that the "Majority of Voters Say Donald Trump Was a Success, Joe Biden Is a Failure" - means we live amongst the dumbest fucking people in America. Maybe the dumbest fucking people in the world.

The idiocy is astounding, and if true - rather than clickbait - we are doomed as a country. How did so many people turn out so stupid?

I should no longer be astonished but apparently even I am not cynical enough.

American education policy allows people to opt out of public schools into Jesus academies and home schooling. The public schools are controlled by local school boards. Nobody teaches civics anymore.

Religion has become an entrepreneurial enterprise with private โ€œpreachersโ€telling people only what they want to hear

Does Joy Reid want to say these Terriorists are โ€œProtestingโ€ peaceful when they are blocking Jews from walking on Columbia Campus.

by Anonymousreply 438April 29, 2024 10:47 PM

I think Nancy genuinely shocked Tur, who, as has been pointed out, had it fucking coming. Nancy was swift and merciless and unconcerned about a public smackdown on the most friendly media outlet Democrats have. I wish Nancy ha also pointed out to this wench that the Covid crisis arguably only became a pandemic because the Orange Pustule closed CDC offices in China and then failed to respond in any effective when covid showed up in the USA.

by Anonymousreply 439April 29, 2024 11:25 PM

R438, Joy has that student reporter on and the reporter is reporting on the Protesters but not what they are protesting. This is a ratatouille of conflicting protests. Amateurs.

by Anonymousreply 441April 29, 2024 11:37 PM

JOY REID IS ANTI-JEWISH.

by Anonymousreply 444April 30, 2024 1:24 AM

Pelosi is crazy or just senile to be accusing Tur of being a Trump supporter for stepping on her script.

But there are those who have real legitimate concerns about immigration, globalization, innovation, and what does that mean to their job and their familyโ€™s future? And we have to address those concerns. And Joe Biden is doing that. Created nine million jobs in his term in office. Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of a president. So, we just have to make sure people know.

โ€œThat was a global pandemic,โ€ Tur shot back, which appeared to irritate Pelosi.

โ€œHe had the worst record of any president,โ€ Pelosi reiterated. โ€œWeโ€™ve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ainโ€™t mine.โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t think anybody can accuse me of that,โ€ Tur said.

It irritated her for the same reason it irritated most viewers because Turd was being a fucking Trump apologist and making excuses for the orange piece of shit. Thatโ€™s why Madam Speaker RIGHTLY snatched Turd by the edges.

[quote] โ€œI donโ€™t think anybody can accuse me of that,โ€ Tur said.

by Anonymousreply 457April 30, 2024 5:56 PM

Chris Jansing is DUMB. Love when her guests say it basically to her face.

by Anonymousreply 458April 30, 2024 6:05 PM

Once again, Katy Tur is no Trump supporter. She was assigned to the Trump campaign & was reviled by Trump & his supporters for her tough, honest coverage.

by Anonymousreply 459April 30, 2024 6:45 PM

I can see Katy Tur moving over to Fox. Sheโ€™s definitely making it a point to show that sheโ€™s tough on Democrats and makes excuses for Trumpโ€™s failures.

by Anonymousreply 460April 30, 2024 7:20 PM

[quote] She was assigned to the Trump campaign & was reviled by Trump & his supporters for her tough, honest coverage.

And had the effrontery to put a key dem talking point into real world context and Nancy couldn't handle it. Just like many on this board.

by Anonymousreply 461April 30, 2024 7:28 PM

All Nancy said was โ€œif you want to be an apologist for him, that might be your roleโ€ฆbut itโ€™s not mine.โ€ Which is totally correct. Itโ€™s Turd who got all offended that someone would suggest sheโ€™s a Dump apologist.

by Anonymousreply 462April 30, 2024 7:34 PM

If a global pandemic had hit during the Obama administration and there were major job losses every Republican would be blaming Obama for attempting to destroy America, I don't give Trump a single pass for anything that happened while he was President. Trump got rid of the office of pandemic preparedness, lie and lied to us about the severity of Covid, promised that it woud "magically" disappear by Easter, he promised magic. Trump's solution was fucking magic. No one should be given this crook any passes and I sure don't.

"But there was a pandemic" is not an excuse for Trump's failures.

by Anonymousreply 463April 30, 2024 7:48 PM

But isn't one of the first things that the incoming Trump Administration did is actually throw out the Obama/Biden Pandemic response book? Trump is his own God.

Lisa Rubin continues to be MSNBC's resident legal dominatrix who can whip her lessors with a look. She often seems to be restraining herself when someone says something she knows is less the well reasoned.

When exactly did the O'Donnell/ Wagner slapdown happen last night? at the handoff? I want to see it but don't want to search.

by Anonymousreply 504May 1, 2024 12:04 PM

Yes, at the handoff. Wagner turned her shoe into Colombia U coverage with that student reported Hilton. Pure crap coverage of students wanting to protest SOMETHING. Lawrence must have been watching as his staff flew into a pro Administration, pro NYPD opening piece offsetting Wagner's 100% "student" buy-in. This morning on MJ it showed that Lawrence was correct in his analysis.

by Anonymousreply 505May 1, 2024 12:24 PM

R504

You can see Lisa Rubin get very uncomfortable when she's on with Tristan Snell and he's spouting bullshit.

I don't know how they all manage to keep their cool when they're dealing with others who have gone off the reservation.

Though sometimes it seems as simple as stopping a conversation and concentrating on another guest, as Nicolle did last night after Frank Bruni spouted his "we shouldn't call them stupid" bullshit last night. Seems he's written a book lecturing us all on how we should be nice to the Republican animals in the zoo. I wanted to strangle him through the TV screen. I think Nicolle just decided to move on.

It was Bruni, though, so I don't know what I was expecting.

by Anonymousreply 506May 1, 2024 12:41 PM

Plus Antonia Hiltonโ€™s bullshit how she thought the negotiations between Columbia University & the terrorists were a real actual thing. Lawrence would have slammed that in her face, but Alex lapped it up.
