Most recently, I posted a tweet to Survivor's Penner about Abbie Maria not being that season's villain but rather it was pedo/fraudster Skupin.

He forwarded it to her and she sent me a DM back laughing about how I hit the nail right on the head. She also retweeted it for everyone.

Lydia Cornell and I correspond on Twitter. She's a sweetheart.

I got into a Twitter fight with William Shatner. I’m social media friends with Rose McGowan and Jay Bakker (Tammy Faye’s son) and talk to them both regularly.

Trevor Donovan liked one of my comments on his Facebook page. I immediately masturbated.

No one anyone mainstream would know. I am friendly with Tairrie B and Jessika Adams in chats for years and was previously friendly with Mayte Garcia.

Zachary Quinto tweeted something about Truvada for PrEP, saying that gays shouldn't use it or something like that. I don't remember exactly what he said but I remember I thought it was ignorant. I called him out for being uninformed. He shot back saying he was perfectly informed. He was defensive and snippy.

Alec Sulkin (The Sulk) was my very first Twitter follower because he saw I had zero followers. We chatted at one point about Deadwood, cats, take out and a joke my mom made.

I got into it with Chris Cuomo too, back in 2016. I cannot stand that shitheel. I've interacted with John Dean. He's a cool guy. Rachel Bitcoffer once "liked" something I said. Ken Dilanian blocked me because I called him an ass.

I Googled him, and found his account, and saw I was blocked. Funny thing is I never post anything on social media, so don't know why I was blocked.

I am not surprised Chris Cuomo is such a jerk. I have a guy friend who is Italian-American and I asked him whether calling someone "Fredo" (the weak link Corleone brother in The Godfather) was a huge insult. My friend said it actually is a huge insult. Anyway, I still think Chris Cuomo overreacted to being called Fredo by some random douchebag.

I engaged in a Twitter feud with drunk Cap'n Shandy from Below Deck.

I called her out for her publicly berating her employees in front of other employees on a recent episode of the show, and she shot back that she's had years of management experience and that I should pay attention and learn something.

I shot back that I, too, had years of management experience and that one of the first things you learn as a manager is to never discipline or demean an employee in front of other employees, and that I was surprised she didn't know that.

The bitch then blocked me.

I've shared before that I was also one of several here blocked by the fabulous Brendad Ickson (aka Brenda Dickson). I made a harmless comment that many of us would love to see what she truly looked like now as opposed to odd cartoonish photoshop attempts. When I went to check on the lovely lady the following day, I had been blocked.

Forgot a few: Ricky Gervais liked a tweet of mine (old Twitter) and Ben Mankiewicz wished my son congratulations on his high school graduation (son is a big TCM fan). I follow Cecilia Peck on Instagram (yes, I’m crazy about her dad but also worked in non-fiction programming years ago) and she’s pretty engaging.

The goofiest one? Keanu Reeves added me to his top four friends once on MySpace for about two months and I got hit with hundreds of DMs from women asking how I knew him…never met the guy.

When Nina Garcia joined twitter I messaged her and we have been messaging ever since. Met her in person a few times too and she got a kick out of "that's you?"

This won't mean much to a lot of people, but I've had some really good exchanges with comic book writer Gail Simone.

Also a few with some Trek folks, most notably Gates McFadden, Jeri Ryan, and Marina Sirtis before she left Twitter after Musk took over.

Lawyer John Morgan and I shared a few texts back and forth on IG. He’s very witty. He also fired a group of marketing employees who protested the company’s “Size Matters” tagline. Love the guy.

I shared an old pic of Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) on Instagram saying how hot he was and the man himself commented. That was a bit of a (nice) surprise.

I tweeted Rebecca Front about a book she'd written about her phobias and got a lovely message back.

When I was still on Twitter I had a friend request from Taye Diggs.

I was also a dedicated fan of Duchess Goldblatt.....but she's a Twitter celeb, perhaps not a worldwide one.

A few years back, Chris O'Dowd posted a picture on his Twitter account and asked his followers to write a funny caption for it.

He chose my caption as his favorite and congratulated me for my wit.

I once DMed Mexican actor David Zepeda and asked him when he'll finally come out. He blocked me instantly, lol.

Strangely enough, I felt kinda proud of teasing him.

I just looked Paisley up and he appears to be a trans rights campaigner. So if you followed a celebrity on Twitter 8 years ago who made comments deemed anti-trans, you were likely put on a blocklist.

There are stars who have PAs and a whole bunch of people around them, who probably don't manage their own social media. And then there are most other celebrities who have a more direct interest. In some cases the older ones thought social media was a novelty and enjoyed being on it. And the younger ones are very media savvy. Delanian kept making assertions on TV as a journalist/analyst, that were just wrong. So I kept nudging him. I wasn't rude, I was just challenging him by asking questions. And the fucker blocked me.

In the 90’s, the first iteration of a chat room I knew was Internet Relay Chat (IRC). I forget exactly how, now, but if you knew some information about a user you could send commands to their computer. Kind of like how Kirk lowered Khan’s shields in Star Trek II.
