I was up late rewatching the movie with the late Alan Rickman. It looked like loads of fun. I was still too young and nowhere near NY.

It was still open when I first moved here (I moved here in 2000 and it closed in 2006) and I always meant to go but never got around to it, which I deeply regret now. It just seemed like a thing that would be there forever at the time, but now that I've lived in NYC longer I know better how these instutitions mean nothing to the people with money, so enjoy them while you can

I went a couple times, long after its heyday, in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It didn't seems to have many cool bands then, or at least bands I was interested it. I might have seen Dean Johnson there, though!

That's a given R5. I think the actors portraying the various groups were pretty spot on except for Debbie Harry.
