Good. Biden is letting 85% of border crossers stay in the U.S.. That’s thousands of people EVERY DAY…Fuck Bidens Immigration Policy.

by Anonymousreply 1March 19, 2024 7:43 PM

donald's Roberts Court. Everything he touches, dies.

The "R" in "R1" stands for "Racist!"

I'm for this. Being against illegal immigration isn't anti-immigrant nor racist.

by Anonymousreply 5March 19, 2024 8:02 PM

Sure, dear. Just keep telling yourself that.

by Anonymousreply 6March 19, 2024 8:04 PM

As “whites” are not breeding, someone needs to pay the taxes for all the MAGAYa heading off to the nursing homes. Just say’n

You don’t need to know a thing about the law to know exactly which way this Court is going to rule on any issue that is remotely partisan.

by Anonymousreply 9March 19, 2024 11:05 PM

Some of you really are obtuse.

This is a terrible ruling.

From some Washington Post readers:

[quote]If you had any doubt that the SC doesn't care about the Constitution, you have none now. I want the border fixed, but this is not the way - it violates the Constitution and thwarts Federal authority.

[quote]This tells you exactly where they are going - the SC - with their final decision.

[quote]Legal analysts are stunned by this decision.

and

[quote]Deportations require the cooperation of the country they are being deported to. Getting that permission/treaty/agreement is the province of the Federal Government, not the State.

[quote]Further, undocumented immigration is already illegal at the federal level. This is properly a federal function. We cannot have immigration adjudicated individually in all 50 states.

[quote]S.B. 4 is radical in the idea that Texas somehow thinks it can take over functions of the federal government because Texas doesn't like the way its being handled and considers it an undue burden and the wrong policy. That's not how this works.

[quote]People can scream "states rights" all they want - the federal government has a rightful place and is necessary. Immigration is clearly a federal issue. If Texas doesn't like it, it should have told its Republican reps to vote for the deal that REPUBLICANS negotiated in Congress.

and

[quote]This decision in practical terms dissolves the union.

[quote]It creates a police that no longer responds to immigration law and federal authorities and yet gets to interpret the law — and who could detain anybody they wanted to under pretense of being illegally in the US. Yes, including Americans if they can’t prove their citizenship— and exactly how will Texas figure who is or is not legally present? That is a matter of Federal Law.

[quote]There are thousands of lines of text in these laws, and hundreds of immigration statuses and claims. Can we believe a Texas deputy can figure these out, or even the Texas Courts?

[quote]And this puts a nail in the coffin of the legitimacy of the court.

by Anonymousreply 10March 20, 2024 11:59 AM

Yes, all that is true but what about the FEELINGS of a middle aged car dealer in suburban Akron????

by Anonymousreply 11March 20, 2024 2:15 PM

I'm not sure any Mexican has ever said "no bueño"

by Anonymousreply 12March 20, 2024 9:07 PM

I'm against illegally entering the country but not because I'm racist. It's because I'm against these people being exploited by the people who want them here so they don't have to pay legal wages, benefits, etc. It's modern day slavery and it is sickening that we allow these people to be treated the way we do. Let them come legally and become US citizens so they can reap the benefits of citizenship.

But that won't happen because the corporations need slaves. Anyone who "supports" illegal immigration is essentially saying they are ok with shit wages and no benefits for hard labor and for that you should be ashamed.

by Anonymousreply 13March 20, 2024 11:54 PM

State's rights will supplant federal.

by Anonymousreply 14March 26, 2024 2:43 PM

FUCK THE WOKE PROGRESSIVE ANARCHY LOVING COMMUNISTS! They’re fucking delusional and want the country overrun with 3rd world criminals and leeches. This is not the best of the best, no Indian doctors, or even Mexican landscapers. The Industrial Revolution is over, these are military age men who want to bring Sharia Law here, guess what happens to the LGB then…, or lazy fucks who want to get a government paycheck and scroll facebook and post selfies. You’re insane if you think illegal aliens are good for the country.

Yet the three "liberal" SCOTUS justices voted with the supermajority in saying Colorado and Maine had NO right to remove Trump's name from their states' ballots because, to paraphrase R10 who so aptly put it, "We cannot have i̶m̶m̶i̶g̶r̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ federal/Presidential elections adjudicated individually in all 50 states."

Texas law enforcement should absolutely have the authority to arrest anyone caught committing a crime within the state.

That includes people who cross the border illegally. Arrest and detain them until the Feds can take custody.

Why is this even an issue?

by Anonymousreply 20March 26, 2024 3:41 PM

R20 because woke cunts who hate America and want to turn it into a 3rd world shithole to own the MAGAs

by Anonymousreply 21March 26, 2024 3:45 PM

[quote] Let them come legally and become US citizens so they can reap the benefits of citizenship

So increase the legal limits? Substantially, especially from the countries they're actually coming from?

by Anonymousreply 22March 26, 2024 3:49 PM

Love the fulminating MAGA loonie who blames "woke cunts" but not the Republican Majority in Congress who rejected a bill that would do about 80% of the things they want because their Fat Boss said so.

by Anonymousreply 23March 26, 2024 3:52 PM

R23 The Biden administration dragged its heels on illegal immigration for 3 years repeatedly denying there was a crisis at the border and allowing record numbers to cross.

Under Biden, measures enacted to stem the deluge of illegals were repealed while new policies were put into place that actually facilitate illegal immigration!

Now, in an election year, Biden suddenly starts pretending he gives a shit and blames Republicans for his own failure to act?

Man, you are being played. Democrats need to start calling out their leadership and make them accountable or they WILL lose elections.

by Anonymousreply 24March 26, 2024 4:36 PM

R24 they’d rather blame everything on republicans

by Anonymousreply 25March 26, 2024 4:38 PM

This can clearly be blamed on republicans r25. A bill was hammered out, and then Trump ordered his cult to not even let it come to a vote. Even if you think the bill should have been done years ago, the failure to pass something now is 100% a decision by republicans in the House, and entirely because Trump ordered them.

by Anonymousreply 26March 26, 2024 4:40 PM

R26 Ask the mayors of sanctuary cities like NY and Chicago how they feel about Biden’s policies on illegal immigration. The Feds are giving illegals plane tickets and bus rides to any city they want.

by Anonymousreply 27March 26, 2024 4:53 PM

You're confusing The Feds with the Evil Gay Governor of Texas
