Kiefer Sutherland is relisting his home in L.A. Maybe this was just a rental property? The home is cute and I like the bathroom. It's not what I expected from an A-list star.
It's very cute and modest. I'd live there in a heartbeat.

It's quite bland apart from the bathroom. Very depressing to contemplate what sells for almost two million dollars now in LA. Still, it would make a nice little starter house for somebody with that kind of cash I guess.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 6, 2024 4:14 AM |
Rental home or just a place to stay while he's working. Doesn't Kiefer live in Toronto most of the time?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | February 6, 2024 4:18 AM |
What does Kiefer Sutherland have to do with an A-list star?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 6, 2024 4:24 AM |
^Hi, Julia! Still holding a grudge I see.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 6, 2024 4:29 AM |
Yeah - he doesn't live there. Looks like something he may have bought for someone else.
It's one of his kid's places.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 6, 2024 4:30 AM |
I like it a lot. It's modest, for a star. It's in really good condition. You could just move right in and unpack.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 6, 2024 4:34 AM |
What is a “Kiefer?”
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 6, 2024 5:02 AM |
How very underwhelming.
The bathroom tile is nice enough.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 6, 2024 5:21 AM |
This is where Kiefer brings his anonymous tricks.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 6, 2024 6:16 AM |
Thanks R9. I like it more after seeing the pics. Modern but not too modern. I would definitely live there.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 6, 2024 10:41 AM |
No room for a pony.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 6, 2024 10:46 AM |
What is that neighborhood like?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 6, 2024 11:08 AM |
I would live there. But 1,200 square feet is pretty small.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 6, 2024 3:23 PM |
1,200 square feet is small for how many people? I think it’s a lot for 1-2 persons.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 6, 2024 11:27 PM |
Why are they calling it a lair? It couldn't be more un lair like.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 6, 2024 11:42 PM |
Everyone knows who Kiefer Sutherland is. He permanently A list.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 7, 2024 12:01 AM |
It’s for when he’s in LA, which now, seems like never.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 7, 2024 5:33 PM |
Atwater village is a good "undiscovered" neighborhood. Close to everything, but not too crowded and visible. LA's great secret is how many neighborhoods are "low key" but desirable. Mount Washington, South Pasadena, Topanda, Ocean Park, San Pedro, Larchmont, Adams....
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 7, 2024 5:42 PM |
Atwater is this cool neighborhood sandwiched between posh Los Feliz (which used to be called the gay Beverly Hills) and the Armenian-filled Glendale. Over time, it's turned into a hipster haven, with some really great architecture and lots of trees. But, you know, it's right by the busy five freeway and the currently pretty swollen LA River, which can be flood-prone. Still, along with the influx of hipsters, we've got those charming shops and trendy restaurants popping up.

[quote]The home is cute
The HOUSE is cute, not the home, OP. Unless you're admiring the toiletries on the counter.

Not to derail this thread...
Over 25 years ago, Madonna owned a Wallace Neff mansion in Los Feliz. Whenever I had out-of-town guests, I'd show them the mansion's gate—the only visible part from the street. Recently, during a jog in the area, I took a detour to run by it, only to find a massive sign on the gate, emphatically stating: "SHE DOES NOT LIVE HERE ANYMORE! Please do not ring the bell. Thank you." Now, two and a half decades later, it seems the fans are still driving the current owners crazy.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 7, 2024 6:19 PM |
Now that you brought her up Madonna and Kiefer would have been a volatile couple.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 7, 2024 7:06 PM |
R24 right? I think that's what Madge needs! She had a rough boy once in S. Penn. Why not now Madge?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 7, 2024 7:18 PM |
I don't think Kiefer would be interested in Madonna these days.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 7, 2024 7:33 PM |
I like it - so bland it looks like an Airbnb, but I'd take a cute little abode like this one over some Kardashian-type monstrosity. But I could totally see if he bought this for one of his kids or some side piece he didn't care too much about
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 7, 2024 7:38 PM |
Ewwwwww
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 7, 2024 7:44 PM |
Thinking about Lyle again Julia?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 7, 2024 7:47 PM |
It’s staged in a bland manner, which is good and not distracting. The bones of the house are not bland. It has a lot of details and built-ins that the average house does not have.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 7, 2024 8:01 PM |
It’s also a 100-year old house that still looks good.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 7, 2024 8:02 PM |
I find it astonishing and a little depressing that this is what goes for almost $2M.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 7, 2024 8:03 PM |
R32 it's LA. Everything here is a Jumbo loan.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 7, 2024 8:16 PM |
Yeah, that’s just how it is in certain areas. This isn’t Texas.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 7, 2024 8:34 PM |
[quote]Thanks [R9]. I like it more after seeing the pics.
Same here, R12.
[quote]1,200 square feet is small for how many people? I think it’s a lot for 1-2 persons.
Agreed, R16.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 7, 2024 8:35 PM |
R23, what really shocking is that it's not situated in one of the fancier parts of Los Angeles. Actually, it's just north of the neighborhood of Cypress Park, which, to be honest, has had its share of issues with Hispanic gangs. It even made national headlines for a shocking drive-by shooting back in the '90s and things haven't changed that much since then.

If this is where he brings his hook ups obviously he wants privacy.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 7, 2024 8:41 PM |
I like the house, but I wouldnt call it private.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 7, 2024 9:18 PM |
It's not as if paparazzi are going to be lurking in such a nondescript place.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | February 7, 2024 9:52 PM |
Cute on the outside, white box on the inside.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 7, 2024 10:08 PM |
I’m just talking about the distance between the house and the street, the proximity to neighbors. I don’t think there’s even a fence or wall in the front. Hence, not so private, IMO. Low-key, probably.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 7, 2024 10:40 PM |
I'm surprised there's no bar.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 9, 2024 4:39 AM |
It could use a pop of color.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 12, 2024 8:56 PM |
It's listed under his ex wife's name. Sad if that's all she got in the divorce.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 10, 2024 3:25 AM |
It says 2BR/2BA but there's only one bath in the photos, and the listing uses "bathroom" (singular.)
by Anonymous | reply 45 | March 10, 2024 4:39 PM |
Maybe there's a half bath they didn't show.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | March 10, 2024 9:15 PM |
I love it but a pool needs to go back in.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | March 10, 2024 9:28 PM |
No wonder Julia ran away.
