he had a solid career. He lasted a lot longer than most NFL players. And he play two full noncontroversial seasons while being completely out. He kind of provided a blueprint for what future gay players can expect. Very impressive.

R5 That's good. I think we still get too much of a bad rep when it comes to gay men and multiple partners. So it's encouraging to see some good example of longer term same sex relationships to combat some of that.
