She always seemed a little wacky, but a great actress.

I had heard one time that she had the highest Q rating in the country and that's why Ford hired her to do those commercials for so many years.

She sucked overall, and specifically, she stole the 1977 Best Actress Emmy from Sada Thompson.

Wow, she played two characters in an episode of a shitty sci-fi series that didn't even rack up 60 episodes—groundbreaking.

I think her playing her own Fembot was very creatively liberating for her, without being the drag of the Patty Duke Show or Parent Trap.

R10 speaks blasphemy. Lindsay deserved that Emmy. No one has even heard of Sada whoever.

She was the wrong choice for Scruples. I disliked her back in the day though I loved Bionic Woman. Thinking back, I have an appreciation for the naturalistic (not the right word but I don’t know how else to describe it) style she brought to her acting.

R13, to my knowledge she never portrayed her own Fembot. Only Richard Anderson (Oscar) and Jennifer Darling (Callahan) did.

I thought she was so great in her debut as Jaime Somers at the time. She immediately made the character very vulnerable, funny, and human.

Of course, she was acting opposite a brick wall (Lee Majors) so one could either argue she had a greater challenge to work with OR that compared to him anyone would’ve come out looking like Katherine Hepburn.

R20 well, technically two brick walls, Richard Anderson had the range of a block of marble.

I’ve followed her career for almost 50 years and am surprised she’s never had a public relationship, to my knowledge, since her 4th marriage ended in 1993. That’s a long time.

I visited Mill Valley when I was in Northern California just because I knew she lived there and had hoped to causally run into her on the street or at the famous gardening store there. “Oh hey Lindsey! I’m just picking up this hoe to take back to NYC!”

I also went to Ojai as ground zero for Jamie Summers, despite its reputation I was very disappointed by Ojai.

R25 what is Ojai, CA like? I’m sure it’s changed since it was the backdrop for BW in 1978.

How bad did Kate want that Emmy? Maybe it would have eased the pain of Kramer vs. Kramer.

'Scruples' mini-series was supposed to be brought back as a night-time soap on the network, but for some reason plans fell through.

Wagner also did a strange episode of 'Kate & Allie' where she portrayed a 'cooking instructor' (IIRC) which was a 'back door pilot' for her own series the following season. It got picked up, and Wagner filmed a few episodes that summer, but then CBS canceled it before it ever premiered that September.

Richard Anderson. He's the male Anne Meara. Stunk up everything he was in but worked nonstop.

R34 I felt he was believable in his role as Oscar Goldman in The Six Million Dollar Man AND The Bionic Woman.

LOL Callahan. I remember her being a family favorite when she was on screen.

There weren’t many challenging dramatic roles for women on TV in the late ‘70s.

I liked her on "Warehouse 13".

I like her but sometimes I can barely understand her when she’s doing her trembling mumbling thing with her voice.

There was something very likeable about her.
