Maybe I'm just dense, but I rewatched Fright Night today for the first time in years, and was surprised by the sheer amount of gay subtext there is in that movie. I don't know if it was done purposefully, or if it's partly because two of the actors (Amanda Bearse and Stephen Geoffreys) are gay, but it's EVERYWHERE.

He was even attractive in "The People Under The Stairs". But only physically. His character was homicidal, oddly childish, and in a relationship with his biological sister, played to horrifying perfection by the AMAZING Wendy Robie. I'd love to meet her.

McGill and Robie were cast in the Craven film due to their work with David Lynch on "Twin Peaks". This movie is so camp, but so horrifying. I love it.
