However, she owns a ferret that she claims gives her the strength to ride the bus. She is upset because Ottawa Transit will no longer allow the ferret to ride the bus with her (They did for a period of time.) The picture was of her and her ferret at the bus stop. It wasn't in a cage, but in her arms. The woman claims the ferret is the same as a guide dog for the blind. However, it can't be trained to "officially" help her as there are no such services available.
