RE: 1970s New York in photos

Really NYC - we love you, we do, but we want you to let go of the past and take charge of things again.

You've become a whore for the money-off- the-market- bubble situation and you just don't have 'it' any more. I want you to have it back, I want 'it' to be worth it.

And, it is just isn't.

RE: Wow...watch the world turn on Israel now...

R121 you fucking douchebag. An "Arab propagandist"??

You proved my point. You've been brainwashed into ignorance.

And why don't you try reading, if you can, Pres Jimmy Carter's book on the subject. There is truth here that has been buried because it does not fit in with the neo-con agenda.

Please don't be a fool. Realize you don't know everything.

RE: Scientology's stand on Epilepsy in Hubbard's own Words.

Enough. Stop trying to blame Travolts for Jett's death. It's just a sad situation. Would you care about this if you didn't suspect Travolta of being a closet case?

I would agree with r2--this is one of the rare years when no one has a lock on any of the top six categories.

So, OP here...

It was about an hour meeting. I got the job, it will probably start sometime in the middle of February to March.

What kills me is that she's had so much work, she has to be airbrushed to look like herself again.

RE: New Yorkers only!

So far the poll shows DLers voting for Kennedy. The fact that she's has no qualifications except that last name proves how gullible DLers are.

RE: Massive photos of Mario Lopez's body

"Only someone really bitter and fat could bitch about something that fine."

Someone needs to get out of his basement and meet some real people. There's nothing interesting or warm about Borio Lopez. He's like a plastic doll with one painted-on expression.

I'm disappointed when certain actors are in something I want to see

Whenever certain actors are in a movie or a Broadway show I see, I feel disappointed and ripped off. They just don't have that star quality I look for -- I'm not getting my money's worth.

Richard Kind

Oliver Platt

And there's one more whose name I can't remember.

What part of average is eluding you, dear. John is a 5" hung bottom with giant chiclet "teeth" who acts like a failed opera star while getting porked.

RE: Ryan Phillippe Voting for Obama/Voting No on Prop 8

I think Ryan would have been happier had he not gotten married at such a young age - Reese and him were not the right match and he will be happier now that he can live his life away from that loveless marriage

1970s New York in photos

Photographer Bruce Barone has a treasure trove of old NYC street life photographs he snapped in the 1970s while working at Hearst magazines.

Not one Sex in the City wannabe to seen anywhere. What a wonderful time.
