Food ''cures'' that really made a difference

There are always articles about superfood things that will create optimal health if we only eat them. However I can only consume so many blueberries a day and don''t feel different when I do. \ \ There are however a few things that have helped me. \ \ I have arthritis...I refused to take prednisone and asked my doc about natural things I could do. She suggested that I add a lot of turmeric, raw garlic, and fresh ginger to my diet. She had read somewhere about India and less symptoms. \ \ I did and we are talking turmeric (fresh when possible) in at least two meals a day. \ \ I am typing 80 wpm much less pain. \ \ Any food cures that have significantly helped you?
