At this point why doesn''t Vin Diesel just come out?
I can see why he was afraid to come out ten years ago, but at this point the leading man roles have dried up and he''s not going to have much more of a career unless he gets some attention. In this he''s sort of like Ricky Martin: Ricky also had a huge career ten years ago that dried up, but when he came out he was embraced by the American gay community. Wouldn''t Diesel be too if he came out?
Do straight guys think he''s gay?.I bet they don''t have a clue.
No, they don''t. Even my little sister thinks Vin Diesel is gay.
Diesel has another 10 years. He is still the most believable action star in Hollywood right now.
Is he still dating Michelle Rodriguez?
People on AboveTopSecret think he''s an MKULTRA operative.
R3 is stuck in the year 2002.
He really made James Bond look wimpy. I am surprised the Bond franchise didn''t toughen up their picks.
He may want to but is under the grip of Hollywood handlers who convince that they know absolutely everything when they know shit.
Perhaps also he doesn''t come out for non-career related reasons, the same that keep many people in the closet - concerns about family, not psychologically ready to deal with the trauma that often happens to us when our families freak out, etc.
Isn''t he still making low-budget sci-fi and action films? %0D\
If so, he''s making movies that appeal to a demographic that''s 100% straight male. If he was doing comedies then it wouldn''t be a big deal, but his handlers are probably afraid of alienting the only audience he has left.
Where has he been? \
I read a rumor that he is only holding out for science fiction films and has turned down offers for so long now that his career is circling the drain.\
It would be great if he and The Rock did an action film together with plenty of Ho Yay.
Thank you r10, no one ever takes that into consideration when asking this question.
Good lord, he is Porky Pig on steroids. Even his NAME is funny. He is a National Lampoon cartoon come to life.
The "My parents are Religious Conservatives and won''t understand" argument is so....... lame. Vin is not 15 years old and dependent on his family.\
Figure Skater, Brian Boitano''s handlers use this excuse. The guy is 50 years old and a millionaire!!!!\
Sorry, don''t buy it.
Everyone takes it into consideration R13. Ansd the conclusion most of us reach is that it''s even more pathetic than doing it for your career.
For what it''s worth, I know he was hitting on a female model pretty hard a VH1 party a few years ago. I know, I was surprised too!
Only because it was a media party. Just dancing for the media R17. The girl was a plant. \
It is common practice to plant females at these profile events, because real girls, would actually want him to go through with it.
If he won''t even admit to being mulatto, whyever would he come out as gay?
Sarah Jane Peola
As for the elephant in the room, how do you guys know he''s gay?
Does anyone even care any more? If he had a viable career, he wouldn''t be making the 16th F&F sequel.
r20, this is a gossip board. Would you like sworn affidavits and DNA evidence?
Not gay but a huge fan of ecstasy.
he''s got seven movies in production... he''s still got a very viable career. he''s not coming out any time soon.
Oh, now I understand: you have no evidence...
Kipper, a long time trusted poster, knew him in Vegas before he was a star and said he was gay and pretty out at the time.
Diesel has three projects in the works: one sequel to Fast and Furious, one sequel to XXX and one which is voice only.\
The guy''s, what, mid 40s? He''s going nowhere but down.
Well then r26, did Kipper say if Vin is a bottom, top or versatile?
As Vin Diesel is deeply closeted while in public, he is likely a bottom. Most "tough guy" closet cases are. Same goes with Princess Cruise.
Gay guy here. Vin Diesel has never pinged to me and I''ve never heard even my friends question the guy''s sexuality. I live in Manhattan and I know here''s here a lot so it seems like there would have been some street gossip.\
So, where are you bitches getting the "Vin Diesel Is Gay" thing? Did he do/say something I missed? I admit I don''t see many of his films but when I''ve seen him interviewed, nothing about the man reads as gay.
Kipper''s a woman. So I don''t think she knew or would have dug for the details.
That''s right: we have no "evidence." We also have no "evidence" Richard Simmons is gay, for that matter.
I think they do, R1, a few years ago my DAD said he''d heard the rumor. (Keep the jokes to yourself, please.)
Well, let''s see....he worked as a bouncer in a gay bar in the Village before he became a star, he prefers to "date in Europe," and had a "relationship" with Michelle Rodriguez. And he pings to high heaven in interviews. Certainly not proof, but as convincing as any of the other guys we dish about on here.
I remember reading some feature/interview on Vin Diesel around ''98 when he was just on cusp of establishing himself as a mainstream actor. Even just reading his words in print left me with the impression that he must be gay.
R19 Beat me to it!! The guy won''t even admit his father is black. How the hell is he going to admit he likes dick?? Not going to happen.
[quote] Certainly not proof, but as convincing as any of the other guys we dish about on here.\
Uhm, no. No, it isn''t "convincing". Maybe the guy IS gay, but there is absolutely no evidence, much less "convincing" evidence the guy is gay.
Good lord, who CARES? He looks like a ball point pen, for chrissakes. With muscles. Make that a BALD point pen.
First Jake G, now Vin, both are straight and only dates women.
I honestly don''t think coming out is every gay man''s shangri la.\
It probably SHOULD be, and it''s always talked of as such by those of us who are out, but I think many don''t see it as the momentous, incredible thing which it certainly CAN be.\
So, we get all these posts about why this or that person should come out now, assuming that the attraction and benefit is so great that, but for some direct reason (leading man roles in the case of Vin Diesel), ever gay man will naturally want to come out.\
Again, I''d personally argue coming out vs. not coming out, but I think there''s a lot of people who aren''t as moved.
He''s been embraced by the gay community plenty of times.
[quote]Oh, now I understand: you have no evidence...\
He dick tastes like shit, so we can''t acquit.
If any guy is 100% straight it Vin Diesel.
He had a baby recently with a Mexican model. I think he lives full time in the DR now and has dropped out of the Hollywood scene by choice.
Even ''mad TV" mocked Vin''s sexuality almost a decade ago with the "XXX" parody. The comedian played Vin like a true closet case who was so clumsy and awful kissing Asia Argento, she frantically tried to climb out of the car window.
And then there was that interview where he gushed on and on about Judi Dench. Just like any other heterosexual male under the age of 70 would.%0D\
I''m sure he and "Denchie" got around to some suprise anal action when he insisted she be cast in his next movie, which was the sequel to Pitch Black.%0D\
(The surprise was all Dame Judi''s when she received Vin''s gift of a dozen strap-ons).
Wasn''t there a blind item around the year 2000 about a then up-and-coming actor trolling California desert town truck stops for sex? A lot of people at the time speculated it was about VD.
I don't know why you people operate under the belief that anyone in Hollywood has anything to gain by coming out.
Vin wants to be an action star and make money, not be a professional gay on the GLAAD circuit, which is the only career option for most people who come out anyways.
[quote]At this point why doesn't Vin Diesel just come out?
For what? Publicity stunt?
Two more Fast and Furious sequels were just greenlit, so don't expect to see him coming out anytime soon.
AMEN R64. Some of these girls here, really really need some mascot to march for them. STFU. Don't look for anything outside of you to make you feel that you are acceptable. It's so stupid how you wan't these celebs to validate your own sexuality. Live you life. Stop projecting girls. I would do the same thing. If you want to help somebody that's gay etc, start with you. Then reach out to local center LGBT and mentor etc. Stop with these mindless celebs marching for your insecurities. Own it. Move on.
[quote]Vin wants to be an action star and make money, not be a professional gay on the GLAAD circuit, which is the only career option for most people who come out anyways.
I totally see where Vin is coming from!
Aside from doing movies when we he wants. Seems content with his girl and baby. I don't know if he's gay. Gay males have been lusting for him for years. He also dated some other women besides Michelle Rodriguez. He never really dated Michelle more like screwed. I thought. Anyhow, what on earth made OP start this random thread about Vin coming out. Has he been interviewed lately or been in the media ??? Girl Bye !
Huge mushroomy head; voluminous ejaculations.
R69 and others--you do realize that some dope bumped this thread from a year ago right?
"It's so stupid how you wan't these celebs to validate your own sexuality."
Oh, honey--as if! Maybe that's why YOU need someone to be straight or gay, but I sure as hell don't need validation from some cowardly closet case.
r72, cowardly or smart business man!
r34, in what gay bar was Vin a bouncer?
Everyone at TMZ laughed like hell when Vin couldn't back his SUV out of a parking space.
Yawn R67. It's funny how you try to take a celebrity being too cowardly to be honest about who they are and try to attack the general public about it.
I am out and happy in my life. I think it is quite sad that celebrities still live their lives in a way as if there is something shameful about being gay. Wanting them to not be ashamed of being gay is not looking for validation, I don't know where you pulled that out of your ass.
r76, why do you care what others do? Mind your own gay business! Happy people, truly happy people, don't care what others do. You aint happy r76.
[quote]Everyone at TMZ laughed like hell when Vin couldn't back his SUV out of a parking space.
i think u need to just come out after reading all the thoughts that u posted about vin diesel.... paloma jimenez an they been together for over seven years and share a little girl together... so get a life you loser before i start a blog about your fagit ass
Is English your second language R79?
[quote]Vin wants to be an action star and make money,
As Walt Disney once said to PL Travers: "That ship has sailed, Pamela."
no loser im from cincinnati i speak only real
and it is what it is when a man judges another man thats some fag shit so get off his dick u bottom boy
We know because he wasn't hiding his sexuality when he was a gay club door-guy. All of NYC club-goers of a certain age remember Mark Vincent, although i think I was using Vin Diesel then.
If you don't come out before you're 25, no one's gonna be interested.
Dig Queen Kong at R79/82. U here because you thought DL meant down-low?
I thought he had 3 kids now (not that that has anything to do with his being gay or not)
[quote]Wasn't there a blind item around the year 2000 about a then up-and-coming actor trolling California desert town truck stops for sex?
Yes, it pointed right to him. OTOH, we don't know if the BI text was real or someone's fiction.
Who is Vin Diesel? Is he a porn star?
He loved my uncut funk.
Let's face it, though - everyone loves uncut funk.
Vin's acting in Fast & Furious 6 was cringeworthy at times. And he's not as hot anymore. What a shame. Now, The Rock looked smokin though.
Vin diesel is not gay i love him & he loves me too!! Lol
I couldn't give a shit less if he comes out or doesn't come out as long as he cums in my ass.
He has a new Riddick movie coming out and the Fast and Furious franchise is, inexplicably, strong as ever.
So it looks like that closet will now be made of reinforced steel....
VD, like many dudes, does not gay identity is compatible with a masculine or manly identity. He probably thinks of himself as too masculine, too mainstream to be considered gay.
This is a guy who can't even accept his race, lest he lose out on a part as was pointed out in thread 3 years ago.
"in what gay bar was Vin a bouncer?"
Mars. Promoter Chip Duckett knows the dirt, but won't tell.
I dated a guy who told me he had a quickie with "that hottie doorman Mark Vincent."
He's not on Facebook, so I can't track him down for re-confirmation.
He should do porn
What, after his people spent all that money to get certain archived issues of the now defunct HX Magazine that included him in his gay club bouncer days?
R97, Mars Bar in the east village? that's the gay club the was guarding the door at? That's a gay bar? I had no idea, i just thought it was a dive bar, really shitty. Or is there a Mars gay club somewhere else?
I will never forget the interview David Letterman did with him - David acted VERY strangely with him and kept baiting him with insinuations of hypocrisy. Vin never did his show again.
No, not Mars Bar; the old Mars on the West Side highway; a four-floor nightclub.
It was not gay every night, but several nights, especially among the ACT UP set. We used to go after a demo and Chip would give us free beers if we took our shirts off.
Ah, to be young again!
Grow up, 20...this isn't high school.
he is not gay
Kipper said he's gay. I believe Kipper. She had no reason to make it up.
He's involved in an immigration scam with his Mexican beard/surrogate. Coming out means admitting to defrauding the federal govt.
R106 Wow, where did you get that from?
Why would you think he's gay? Because he has muscles? Because you want him? what is it?
He has extremely pronounced gayvoice that he struggles to suppress publicly.
He us adopting the wentworth miller business model:
1. Say you value your privacy until you have made enough money to retire on from pretending to be straight
2. Once you have made enough money pretending to be straight, randomly come out and support the gay community from the security of a letter written from the safety of your arm chair
3. Ignore the members of the gay community who remember your lies
4. Appease the more gulliable members of the gay community with stories of the gay struggle you experienced and how lonely you were, yet curiously were more than willing to stay in closet as you were already aware of how the industry worked (having worked in it for years) and happy to sell out and play the game
5. Watch out for the 'fuck you' troll who does not like anything critcal being said about hyprocrital members of the gay community..
He could always take the 'easy' way out and say he's bi. Tell a half-lie. That way his straight relationships are legit and he doesn't alienate the straight fanbase completely. Of course, I would rather actors were honest about their sexuality, but I'm not the one hiring them, so I have no right to tell them to come out.
[quote]He could always take the 'easy' way out and say he's bi. Tell a half-lie. That way his straight relationships are legit and he doesn't alienate the straight fanbase completely.
I know, right?
He is straight, that is why, OP
I love Vin Diesel. He's starting to look more and more like a biracial Shrek every year he gets older but he was hot as hell during the Pitch Black/F&F 1 era.
That said, I didn't believe he was gay until I saw him on a talk show recently promoting Riddick. That voice...he kept it straight for the most part but at some points, I thought to myself, "Vin, honey, just tell us truth. We all know it already, but still."
I'm a middle-aged straight woman and have vivid memories of stumbling across Datalounge ten years ago when I was googling Vin Diesel who I had just seen in "The Boiler Room." I found a post by some guy who claimed to be a Ford model. He said that Diesel was a "bossy butch bottom" who only liked blonds. Someone else piped up that he had had sex with Diesel in his bouncer days and that Diesel was out back then.
Works for me.
I remember years ago seeing Vin on TV discussing the Broadway version of Dreamgirls. I thought gay gay gay.
Just saw Pitch Black again. VD was really, really hot back then. He is a shadow of his former hotness now.
I had never really seen a Vin Diesel movie and then was stuck in a convntion hotel room (why do they never have TCM?) and found "The Pacifier" on some cable channel. While it will never make anyone's top ten list, I thought he was kind of adorable in it, and the voice seemed very sweetly gay (I like gayish-sounding voices on men--so sue me). He seemed immensely likable.
Does he wax his fuckhole?
He's straight. Or at least definitely into women and has dated many models. I used to work in fashion, knew a few models he'd dated. my guess is that by the time Diesel learned about the rumors, he was already a superstar and saw no upside in correcting the falsehood by flaunting his lovelife...although he has answered questions about it in a very gay friendly way. If he were actually gay, he probably would have needed to pretend to be straight.
There was a really popular urban myth that he'd come out on the Tonight Show back before people could watch streaming video on the internet and checked out that it wasn't true.
Mars wasnt a gay club, it was "mixed" / friendly. Over by west side highway. Too young back then to remember doorman or much else. Mars bar on 1/1st was dirty straight dive, totally different place
Vin isn't gay, OP.
I know this because my father in law's cousin, knows some people, who knows a plumber, who knows a garbage man, who knows a chef, who has a sister, who knows some Hollywood people, who told her he's straight!
r125, that's ridiculous. He dates models, but we've just never seen him do it???
He is definitely into women. Not gay
Oh dear, did Vin's PR team decide to do a an internet cleanse?
All of a sudden several posts in a row in this old ass thread claiming his sparkling heterosexuality.
There have been intense and constant gay rumors about Vin since he was a nobody, when there is smoke, there is usually fire.
He's gay and has fucked Bel Ami studs.
[quote]where there is smoke, there is usually fire.
You're not talking about Vin's unrequited lust for Paul Walker again, are you R130?
There's plenty of movie stars who keep their lives private until they legally marry (which is a dumb thing for a super rich actor/actress to do unless they are marrying someone of equal net worth) or have kids and their names are on birth certificates.
If you were world famous and managed to get away with having a private life without it impacting your career, why would you decide to change that and start talking about it?
[quote]Oh dear, did Vin's PR team decide to do a an internet cleanse?
It sure looks like that's what happened.
Any time an actor dates a model, the actor is usually gay.
He is hetero
Has nobody seen the video he took of himself dancing and singing along to Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love"?
He had a relationship with that blond guy who used to be engaged to Kyan Queer Eye once.
It's no PR team. It's fan girls and closeted dude-fans who've been Googling their idol. They wound up here and now feel compelled to defend him.
Doorman at Mars doesn't really prove much. As noted above, Mars was a straight club on the west side that had gay nights (Thursdays and Sundays). "Mars Needs Men" was the ad slogan.
That photo of him posing very happily with Sebastian Bonnet does not suggest that VD is closeted. A straight man who is comfortable with his sexuality and doesn't care what rumors fly around would have taken that shot, but a closeted movie star wouldn't have attended whatever event that was for a million dollars.
