Poet and I don''t know it
He wasn''t faster than a speeding bullet.
Professional hit by Vivien Leigh from a long-held grudge from when as Stuart Tarleton, Reeves keep getting in her key light for her opening shot in GWTW.
The rapier wits of Datalounge are extra sharp tonight I see.
Suicide, at his gf''s urging.
His hair was dyed red to play a Tarleton twin.
The movie "Hollywoodland" with Adrien Brody and Ben Affleck is based on this incident.
A false story has circulated that Reeves auditioned for the role of Samson in 'Samson and Delilah' but lost the role to Victor Mature. Reeves was never under consideration for the role of Samson. However, he was given a role as the Wounded Messenger at the recommendation of Mature, who was very loyal to his friends from his student days at the Pasadena Community Playhouse. Many of the smaller roles in Samson and Delilah (1949) were played by Mature's friends from Pasadena.
His cinema career never really took flight into the A-list. Some hope glimmered when he landed a part in the war drama 'So Proudly We Hail!' in 1943. Director Mark Sandrich promised to make him a star, but Sandrich died shortly after of heart failure.
R14 - Right, and the movie plays three or four different ways George Reeves could have died.
Just caught an I LOVE LUCY episode with him. He was hot. Definitely the...beefiest...Superman.
Murder. It's time to reopen the case.
Reeves hated Lucy, he said she was odd, weird and preverted.
He was found buck naked and dead, laying back on his bed with his feet still on the floor. If it wasn't for the dead thing, that would've been a hot situation.
R24 Uses the term "buck naked", I have also seen "butt naked" which one is correct.
r25 Buck. Naked as a male deer, who are notorious nudists.
Don't know but I loved the Hollywoodland movie that presented many alternatives.

Not if I have my way R26. My "Depends Deer" product is in development now.
My other OMMs support me completely.
Back to Reeves - hot piece of ass - murdered by loony chick.
His Superman outfit didn't show one hint of bulge. It was a time that even a hint of VPL would likely not have been allowed on TV, but I'm wondering how they managed to "neuter" him in that outfit. Was it tucked and/or strapped down with double-stick tape or what?
Lots of tape and materials to create a flat look, George was well hung.
He looked like the type who was well hung. I would have been more than happy to help him get out of that uniform.
