I always thought that Justin Kirk (the adorable Andy on Weeds) was a gay acting straight man. I also thought he was married. Now I find out he is single, which makes me think that my pinging gaydar might be right. Any info?
Yes, he has a nice, cut dick that can be seen in the opening scenes of "Angels in America."
His only public girlfriend that I''ve ever heard of was Kate Walsh.......nuff said.
Is that him playing Mitchell''s boss on Modern Family?
That''s what I love about DL: everyone''s gay until proven otherwise.\
I mean, I think so too, don''t get me wrong.
He did an interview in the Advocate years ago where he denied it and said he''s metrosexual, or something to that effect, and conceded he''s never been good in relationships with women.\
He also dated Mary Louise Parker, if I recall, after the Crudup breakup.
No, no, he''s openly gay now. My friend saw him with that gray-haired guy on Mad Men at some comedy club in LA doing a routine together and Justin is open about it now. The gray haired guy isn''t gay - they were just doing a routine together.
FWIW, I have a friend, aminor one-time TV series regular, who went to Circle in the Square with him and says he''s straight. Or at least was then.
With John Slattery, R6? Because your friend "saw" him there?\
I can''t tell you how many gay gasps followed by a sighting turn out not to be the person they claim.\
Give us a link, a photo, something.\
Otherwise, his public interviews are his statements that he''s not gay. He may be closeted, but that is not "openly gay."
He checked me out a year or two ago. I''m a chick.
I''ll find it, R8. There''s no photo. Maybe there''s an ad for the show.
he may have just thought you were ugly r9....us gays do that to women ya know..."Yikes! look at that!"
He never dated Mary-Louise Parker.
R6, where does it say that Justin Kirk is "openly gay now"?
The actor who played Denny on Gray''s Anatomy was the relationship ML Parker had after Crudup.
Every single guy is gay on DL
I thought it was pretty well established that Kirk was straight back during Angels in America. I don''t remember the details but there was obviously a lot of interest because his Pryor Walter was so terrific.
Maybe it was just tabloid gossip, but it was out there that they were dating. He took her to a couple of award shows as his "date" so technically....
He''s also naked in "Love, Valour, Compassion"\
He''s not nearly as attractive now that he''s middle-aged as he was when he was younger.
He''s not middle aged. He''s only 40.
Middle age starts at 35. Are you 40?
He''s not fooling anyone. He is definitely gay, maybe not publicly. I know for fact that he has long time partner. They even had a baby with surrogate mother about 2 years ago.
Saw his cock on Broadway in "Love, Valour, Compassion." He played the blind guy. Liked his cock. What I didn''t like was watching Mario Cantone who had replaced Nathan Lane.
He''s 41 - born in 1969. He''ll be 42 next May. Just when do you think middle age starts, r22?
he''s bffs with Mary-Louise...there is a difference.
I don''t care what he is - he''s sex on a stick.
Justin Kirk was Jenna Fischer''s first husband.%0D\
Remember that Patrick Wilson was gay in A in A also as the uptight husband of ML Parker.
It''s hard to believe they would cast someone straight in the important Kirk role in Angels. You guys may disagree, but I''ve yet to buy a straight guy playing gay. Other way around, yes; they have a lifetime of practice.
he's gay kids. my ex (a male), dated him briefly in the 90's before he was famous.
After watching him in AiA, I thought if he wasn't gay, he should be, and that his performance was one of the best acting I had seen in years (joined with Jeffrey Wright). After the acting wasteland of the late 90s, I was mesmerized.
Also, Jenna Fischer's first husband was Lee Kirk, not Justin.
He has consistently claimed to be straight. But he definitely cruised me on the way in to LVC many years ago.
and I'm an average looking guy
He seems to be the go-to boy for nudity. I saw him twice during the run of "Love, Valour," and if he isn't gay, the Academy should give him a Lifetime Achievement Award right now.
(Love his penis, too.)
I disagree, R21. I think he looks hotter now.
Was there ANYONE in the original cast of "Love! Valour! Compassion!" that wasn't gay?
Jenna Fischer's current husband is Lee Kirk. Her first husband was James Gunn.

All the guys in the film version of Angels were straight.
He's straight. I loved the film version of Angels in America but thought he was the weakest casting by far, and Ben Shenkman was pretty weak. He was totally unbelievable as a drag queen. Not anywhere close. He certainly didn't equal Spinella's performance.
First saw him in LVC on Broadway and thought he was totally hot. Later met him through mutual actor acquaintances and he didn't ping at all and introduced me to his gf at the time. Stayed in touch with him as we ran into each other frequently (as recently as six months ago) at Equinox.
Never once got a gay vibe, and I don't think he plays gay particularly well either. He never dated MLP, they're good friends. She dated her dead husband on "Weeds", Jeffrey something after leaving Crudup. Crudup... Now there's someone who pings.
r39---how'd he look without his toupee?
I knew him back in New York during and after his Circle in the Square days. He was straight then, and worked for a while at a porno shop on the west side. He was a 'notorious pussyhound' back in the day but most of his buddies were gay and while I suppose it's possible he's gay now I just always thought he was very comfortable with his and other peoples' sexuality.
What's the deal with him growing up on a rez?
He quite frequently wears a hat to workout r40. He's actually not that bald, just thinning. I would imagine he has to wear a toupee to make the hair not look thin under the lights and in front of the camera.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
