I always thought that Justin Kirk (the adorable Andy on Weeds) was a gay acting straight man. I also thought he was married. Now I find out he is single, which makes me think that my pinging gaydar might be right. Any info?

• After watching him in AiA, I thought if he wasn't gay, he should be, and that his performance was one of the best acting I had seen in years (joined with Jeffrey Wright). After the acting wasteland of the late 90s, I was mesmerized. Also, Jenna Fischer's first husband was Lee Kirk, not Justin.

• He's straight. I loved the film version of Angels in America but thought he was the weakest casting by far, and Ben Shenkman was pretty weak. He was totally unbelievable as a drag queen. Not anywhere close. He certainly didn't equal Spinella's performance. First saw him in LVC on Broadway and thought he was totally hot. Later met him through mutual actor acquaintances and he didn't ping at all and introduced me to his gf at the time.
