Why does Portia have memory loss about her relationships pre Ellen? In the book she discusses her eating disorder pre Ellen. Has she ever talked about her exes? I ask due to the fact I''m new to paying any kind of attention to Portia and I''m nosy. Who has she dated before Ellen and why did they break up?

I''m no expert on Portia, but I would think she doesn''t bring up her exes because they have no relevance to her current/present life.

i read the book. she mentions francesca at the very end (i think in the epilogue actually). says they were introduced by a mutual friend, immediately entered into a 2 year relationship. says francesca taught her how to be in a relationship, was very loving and patient with her. sounds like PDR still had eating disorder shit going on while they were together. she mentions how francesca could eat whatever she wanted and stay skinny and it made PDR crazy. also mentions the francesca''s mother introduced her to the joy of riding horses in the english countryside.\ \ i think of ellen dumps portia, portia might kill herself. she seems so completely dependent on her.

Ellen represents Cover Girl cosmetics, a company that still conducts horrible experiments on animals. She is a Hypocrite and I too believe that this is a doomed pairing. They are legally married with no pre-nup and Portia will take off some day and take the cash with her. One thing I can't stand is the foolish puppy dog pout and teary eyes Ellen puts on when she is talking about Portia. not attractive, downright stupid.
