You knowingly joined that family, so your IQ is suspect too.
This thread is absolutely useless without pics.
Duh, can I put my pee pee in your va-china?!
Mother-in-law from hell
And a husband from an after school special!
Of course she is taking his name. That was understood from their first date.
You should have honeymooned at Grey Gardens.
Ouch! at this WaPo commenter:%0D\
[quote]How frightening to think that Sally Quinn''s spawn may procreate. %0D\
Clues point to the fact that the apple may be falling not far from the tree. Used yoga instructor beguiles nerd 5 years younger, hmmmm, they say boys marry their mother.%0D\
Once the Quinn reinvention machine gears up the yoga instructor will not too subtly probably morph into a renowned fitness expert and spiritual leader and commentator. %0D\
"The wedding of Sally Quinn and Ben Bradlee''s son, Quinn Bradlee, to Georgetown yoga instructor Pary Williamson has been moved up by six months, from October to April 10.\
"We found out that we have a little one coming on the way and Pary didn''t want to be a big mama walking down the aisle," the father-to-be told me by phone from La Sammana, the posh Caribbean resort on St. Martins, where the four are on vacation. Asked if he''s excited by the prospect of fatherhood, Quinn said, "I am, very much so." The wedding will be held at the Washington National Cathedral."\
Wait, What? She was pregnant before they got married???
What a bitch!!!
The new date has caused some family friction because it's the same day as the long-planned California wedding of lawyer Greta Bradlee, who very much hoped her grandfather would be there. Ben's firstborn grandchild (he has 10) and the first to marry, she is the daughter of journalist and author Ben Bradlee Jr. of Cambridge, Mass., and his former wife, Washington-based ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz. Ben Jr. is the oldest of the three children the longtime executive editor of the Washington Post sired during his two pre-Sally marriages.
The parents of the bride declined to comment on any aspect of the dueling weddings, but other sources told me there was no advance word from Sally about the scheduling change, nor any explanation provided as to why she had settled on a date for her son's ceremony that will prevent her husband from attending his granddaughter's wedding in California.
I do know, however, that Sally has some experience in wrangling wedding guests away from a competing event.
How in God''s name did he manage to impregnate her? Is it even his? And why did they choose THAT particular date to get married - did her father hold a shotgun to his head?
This is getting juicy
Which is the one in the family that married the black guy?
loves other people''s family drama
R17, Quinn''s mother KNEW another important wedding was taking place that day, so of course she butt in and made sure her son''s wedding would be the same day and cause a conflict. The other wedding was that of her husband''s firstborn grandchild. How fucked up is that?? Ben (the dad) is a pussy for not stepping in and putting his foot down.\
The whole article is linked at R15.

Duh. How else do you think they got Sally to sign off on it?
What are the percentages of their spawn getting Quinn''s affliction?
Doesn''t Sally Quinn & her husband own Grey Gardens? If so, I''m surprised a GG wedding wasn''t called for.
sally = cunt

Well, that didn''t happen.
Is he really retarded?
I AM NOT RETARDED!
Taffy Quinn Davenport-Bradlee
He has 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.
Maybe I am out of the loop, but who are these people??
Just read all about dear Sal on wiki and can''t believe what cunt this harpie is. She''s squarely in the league of our lovely Ms. Coulter.
Where do these cunts come from?
Is he retarded or not? WTF is that woman doing marrying him? Jesus, the kid might come out like Sarah Palin''s....good times
R28, this kind of drama falls under "DC gossip." It usually involves mediocre-looking, egotistical, childish media-types who make politicians look respectable and humble.\
R19, Ben is just really, really old. He''s probably too tired to argue. Sally is loathsome, but I genuinely feel sorry for her son.
There must be aDC insider who can tell us -- is he retarded or not?%0D\
And I don''t care what genetic syndrome he has. Just this -- tard or no tard?
That poor girl.%0D\
Having Sally Quinn --one of the more despicable people around --as her mother-in-law.%0D\
Sally is not only a snob. But really, really dumb%0D\

Autism... somewhere along what they know call the Autism "spectrum"
He admittedly has developmental disabilities but he seems bright enough. He seems to have been terribly coddled that he couldn't see that there might be some humor and even benefit that students with special needs were able to tease each other like kids without special needs do in the regular course of growing up. Perhaps he saw real cruelty rather than nirmal childhood ribbing but it motivated him to write a book about himself. Mind you, not about others but about himself. Whatever. Sally Quinn was always a vain and superficial being. I imagine she took not having a perfect child hard and some of her "protection" of Quinn was in reallity a protection of herself.%0D
I was really annoyed with Rose - even more so than I usually am - that he first addressed Ben and Sally as if Quinn was not there. Ignoring the entire point of his book. He is such a suck up. It was not until Quinn interjected a comment that Charlie turned to him and acknowledged his presence.%0D
I think it goes without saying that it is only natural to be cynical about the bride. Life is usually the way it seems as are people. Quinn will learn and benefit from this marriage even if it ends in heartbreak.
They didn''t actually get married until October though, right? That''s what this pro-Sally article implies:
