Mark Foster is pretty certainly gay. Apart from not a wiff of heteo interest across nearly 2 decades of being a pro swimmer, there's the long-term association with Colin Jackson. After he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing (the UK original of Dancing with the Stars), he was papped on holiday to the gay Mecca of Gran Canaria with the two Strictly gay pros, Ian Waite and Matthew Cutler. There was a funny exchange this morning on the BBC Olympic swimming coverage, where Foster and Ian Thorpe are the main pundits. Thorpe joked about Foster's swimming, and Foster mock-complained back 'He's wearing my T-shirt - Clare (out Lesbo Clare Balding, who anchors the swimming coverage), take my shirt off him!'. Why is clothes designer and fashion-plate Ian Thorpe wearing Mark Foster's clothes?
I don't know if it's the 'classic' Anti-Brit Troll, but if it is, they're American, and obsessed with Britain (and the rest of Europe) being overrun with "Muzzies" who are moments away from inflicting Sharia law on the entire world, minus brave freedom-loving America, of course. My friend saw Colin Jackson and Mark Foster together in Brighton a few days ago.
I served with Kelly in York and I can confirm that she is indeed gay, though I have no idea why this should matter? She was a fine soldier, good friend and amazing athlete.

A friend of a friend of mine who knows stuff has confirmed that Jackson and Foster are an item (well, they were at the time of the recent Olympics, when he told her this).
Seems strange to a lot of people that Colin isn't out and said that he wasn't gay since it seems obvious. The UK is increasingly gay friendly and he does commenting for the BBC which would have no problem with it.
