That was beautifully written and completely accurate. Cary was a rock star and a gentlemen. Nobody took any pleasure in his downfall or the pain he caused himself and those who loved him. I used to tell him that people did drugs to pretend that they were as special as he was. His problem stemmed from his inability to accept himself, and the pressure put on him by his family and ultimately by himself. He was truly bisexual and loved others almost as much he was loved back. His problem was that he never quite believed it.
