I love his cd - no idea why he didn''t take off...
He is not bad looking but his music was lame. You have to have a base product. Saying I''m gay doesn''t make up for that.
Dance music acts like him never become big in the US but usually have a decent success in Europe.
#3, he came out? really ? I seem to recall even Perez who pushed the hell out of him on site a couple of years ago was embarassed when Mika said that he''s straight.
on HIS site ...
Speaking of Mikas...\
What happened to that funny thread about Mika Brzezinski''s eating habits? She''s hosting some show on MSNBC about obesity.
He''s frighteningly hungry.
That makes sense. A woman with an eating disorder hosting a show about obesity.
The songs I''ve heard, I didn''t care for them at all. Just not my cup of tea. And as someone else noted, gay isn''t the only qualifier for giving up my money. I''ll give above and beyond for the gay artists that I like, but I just didn''t like Mika.
Mika never said he was gay, he came out as bi. I really enjoyed his first cd.
He was WAAAAY too much like the Scissor Sisters, who also fizzled out about the same time.
Is he trying to make it again? I just heard his "Popular Song"; it was odd to hear him adopt such a teenybopper sound.
He didn't happen for a year or two, in Europe.
I saw him live, for free, in Bastille to celebrate marriage equality in France.
Don't know who paid for that.
Still handsome (with gayface) at 29. He's lost the baby fat.
If he could act then I think he could play Mercury in that Queen flick Borat bailed on. He could obviously do
I liked Mika when he tried to hit the US because he can sing really well and can also play the piano. Anything beats those Justin Bieber types on that end, you know.
I want to like him, but his music just doesn't do it for me.
