Does anyone know who Jane Fonda''s plastic surgeon is?
Her face is spectacular but she does hide her ears. I wonder if they didn''t do as well as her flawless face?
- Too far back on her head now or scars behind and underneath her ears?
- Of she has one more facelift she''ll be wearing her bush as a goatee
- I saw an interview tonight, and she said she''s writing a book about aging and she talked about her plastic surgery. She said she had her eyes done bcz she didn''t want bags. She''s also releasing new exercise tapes in November, I think. %0D\

She''s 72. I think her secret is that she didn''t have a lot of work done. Overdone, I should say. She looks very good, not overly ridiculous. %0D\

When people age, they need to be realistic about their plastic surgery options. If you''re 50, and you want to look like you did at 25, you''re stupid. She hasn''t had a lot of crap done. No botox or collagen injections. She looks just like herself!%0D\

I think the main thing to do is vitamins, exercise, and eat right. Hydrate.
- Madonna hids her right her most of the time. I think hiding some plastic surgery scars.
- She posted the guy''s name somewhere in her blog. I''m too lazy to search for it.
- Madonna looks bad for her age, 51, compared to Fonda at 72. Madonna looks waxen.
- I don''t think she looks like herself at all.%0D\

Her extensive face lift about a year ago completely destroyed her persona - she no longer looks like Jane Fonda at all.
- This explains a couple of reasons that stars might hide their ears.

- She looks like Lily Tomlin.
- Loretta Young''s baby always wore a hat with flaps so we wouldn''t see Clark Gabel''s ears.
- Jane Fonda has always been honest about the work she has had done. %0D\

I must say, though, that she should have quit while she was ahead. %0D\

The woman scared me on Entertainment Tonight last night. All that was truly Jane Fonda was that voice of hers. Everything else looked really off.
- That''s because her ears are now meet on the back of her head.%0D\

Looks like a flesh colored butterfly.
- I thought she looked fantastic here. This was before the last round of surgery.

- Fonda''s face looks unnatural; gaunt and drawn.%0D\
%0D\
She''s had more than one facelift. She''s has several surgeries. It''s obvious that she had.%0D\

She even had breast implants. I think she had them removed later, but talk about hypocrisy! She goes on and on about how women should take charge of their lives and accept and empowere themselves when she herself has been an asswipe for men her whole life, and even had her tits pumped up to be more attractive to them.
- She looked good on ET last night, but I think she''s also had botox.
- Here is Jane Fonda''s new face.%0D\

She looks nothing like herself.%0D\

- She looks amazing, to look like that at 72, and its nice she was honest about it, gives u hope when you get up there in age.
- I may have missed the latest plastic surgery. About a year ago Fonda looked like age 42, not age 72, but not in a good way. It may been very good plastic surgery, but it was directly against what she was talking about..female empowerment.
- I can''t move my fucking face! I can''t feel my ears!
Jane
- She looks like herself again.

- why does female empowerment contradict wanting to look good? men have face lifts too.
- poor Jane, with all her soul searching and books and all she still seems like a nervous wreck.
- She looks great for 72. In fact, she looks better than Madonna and that''s because Jane has always been a natural beauty.\
\
What''s wrong with looking good at her age? She''s been good about not going overboard with the plastic surgery like Rivers and not let herself go like Bardot.
- The ears is where they hide the old face. You should see it uncovered. Yikes!
- r20 love the green gown!
- First, born on December ''37, Fonda is 73.\

When Elizabeth Taylor made her last appearance on the Golden Globes I remember thinking why would she want to look like a 40 year old cleaning lady instead of a the 70 year old movie legend she really was. The same goes with Fonda. She definitely looks young, but like a generic, uninteresting, skeletal Jane Fonda lookalike.
- Gregory Mueller in Beverly Hills.

Right. And when you get old?
- I think she looks good for 72, though sort of like every other woman of her age in LA. I''m sure up close her work is MUCH more obvious, not to mention under the layers of makeup she''s shellacked on! But here''s the thing, if she looked natural, like Henry Fonda with a bigger hairdo, nobody would wanna see her...she needs the plastic surgeon!

-
her plastic surgeon?
\
\
She has several. Her best is Mr Adobe Photoshop. \
\
She''s also a semi-cripple due to all the high impact exercise screwing up her joints.

Madonna doesn''t have an ounce of fat on her body. Her face skin hangs right off her bones. In a few years she will look like Eunice Shriver. I met Jane Fonda just a few years ago and in person she was stunning. Yeah she had lines around her gorgeous eyes, but she was truly beautiful. She just spent an hour on Joy Behar''s show last week in HD and she looked great.
- IT''S NOT ABOUT SCARS, it''s about how the surgeon sews the ears back on crooked.
- Her body is the instrument for her considerable acting talent. She''s erased all the camera from her face. She can only do Monster In Law fluff from now on.
- I had Jane on a flight about 25 years ago when she was still married to Tom Hayden. She was sitting in coach because this particular aircraft had no first class cabin. When I came to pick up her tray she had eaten her entree as well as Tom''s and it looked as though whe had used the bread to wipe up all the brown "mystery gravy" which surprised me since this was during her "Jane Fonda Workout" days. She may have thrown it all up in the lav...
Lou the Stew
- She''s erased all the character from her face.

- Honestly, I think she looks great.
- I''ll tell you what, the first Dr. to come up with a treatment for the hands will be a gazillionaire.%0D\
%0D\
The hands always are the giveaway...
- I saw Jane on Joy Behar''s nighttime show last week. Jane looks fantastic. Yes, she''s probably has surgery, but man, she looks good.
- She''s very lined. Face lifts don''t fix that. Lines probably because of her weight or lack of.
- **BREAKING NEWS**%0D\

She just had a touch-up.

- I think she looks absolutely fabulous! I applaud her decision to tell the world. Plenty of us older women color our hair so we don't look look like our husbands' mothers, and I see nothing wrong with trying to look your best. Go, Jane! Those of your busy liking for "scars" need to get a life!
- "Plenty of us older women color our hair so we don't look look like our husbands' mothers, and I see nothing wrong with trying to look your best"
You can't compare hair coloring with multiple surgeries. Surgery kind of goes beyond "trying to look your best." Surgery implies an attempt to hang onto youth at all costs. Fonda has always had body issues and was anorexic and bulemic for a long time. All her surgeries indicate she's desperately trying to remain a hot, sexy babe no matter what age she is. She's like Madonna in that regard. She wants people to still think of her as a sex symbol, even though she's a senior citizen.
- Listen people everyone likes to critize but if you know the real story of Jane you know that she suffered for many years from anorexia and bullimia as well as poor self esteem. She lost her Mother at a very young age and even though her father was the late great Henry Fonda that we all loved to watch in old classic movies he was critical and unable to show any real affection for his daughter which was not uncommon in those days. Jane states in her early interviews that she spent her entire life trying to please him. These women who are in the camera's eye aren't allowed to age gracefully and are critisized for every little imperfection to the point that it literally tears them apart from the inside out. She like so many other women are forgotten for their outstanding acting ability and are esentially ignored for any parts if they have the nerve to age. In todays world of reality TV where these women who are wealthy and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to look like barbie are now paid to just look rich and sound stupid. I think the message she is trying to get out to women is don't do what I did, she wants women including herself to feel good about themselves. We live in a shallow world and lets face it ladies none of us feel good when we look bad. I have never had anything done to my face but let me tell you if I could get a doctor that had perfected his craft that could make me look as good as she does and I could afford it I would do it in a heart beat. I have lived long enough now to understand that people see the face first, it determines what doors are open and how long they stay open. People critize you when you look your age and they critize you when you do something to improve your looks. I just think it is time for people to stop being so mean to each other. With all the saddness in the world and the ability to just be mean for no reason I think that as long as people aren't doing anything to hurt each other then leave them alone and try to find something good to say. With the exception of one mistake she made in the Viet Nam era for which she deeply regrets she has spent most of her life doing what we all do just trying to be loved by someone , isn't that what we all want? She has done remarkable things to help people and she after all human and willingly admits to her mistakes. I don't think anyone sets out to fail in a realationship and her personal life is just that personal. So let up folks and remember that kind words are healing while hateful words only tear down the spirit. Listen I would only hope to look as good and be in good physical shape as Jane Fonda is at 75 years of age. Like she said she really didn't want to have it done but got really tired of being told how tired and worn out she looked and it really got to her, so she gave in and found a good plastic surgeon to help her out a little. At least she doesn't have blow fish lips and a waxed looking face, she just looks darn good.

- I've read in a few places that her doctor was Robert Hutcherson in Bev Hills.
- I saw her up close less than a year ago and she looks great - very natural and not pulled taut. She is, however, bony thin and has absolutely no hips. Her hips look almost smaller than her waist.
- She's quite tall, which accounts for the no hips. I love her, very inspirational and her two campiest parts are Viveca von Loren in "The Morning After" and "Klute."
- Lesbians don't care about wrinkles in fact, wrinkles are considered to enhance a woman's beauty.
All straight women should know this.
- A few months ago, I sat next to her at the theatre and we had a nice conversation before the show and during intermission. She looked wonderful.
- She was on Kelly and Michael this morning pushing a new yoga DVD and her body looked amazingly taut for any age but esp 75. Her face looks good for her age. I had a friend who worked for her in Santa Monica about 20 years ago who as I recall said she was a nice enough person to work for. This was before she married Ted Turner.
- She looks wonderful!

- Jane also gets really expensive, skillfully made wigs and hairpieces, the aging woman's best friend. With the exception of a few clunkers, her wigs are always flattering and age-appropriate and stylish.
- Link, R51. She's always had a great head of hair. Just like men, some keep it, some don't. And some have enough to start with that if they lose some, it doesn't really matter.
