In college he played the goldfish in a production of The Cat in the Hat. He wore an orange knit skirt and stood so it looked like a fish tail.\
He completely ran away with the show. No one could pay any attention to the cat because the fish was so funny.
He''s a scream onstage, but quite a nasty little bitch offstage.\
Not at all well-known outside of LA''s gay community.
Started out as a SERIOUS actor, believe it or not, and was BD Wong''s understudy in the original Broadway production of M. Butterfly.\
He and BD HATED each other. Asian queens can be SO territorial...\
When BD left the show, Alec took over the role.
Dahling, I am Asian but not at all SO territorial. Every race or ethnic group is welcome. Asian tents can be wide open.
B.D. has a better and bigger cock.
Alec is actually very nice - and quite well known outside of LA - don''t know who you must be talking about. He is legally married and I think his husband is German. BFFs with former Miss Universe Brook Lee.
One of the bottomiest bottoms whoever bottomed.
Big Palin supporter.
An embarassment to gay men everywhere.%0D
I was surprised to see him pop up in a speaking role in Seinfeld. %0D\
What''s he up to these days? His "Sazuki St. Clair" was a riot.
Every fiber of my being detects that r4 is the real deal. Hi Alec, welcome back from Mexico! Oh, sorry. That was so two days ago. Won''t tell anyone that you slum here, too. Our dirty little secret.
I Remember Mapa
I think he might be a homosexualist
R4 said he is Asian. He didn''t say he was Alec Mapa.
I''m a rice queen but Mapa would make give up rice forever. \
Friend him of Facebook, his status updates are hilarious
Must have Filipino blood. Looks and name are that of Filipinos.
BD Wong always struck me as an arrogant asshole so I''d probably rather hang with Mapa.
I saw him years ago do "M. Butterfly" in Boston (he was doing the tour with Philip Anglim). He was excellent.\
His twitter posts crack me up. And I loved his "Ugly Betty" episode where it was revealed that Suzuki was straight.
I bet he gives great bjs.
I loved him on the short-lived comedy SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS with Jason Bateman.
I just LOVE him on Entourage!
He''s not my type normally, but I find him adorable for some reason.

He is a regular DL poster?
Alec is, indeed, Filipino--that gem of a nationality resplendent in its inner beauty, sun-kissed exotic charm, hospitality, and ubiquitous humanity!\
We, your petite brown Filipino bruthas and sistahs, are proud of you, Miss Mapa. We wish you continued success and we will all be cheering you on as you lengthen your string of accomplishments.\
Keep that regal Filipino bearing up even as fellow bitches here revel in your human flaws.\
But then, sweetie pies, let those without blemish cast the first pink, variegated, rainbow-themed stone.\
Oh, how I love the smart, funny, and outrageous remarks on DL! Keep the gossip juices flowing,
I sat next to Alec, in a restaurant in Boston in the late 80''s, after seeing him do M. Butterfly and he was very nice and talkative to me. At that time, I believe he was with a lady friend or his wife. Whatever the relation, she was pleasent, too. I thought he was wonderful on stage and M. Butterfly has become one of my top 5 favorite shows.%0D\
He is a Filopino and they are very warm, interesting and a proud people.
should have been Filipino

I really like that show. If the network hadn''t moved it around to hell and back it might have stood a chance. I just watched his comedy routine on Logo After Dark the other night, it was pretty damn funny.
I first noticed him on an episode of Roseanne in which he played a hairdresser. He''s a riot. He''s one of those performers, like Christine Ebersole and Mary Kay Place, who perks up anything he''s in.
He was much more believable and attractive as a female in M BUTTERFLY than Bradd was. Bradd had a wit that worked better for the character overall, though.
Her brilliant Facebook postings and Friends'' responses are among my favorite things.
