What''s your top choices?\
Mine in no particular order:\
Beatrix Kiddo vs. Elle Driver (Kill Bill Vol 2) Pure visceral bitch fight\
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul (Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace) Masterfully choreographed. The only good scene in a shitty movie.\
Ellen Ripley vs. The Alien Queen (Aliens) "Get away from her you BITCH!"\
T-800 vs. T-1000 (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) Revolutionary special effects for it''s time\
Dan Gallagher vs. Alex Forrest (Fatal Attraction) You felt Dan''s anger and you wanted that bitch DEAD
Oliver Reed and Alan Bates in "Women in Love"
Basil Rathbone v Errol Flynn in "The Adventures of Robin Hood". \
Oh, if I''m R1, then: die freeper cunt, what a dumb question and you spelled things wrong. You smell bad.
Viggo Mortinsons nude locker room fight in Eastern Promises.
Roddy Piper vs. Keith David in "They Live"
Brad Pitt and Eric Bana in "Troy"
Baby Jane Hudson and Blanche Hudson?
''Ch know it''s true.
Another vote for Viggo and Eastern Promises
Tippi Hedren vs. a flock of seagulls in the attic
Olympia holding up Shirley and telling Sally to punch her lights out!
Amanda Plummer (Nettie Cobb) and Valri Bromfield (Wilma Jerzyck) in Needful Things.
Michelle Yeoh vs. Zhang Ziyi in "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". %0D\
Any fight scene from Jackie Chan''s Hong Kong films. Damn, why didn''t he stay there instead of letting Hollywood ruin him?
Vicki Frederick and Laurene Landon vs. Ursilene Bryant and Tracy Reed in "All the Marbles." Great action choreography and subplot with Richard Jaeckel as a crooked ref. Frederick''s jump onto Reed''s shoulders at 3.20 is better than anything Emma Peel or Buffy Sommers ever did.
Charlize Theron and Teri Hatcher in 2 Days in the Valley.
r1, is that the movie where they fight butt-neked
Sean Connery and Robert Shaw''s fight on the train in "From Russia With Love" owns this thread.
Russell Crowe''s last big boxing match scenes in Cinderella Man. They were the most realistic fight scenes I have ever seen. Right up there with Raging Bull only even better.%0D\
I loved the Errol Flynn swordfighting!%0D\
Got to give a nod to Viggo in Eastern Promises, too.%0D\
Stewart Granger vs Mel Ferrer in Scaramouche (1952).%0D\
Shirley MacLaine vs Anne Bancroft in The Turning Point (1977).
The mudslide fight scene in McClintock
The match against the Japanese tag team in All the Marbles... Vicki Frederick taking a pounding from the vicious Asian wrestler is one of the hottest things I've ever seen.
The knock down, drag out fight of all time, between Keith David and Roddy Piper in "They Live". An all-time classic.
Linda Evans vs. Joan Collins in the lily pond on Dynasty: The Threat" season 3.
Patrick Swayze and what's-his-name's climactic lakeside fight in "Road House," one of the funniest guilty pleasures ever made. That scene with the line, "I used to fuck guys like you in prison."
And the school bully beatdown in "A History of Violence."
Jason Bourne vs Desh in Bourne Utimatum
Neo vs 10000 Smiths in Matrix Reloaded. And I also love Beatrix vs Elle Driver, that was a great one.
The Miracle Worker with Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke.
Gina Carano and Michael Fassbinder in Haywire. I've never seen a woman kick ass like that against a guy.
Marlene Dietrich and Una Merkel in "Destry Rides Again".
The palace kitchen fight in "The Great Race".
Gandalf vs Saruman in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, can't remember which of the three movie's it was but it was the one when he ends up strangling the guy with a telephone cable or something, then he stuffs a magazine into the toaster and opens a gas valve and blows the place to kingdom come.
Entire battle of Helm's Deep in the Two Towers and Boromir's fight to the death in Fellowship of the Ring
Kathleen Turner vs Michael Douglas in War of the Roses.
The naked fight scene that Viggo Mortensen had in Eastern Promises.
Just cock and balls swinging all over that bath haus!
Damn, I should have read the thread before posting.
I see Viggo has already been mentioned a few times.
Manchurian Candidate (1962) fight scene with Sinatra and Henry De Silva.
The two girl scouts fighting in the bar in Airplane.
r62 beat me to it! EXCELLENT sword fighting
( with swords, kids) though it helps if you know the back story to said fight: Archibald ( Tim Roth) raped Rob Roy's ( Liam Neeson's) wife
( Jessica Lange) . Besides that, he was just an all around asshole. "Rob Roy" is a GREAT movie, BTW.
As old-fashioned and lame as that VIEW TO A KILL clip is, you gotta love Walken's little laugh when he realizes he's going to die. I remember being really disturbed by that when I first saw the movie in high school.
Don't laugh, but the fight scene on the rope bridge in Kung Fu Panda.
Indiana Jones vs. the Swordsman, "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
Mark Wahlberg and Ted the Teddy Bear in "Ted."
Goop and Christina Applegate in "View From the Top."
Both are pretty funny but Ted is laugh-out-loud. Goop gets her head pushed into a round loaf of bread in VFtT.
on the small screen it was Doreen and Maya.
in comics, Tony Stark pretty much told SHIELD to go fuck itself after they bought up Stark stock that gave them controlling interest.
Tony handed SHIELD 200 resignations from the company and reminded SHIELD that all his weapons patterns were privately owned -- by him; effectively taking the wind out of SHIELD's power play sails.
Not a single blow was struck, but it was a great scene. Iron Man No. 130, I believe.
John Wayne vs. Randolph Scott (over Marlene Dietrich) in "The Spoilers."
