OP -- By nature, I''ve got a flat ass. I''ve changed it substantially by doing all the "power" leg exercises twice a week: squats, lunges, and deadlifts. You must lift HEAVY. Remember HEAVY. Anyway, after following this leg regime my butt is noticeably more meaty and protuberant.

Much of it is genetic, but you can get a better ass with the aforementioned exercises. But, probably not a perfect, high bubble, which really is a gift from God.

Short duration sprinting develops the butt.
Long distance runners do NOT have great butts.
I just do lots of legs at the gym - everything, including the whaddayacallit, where you push your feet back from the waist. Now I have a firm, rounder ass.

I used to have absolutely NO ASS. In fact, my buddy in college (who also lacked a butt) and I used to refer to each other as NEAMies (Non-Existent Ass Men).
A couple years ago, as my 30th birthday approached, I decided that enough was enough. 100% bottom guys need a good fucking ass. So I made it priority #1 with my trainer and through an intense combination of squats, lunges with weights and Stairmaster (yes, the old-school Stairmaster, not the new one), I developed myself a meaty bubble butt. Now, it's consistently cited as perhaps my most attractive feature. And upkeep is simple once you've created it.
There is absolutely no need for implants (really, people?) or steroids.
I was a dancer for over 20 years and always had a flat butt. I tried everything and nothing worked. So, now I am middle aged still with a flat butt and everyone around me that is my age have major saggers!

i am also a recovering NEAM. but, after a year of the following leg work out twice a week (plus running) i managed to beef my butt up AND out. ...believe me, it gets noticed now.
4 x 7-9 sitting leg extensions
5 x 7-9 squats
4 x 7-9 smith machine lunges
4 x 7-9 straight leg dead lifts
4 x 7-9 sitting calf raises
3 x 7-9 laying hamstring curls.
key is to lift as heavy as you possibly can for all sets. if all you end up doing is six reps for a set that's ok. but you should be adding weight over time. again, if you are a NEAM, you must lift HEAVY.
do this routine twice a week and watch your butt change for hte better.
ps as other posters have noted, your pants size will change. after a year you won't be able to fit in a lot of fashion pants which are generally cut too slim.

Where exactly do they cut you open to insert the butt implants? I know Rafael Alencar has them, but I don't see any scar. I'm assuming its up the crack of his ass? And same with pec implants--where the hell do they cut you open to put them in you and not leave a visible scar? Your armpits?

I am 55 years old. Looked in the mirror a couple months ago and saw an old Man's saggy cest and butt. I started hitting the gym hard, and the results are surprising in just under three months. For the butt I do squats, sumo squats, dead lifts, good mornings, lunges, leg presses, kickbacks, weighted leg lifts (cable).
A couple things to keep in mind: a leg and butt workout takes a lot of weight and time because it is the biggest muscle group; to emphasize your butt, feet fo the front on the press, and go deep on squats. This is why I like suno squats, no back strain and deep. Btw, my last lover took second for the master's division in bodybuilding at the gay games, at the age of 70. He always admired guys with great legs and butts, because in his opinion, that took the most work.
My gym just put in a Hack Squat machine. Holy bubblicious Batman! It sure felt like it was isolating the glutes, and they were sore.
The other thing I have found with leg workouts is that to get that "shelf" look at the top of the butt, I need to work the gluteus medius with hip abduction. Definitely makes a visible difference.

OP - your "current butt" ? Its not like you can change them that quickly - ballet dancers have great defined butts, as do some rugby players, so it all do to the exercises they do.
You can definitely develop a Muscle Butt if you put in the work. Genetics makes it much easier for some, but that part of the body responds well to hard training.

Take ice skating lessons. It's fun, and you get a nice muscular butt.
You can't develop a butt. You either have buttcheecks or you don't. I have seen many hockey players with flat asses. It's genetics.
Get on all fours, or on your knees leaning over a low surface such as a bed or couch, and simply squeeze your butt muscles as hard as possible and hold as long as you can. It sounds ridiculous, but do this as much as possible and you'll start seeing results within a couple of weeks.
