Matthew McBongo -- plugs\
John Travolta -- toupee
Brad Pitt goes between plugs to toupees, and most of the time he wears hats to cover up his bald head.
do all the plugs guys have that huge gash on their head like Piven?
Jon Cryer - toupe\
Charlie Sheen - plugs
Phila Daily News just outed Jimmy Smits'' toupee (it blew off during a scene)\
believe it or not, I think David Letterman wears a partial piece of some sort.
I think Letterman has something going too. His hair on top looks a little too bushy for a man of his age. Its still a good weave though, if it is one. \
I cant tell with the news guys. Charles Gibson wears toupee right? George S?\
John Travolta should stop with the lacefronts. He looks great bald.
Letterman, definitely: his hair was thinning in the 80s.
Doesn''t Springsteen have something?
This might seem like an odd question but why don''t celebrities get on hair loss treatments like Propecia instead bothering with toupees?
William Shatner OWNS this fucking thread
They probably did R13 but that is not a cure and the hair still vanished.
I know, hard to believe
How about Hugh Laurie of House? Definite toupee in older seasons, this year maybe plugs?
Ted Danson - rug
Ted Danson has gone without the hair piece quite often.\
However I have no idea what Sting has going on at the top of his head, whether it is plugs, a weave, a wig or a combination of all 3.
R18 - I thought Ted D. has a full head of gray hair, has he been bald all along?
Chris Meloni - toupee
Ted Danson was wearing a rug by the end of Cheers.
Thomas Calabro admitted to wearing a hair piece on Wendy Williams
Thank god Bruce Willis has the guts to appear in a feature film with nada!
I''ve always liked Thomas Calabro since the first version of Melrose Place. I respect him for coming clean about his hair piece. And he couldn''t have picked a better show than Wendy''s to talk about fake hair.
Al Gore and Joe Biden have plugs
David Faber (CNBC) - toupee\
Ditto Joe Kernan
Gary Sinise has something atop his head. Looks too "wiggy" to be a transplant, so I''m guessing weave or toupee.\
The way his piece is placed gives him that curious hairline look my sisters and I call "The Bucky"--from Fat Albert & the Cosby kids.
Tim McGraw has either plugs or a wiglet/hairpiece.\
Bradley Cooper wears a hairpiece some of the time to fill in the front.\
George Clooney had on a hairpiece at the recent Oscars.\
Ben Affleck appears to wear some sort of weave all or part of the time.
I think Enrique Iglesias might have plugs or a hairpiece.
R30 - he actually has a sense of humor about it all. He was adjusting it one day without realizing the camera was on him. He chuckled and just moved on. No big deal.
Letterman does NOT have plugs. It''s all his own hair.
This has a close up of Ben Affleck''s hairline. It looks natural.
these guys with money...go for the actual transplant. i did...absolutely NO regrets. looks so natural and damn good
I can''t believe people don''t remember the episode of Cheers in which Sam admitted to Carla that he wore a "hair enhancement system".\
Carla was humiliated that Sam found out she had gotten drunk and slept with Paul (the nerdy, chubby guy who WASN''T Norm or Cliff). Sam revealed his own humiliating secret as a guarantee he''d keep her secret. It was in the final season.
I remember that episode, R46.
Good for Calabro! \
I remember on Good Morning America John Travolta talking about his hair in that Paris movie and it was a wink to his being self-conscious about going on camera without his hair.\
Did anyone else see that?
Joe Namath and Milburn Drysdale.
Apparently JC Chasez has some kind of fake hair. But I guess interest in him is limited to the Nsync troll.
Adam Baldwin. Rug. Really cheap one by the looks of it.
There''s an ADAM Baldwin?
Do you mean Alec Baldwin? He does NOT wear a hairpiece!
How can Brad Pitt go back and forth between hairplugs and a toupee, R6? Don''t hairplugs require surgical removal and, I assume, healing and possible scarring?
Ok, can discuss this for a moment? What does he have going on here? I guess he pulls it up to his hairline and has pieces in the back for fullness. In any event, Beyonce needs to do a weave intervention. They have the same hair color now, and probably have the same weave lady.
Didn''t know Redford wore the hair-helmet till I read it here on DL. Mike Nichols of course has needed an Irish Jig from day one, due to alopecia.
Can''t believe you girls haven''t mentioned Vince Vaughn - watching his rug can be the most interesting thing about one of his movies...does he really have a dick so big it hurts the ladies?
Brendan Fraser has terrible plugs, he usually wears a toupee. But when you go cueball bald very young, there aren''t a lot of good options.\
Mel Gibson and Robin Williams have bad plugs over the forehead.
Meloni I''ve seen in person several times. He definitely wears a toupee on the show. He is totally bald on top.\
The one that everyone hates to hear, but is true - Jon Hamm.
How about Keith Urban. Is that really a wig he wears?
Jon Hamm? Never noticed that one at all, and I usually notice right away. Didn''t even catch it on his Saturday Night Live appearance for 90 minutes!\
Keith Urban does appear to maybe be wearing a full wig.
there should be a thread of male celebs with a full head of hair! I bet there are only about five.
[quote]Didn''t someone post pics of Piven''s hair procedure scar? It was nasty!\
Piven has all kinds of weird things going on with his body.
I was never sure whether all of Affleck''s hair was his own until I saw him on Jon Favreau''s IFC show "Dinner for 5" when Colin Farrell was also a guest. Farrell for some reason yanked on Affleck''s hair, and it definitely looked at that moment as if it were the real deal.
I swear Ben Affleck was wearing a weave or hairpiece for a while. Maybe he now has transplants or plugs.
Afflect has to have plugs or a good weave because---he always has the same hairstyle for years. It never changes, it never grows longer. You see pics of male celebs with real hair---sometimes long, sometimes a little shorter. But his is the same.damn.length. The.same.damn.style.
Jeremy Piven \
R68 reminds me: Will Arnett
re: Adam Baldwin - currently on the TV show "Chuck".
R41, dear, and everyone else who gets the "forbidden" message when someone links to a url with a jpg or another pic:\
Please your cursor at the end of the url and hit enter and you''ll see the link in all its glory.\
The linky is not stinky, but your computer skills are a bit behind.
John Hamm? Sorry. All his.
R32, Enrique Iglesias has a huge, full-on complete wig/tpupee%0D\
Ricky Martin- some sort of hairpiece and plugs%0D\
Rob Lowe - wig or toupee
Charlie Sheen has toupees - not plugs - his entire hair at the front and on top is fake hair
I''ve seen pics of Hamm that clearly show that he must be wearing a toupee on Mad Men. His hair is definitely thining on top.
Patrick Wilson- transplant and Toppik\
Patrick Warburton- transplant and Toppik\
I remember watching an Academy awards show with Tammy- the overhead lighting showed transplants to me- i gasped and pointed it out, and everyone agreed with me.
If David Letterman had a hair transplant or is wearing something, he should get his money back.
[quote]Please your cursor at the end of the url and hit enter and you''ll see the link in all its glory. The linky is not stinky, but your computer skills are a bit behind.\
You''ve just admitted the link IS stinky since it won''t come up for everyone.\
It''s nice to shift the blame on others, but let''s face it: you fucked up buy posting an inferior link.
[quote]you fucked up buy posting an inferior link.%0D\
I like Enrique''s wig. its nice and bouncy. I like even more to rip it off in a moment of passion!
Sting is clearly balding, he has a badly receding hairline. \
How could anyone assume he wears any type of supplemental hair? You think it''s worse than it already looks?! If so, he should ask for his money back.\
His wife, that nutjob Trudie, also has badly thinning hair with a receding hairline. Not to mention, getting her face lifted so many times, didn''t help with her already receding hairline!
Costner wears a rug. He used to get them from a guy named Sal in New Orleans who retired.
Wtf is going on with Piven''s chest in R69''s pic? Are those stretch marks?\
Btw, R92 is an idiot.
r59 your link did not work.\
and Shatner is wonderful...
R95-you do realize that was an April Fools joke don''t you?
Why not a list of balding women celebrities or those who always wear wigs?
Beyonce and J. Lo are always in some type of supplemental hair. Do they even have much of their own hair? In an interview, Marc Anthony mentioned J.Lo has a wig room in one of their homes, so that's a lot of wigs and hairpieces!
I can't even begin to count all the actresses who wearing extensions. This, of course, sets the bar way too high for regular women, especially when they compare themselves with a female celebrity with perfect hair.
Nicole Kidman has some type of alopecia going on. She was wearing such bad miss-matched, in texture and shine, extensions when she was on "The View" a few months ago. It was obvious, especially to people who know about supplemental hair.
Kidman's real hair on top was thin and cotton candy-ish in texture, while the long extensions pieces where thick, healthy and shiny.
I always wonder when I see this, why can't such wealthy people find better supplemental hair solutions? I'm sure expert wig makers are at a celebrity's disposal.
Paris Hilton is another one who wears extensions
I think almost all the celebrity women with hair longer than shoulder length have hair extension. Even in relatively young women hair longer than that looks thin.
Men wearing a toupee I get. Women? Strange.
I''m really looking forward to shorter hair making a comeback for women.\
Some of these middle-aged celebrities look ridiculous clinging to their long (fake) hair. It''s not even flattering.
Does Jim Carey wear a hairpiece? I never thought so, but his hairline looked really strange in "I Love You, Philip Morris."
R105, R107, you do not know what you are talking about.%0D\
You are decades upon decades behind the times and extremely oout-moded in your thinking.%0D\
You have a 1950''s standard and you have never grown beyond that narrow, insular thinking.%0D\
Women of all ages, including middle age and older, look fantastic, sexy, alluring, and beautiful with long hair.%0D\
You are just jealous. You are probably balding beautitians from small towns who live in a tiny world of outmoded thought. If you are not that, then you are just hopelessly passe and ignorant.
Short hair has already made a comeback for the young women. The older ladies will pick it back up when its gone out of style again.
I don''t think short hair ''has made a comeback for young women'' at all, R112.%0D\
Where do you live - plant Uranus?
And by young women, I dont mean the aging 40 somethings like Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez. I mean actual 20 somethings.
There''s nothing fantastic, sexy, beautiful or alluring about a 45 year old woman with 5 feet of extensions glued to two inches of real scrub hair. There''s nothing appealing about any woman who has acres of thin, broken hair clinging to her head for dear life. The women over 25 who have thick, healthy, glossy, genuinely beautiful very long hair are few and far between. Most would look so much better if they just cut it to shoulder length and maintained it.
Short or mid-length hair often looks ultra-conservative, soccer-momish, duncy, ugly, homely, and unattractive.
R110, I have no idea why you are railing against me. I said that many women don''t have the quality of hair to grow it very long, not that it didn''t look good. My hair certainly never looked good really long, but my S-I-L has beautiful thick hair that still looks good on the longish side and she is 50.
R116, over age 25??!!!! You are a sick demented fuck.
"Short or mid-length hair often looks ultra-conservative, soccer-momish, duncy, ugly, homely, and unattractive."%0D\
Duncy? No, the ones who look duncy are the throwbacks who think women need long Barbie Doll hair to be attractive. %0D\
What's up with Will Arnett's hair?
Jon Hamm Wig
Rick Springfield was on Dr. Oz the other afternoon. I recall he always had very thick hair.
His hair now looks like a cheap glue on piece. The front hairline looked so bizarre.
It also looked to have that cotton candy texture which happens to thinning hair, that's what confused me. Why would a person wear a hairpiece which looks like thinning hair.
He could either be in a bad piece or that was his own hair, with some spray on scalp cover at the hairline. It also looked as if he a ton of hairspray on!
Romney has plugs. And wears makeup to make them look fuller.
[quote]Afflect has to have plugs or a good weave because---he always has the same hairstyle for years. It never changes, it never grows longer.
Yep, definitely a two-year-old comment, considering he just grew it out for his new movie (set in the shaggy-hair '70s).
Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie both have plugs. Angelina had a hairline revision. Gwyneth just has shitty genes.
Richard Simmons - plugs
On his head and up his butt.
Joe Biden has more plugs than a bad Cindy Adams column
David Remnik's hair has to be fake.
I have studied in great detail Ben Affleck's head. That is a wig that covers his whole head. Not only that, it isn't even made out of human hair. It appears to be boar's bristles.
