Is this movie any good or is a POS like her other movies?
Embarrassing.

Hideous.
Homophobic: there are not special scholarships for gays nor any other "special treatment" although this is a recurrent theme of Hollywood trying to make straights hate us.
There are no high school seniors who don't know whether or not they are gay or straight. They may not tell, but they know. The male of the species is NEVER that out of touch with his junk as the men in any Nia Vardalos production. She literally has no concept of the male.

I thought this was going to be some old thread. I thought she died.

Say what you will about her other movies, but "Big Fat Greek Wedding" was hilarious.

It's not AWFUL, but it's not particularly inspired, either. It's cute, a couple of laughs, and the guy playing her son is cute. If it's only 2 bucks on iTunes, you could do worse. If it's more than that, forget it.

What happened to Nia?! My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a really funny movie with a great cast and I watch it everytime I catch it on TV, but everything else she did since that was horrible. A one hit wonder?

The boy she tries to set her son up with was super flaming.

I still lose it when Aunt Voula tells Ian's parents about her teratoma that got bigger after "the hormonies" dried up.
I wanted to love [italic]Connie and Carla,[/italic] but it was just meh.

Straight people are unable to imagine life from our perspective. When they try, they always include a point of view intended to diminish us. The premise of the movie, that gays have special rights, is prima facie offensive.

The actor who played her son looks like this now.

It's not her fault. There just aren't a lot of roles for the Greeks in Hollywood films. It's part of the bias.

It's still better than Ocean's 8
