Rumer Willis achieves lifelong dream

Finally after much plastic surgery and diet and exercise, she can (sort of) pass for her mom's lookalike.

She can die happy now.

Wow, The surgeon shaved half her face off...no more protruding chin.

well at least she is attractive now. I used to feel so bad for her before. She was seriously unfortunate looking to put it mildly.

I can't even imagine what that surgery was like. How do you shave someone's chin down?

by Anonymousreply 2May 26, 2015 3:16 PM

I think there is some creative photography going on in that picture.

R2 If you have ever seen surgeons tools some of them look like they came from a woodworking bench.

Seriously it is not a pretty picture sometimes.

by Anonymousreply 4May 26, 2015 3:19 PM

She needs a tad bit more off on the chin.

by Anonymousreply 5May 26, 2015 3:21 PM

R2= Reese Witherspoon asking for a "friend."

by Anonymousreply 6May 26, 2015 3:30 PM

Her nose is now too small and pointy, she looks like a bird. Poor thing.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how good looking one's parents are, the gene mix can conjure up some unfortunate results!

by Anonymousreply 7May 26, 2015 3:36 PM

I wonder if Bruce Willis feels any guilt?

by Anonymousreply 8May 26, 2015 3:40 PM

[quote] Her nose is now too small and pointy, she looks like a bird. Poor thing.

Lol. Who knew that Truman Capote was still alive?!

by Anonymousreply 9May 26, 2015 3:42 PM

I think it's sad that she let herself be bullied into such drastic alterations.

by Anonymousreply 10May 26, 2015 3:46 PM

Well, it was either that or squirrel herself for the rest of her life as a librarian, r10.

If you're a young woman and you want to make it as a starlet, you can't look like a monster. She basically had no other options.

by Anonymousreply 11May 26, 2015 3:49 PM

[quote] I think there is some creative photography going on in that picture.

Very much agreed. Remember, they can shave 50lbs off of Kelly Clarkson with the flick of a mouse.

by Anonymousreply 12May 26, 2015 3:50 PM

She's always had a GREAT body. Shame about the face.

by Anonymousreply 13May 26, 2015 3:58 PM

"I can't even imagine what that surgery was like. How do you shave someone's chin down?"

It only hurts for a week or so.

Nope, she's still ugly. She still has the potato head and her creepy beady eyes. The glasses kind of distract you from the ugliness, but it's just one photo. Demi is still pretty.

by Anonymousreply 18May 26, 2015 4:20 PM

Maybe she should have made herself look Asian?

by Anonymousreply 19May 26, 2015 4:24 PM

[quote]I think it's sad that she let herself be bullied into such drastic alterations.

People get plastic surgery all the freakin time. Especially in the entertainment industry, it is pretty much par for course.

by Anonymousreply 20May 26, 2015 4:24 PM

She looks better with shorter hair.

by Anonymousreply 21May 26, 2015 4:25 PM

she still looks like a monster her nose is a lost cause

by Anonymousreply 22May 26, 2015 4:28 PM

Best plastic surgery since Ashlee Simpson got that witch's hump sawed off her face.

Agree that she needs just a touch more taken off the chin, but she looks 1000% better.

by Anonymousreply 23May 26, 2015 4:46 PM

But with Rumer, 1000% better is still fug.

by Anonymousreply 24May 26, 2015 4:55 PM

She has a Michael Jackson nose. Tiny features in a potato head. She be foogaly.

What is this poor girl's calling card or talent or reason for attention aside from being the daughter of celebrities trying to make herself look like one- whatever that is- very sad commentary on the values of a particular young women and perhaps her family and our larger culture.

by Anonymousreply 27May 26, 2015 5:43 PM

[quote]What is this poor girl's calling card or talent

Well, she's just proven she's a great dancer. That's something, at least.

by Anonymousreply 28May 26, 2015 5:45 PM

The of the hair and the length at r26 aren't helping her any. The shape of her head is better suited for short hair.

by Anonymousreply 29May 27, 2015 1:02 AM

Nothing more hateful than a bunch of jealous, ugly, gay cunts.

by Anonymousreply 30May 27, 2015 1:11 AM

You're ugly too, Scout, and so are your tits.

by Anonymousreply 31May 27, 2015 1:21 AM

R29 With the shape of her head she is better suited for a paper bag.

by Anonymousreply 32May 27, 2015 1:30 AM

She's always had a good body. Too bad she was never encouraged to do anything but perform.

by Anonymousreply 33May 27, 2015 3:14 AM

Why didn't she do what other unattractive people do - get an education?

by Anonymousreply 34May 27, 2015 3:47 AM

You mean like I did, R34?

by Anonymousreply 35May 27, 2015 3:51 AM

Photoshop, babes.

That's photoshopped

by Anonymousreply 36May 27, 2015 3:52 AM

I'm just thinking back to that picture of Demi's bush . . . think how much worse Rumer's is! She's probably got 5 o'clock shadow down there by 10am

by Anonymousreply 37May 27, 2015 4:08 AM

Not that they look like total opposites, but they don't look THAT much alike, Similar outfit, glasses, and hair draw the attention. The faces, again, while not extremely dissimilar, aren't THAT similar. The white lighting and washed out visual and, as stated, the similar outfits, glasses, and hair, make them look much more alike than in reality.

by Anonymousreply 38May 27, 2015 4:14 AM

Her babies will still come out sporting her old face.

by Anonymousreply 39May 27, 2015 4:49 AM

why are people so nasty about looks on this website, but when i posted a thread about plastic surgery once - months ago - people told me to see a therapist & that I was BDD and delusional, etc... (my pic wasn't even showing)

can't have it both ways. demanding this potato head gets plastic surgery but if a poster here wants to discuss it, they are mentally ill?

by Anonymousreply 40May 27, 2015 4:54 AM

OMG OP, please tell us you have not added Rumer Willis into your rotation of self-responded threads that are just conversations with yourself? We already have to tolerate your high pitched giggle squeals about Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris and Broadway. Your words leave the biggest trail of evidence to a one man show nobody wants to see.

by Anonymousreply 41May 27, 2015 5:06 AM

People online always say someone had plastic surgery. I don't think she did. I've seen her for years. She looks the same. The difference now is she is about 15 pounds lighter and older. People's skin loses it's plump, youthful appearance during their 20s. People's skin begins to look thinner in their late 20s.

by Anonymousreply 42May 27, 2015 5:10 AM

R42 You are officially the biggest idiot in this thread.

by Anonymousreply 43May 27, 2015 5:13 AM

R42, you're blind. Please get your eyes checked.

by Anonymousreply 44May 27, 2015 5:13 AM

I think Bristal Palin had the same plastic surgery.

by Anonymousreply 45May 27, 2015 5:14 AM

One thing she certainly did was pump up her lips to make them not quite so small in comparison to her chinny chin chin.

by Anonymousreply 46May 27, 2015 5:18 AM

Reboot The Munsters with those three Willis girl as the cousins

It would be a hit.

by Anonymousreply 47May 27, 2015 5:21 AM

The thing with plastic surgery is, unless it's perfect(or practically perfect) it makes you look older.

by Anonymousreply 48May 27, 2015 5:22 AM

She obviously had her chin / jaw reduced...but the question I'm curious about is if she did it through a plastic surgeon or maxillofacial surgeon...because I think maxillofacial surgeons are actually better at reducing this area...and they would have done a better job. Though, she'd probably have had to wear braces for a while if she did it that way. So, I'm guessing she went the plastic route.

There are tons of people who have upper and lower jaw surgery. It's not that unusual. My parents even have a friend that did it in the 70s. Before her surgery, no man would look at her...after it, she was married within the year. But, she had the kind where her jaw was wired shut for 2 weeks & it was a pretty big ordeal. There are lots of major nerves and blood vessels in the jaw...so it's risky and painful. The korean websites are notorious for showing absolutely none of the recovery period.

by Anonymousreply 49May 27, 2015 5:25 AM

There is something about her that is just dead-on-arrival, like her name itself is a punchline.

She has been hopelessly desperate for years, doing lame acting gigs, dressing like Lisa Hartman in the 80s, always with a 'notice me' forlorn look on her face.

At least her sisters take on causes like being topless in New York, and go to school.

And now Rumer continues her flailing grasp at missing fame with "Dancing with the Children of Stars."

by Anonymousreply 50May 27, 2015 6:26 AM

R49 I so agree with you. i had a friend who had a worse chin and jaw problem than Rumer Willis. It was not just too long and prominent, but it was also so crooked it looked like a Picasso. she had a maxillofacial surgeon break her jaw, shave off the excess and straighten her face through the use of wire and braces for a couple of months. She went from looking like a complete freak who no one would date to a pleasant looking woman. But nothing compares to the work they do in Korea. i cannot get over how they make those fugzilla girls look just like anime dolls. I swear I would love to have my eyes done that way if I were 20 years younger.

by Anonymousreply 51May 27, 2015 7:09 AM

All the Willis girls seem starved for attention, but they come by it honestly. It's in their genes, passed on through attention-starved Mom.

That video at r52 is creepy as hell and it's hard not to juxtapose it with the nude photos of her full front to back bush taken from around the same era.

That being said, Demi clearly had a natural beauty that he daughters didn't quite inherit.

by Anonymousreply 54May 27, 2015 6:50 PM

Rumer did prove herself to be an exquisite dancer on DWTS and her singing voice is more than passable. Many less talented people have had a stunt stint in Cabaret or Chicago. I hope she's given the opportunity, or something better.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 55May 28, 2015 7:57 AM

Rumer seems to have a lot more raw talent than either of her parents.

by Anonymousreply 56May 28, 2015 8:06 AM

Demi isn't a good actress, and she's a really bad dancer. I doubt if she can sing. Bruce is a mediocre actor and not a good or serious singer. Rumer got the actual talent in the family.

by Anonymousreply 57May 28, 2015 8:27 AM

There was nothing wrong with her before, except she was born to two preening narcissistic actor parents, and the one who is a former prostitute and a present day anorexic who collects dolls like Michael Jackson and has to rehab in her forties after forming a Whippit snorting habit, got custody.

These kids don't ask to be born. They have freaks for parents, and those parents are pig shit dumb and do not teach them the value of education, and do not steer them towards a useful career path. They bring them up to think of nothing but their looks, clothes, media, pop culture. Unhappy souls like Rumer Willis, who hates her face and body, and dos not have an identity of her own, are the result.

by Anonymousreply 58May 28, 2015 8:47 AM

Payson Lewis and Rumer did a beautiful cover of the Taylor Swift song, Out of the The Woods. It is much better than the original with lovely vocals and a great arrangement. Rumer is not ugly and definitely talented.

by Anonymousreply 59May 28, 2015 8:51 AM

The more I look at that twinning photo, the more sorry for Rumer I feel. There's mom, pleased as punch that her rather plain offspring is desperate to look like beautiful mommy, but failing, because mommy will always be thinner and more beautiful. This makes Demi very happy.

by Anonymousreply 60May 28, 2015 8:51 AM

[quote]These kids don't ask to be born.

But they do choose to be famewhores, so they deserve all of the criticism that comes along with that.

by Anonymousreply 61May 28, 2015 9:10 AM

With two uneducated actor parents you, too, would doubtless have been raised to believe media attention and looks are more important than qualifying as a cardiologist or a firefighter or something useful, R61. But please, don't feel defensive, go ahead and poke fun at Rumer and her big chin and her big butt or whatever. She 'deserves' it.

by Anonymousreply 62May 28, 2015 9:29 AM

[quote]If you're a young woman and you want to make it as a starlet, you can't look like a monster. She basically had no other options.

Well maybe her parents should have encouraged her to become something other than a starlet. She didn't look like a "monster" before, she just looked mildly unfortunate. But like so many other unfortunate looking people she could have had a normal life with a partner, kids, etc.

I think it's kind of sad that there is less diversity in looks these days. Is everyone going to be forced to get a Michael Jackson nose in the future for fear of sticking out?

by Anonymousreply 63May 28, 2015 1:30 PM

[quote] These kids don't ask to be born.

They could have gone to college and been anything. A banker, an accountant, a doctor, a therapist of some kind (speech, occupational, physical, psychological services), a teacher, an artist, an astronaut.

Or they could have *not* gone to college and done something besides famewhoring.

Sell real estate, be a freeform fashion or handbag designer, own a boutique their parents bought for them, be a "landscape designer" (all you need in the Hamptons is a truck, some rakes, and a shovel --- you pick up the labor at 711), own a pool company, a beverage distributor, buy a restaurant and hire people to manage it (and steal from you), do catering, be "a photographer" (a la Mary McCartney), or a "sculptor" (a la Paul McC's stepdaughter who lives quietly in a cottage and has a pottery kiln). Write children's books that nobody buys. Have their parents buy them a loft in Soho and a nightclub in Montauk.

There are plenty of things they can do beside seek media attention solely because their parents are famous.

by Anonymousreply 64May 28, 2015 2:38 PM

[quote]With two uneducated actor parents you, too, would doubtless have been raised to believe media attention and looks are more important than qualifying as a cardiologist or a firefighter or something useful, [R61].

That's not true at all. There are many people who are first-generation college students.

by Anonymousreply 65May 28, 2015 3:06 PM

[quote]buy a restaurant and hire people to manage it (and steal from you)

No, that wouldn't be the employees, the stealing from small businesses is the government's job.

Back to Rumer...

by Anonymousreply 66May 28, 2015 7:18 PM

The Korean work is hallucinatory. Now I feel Rumer has been gypped! She should get the luxury transformation package.

I don't think she wants to look like her mother by the way. I think she wants to be pretty in her own plastic way.

by Anonymousreply 67May 28, 2015 7:23 PM

You mean she can walk in a room without everyone else reacting in horror?
