It's funny, if he weren't an d-list actor, most people would think he was a great catch - Ivy League undergrad, top tier law school, job at one of the better law firms, good looking (or at least I think so).

If he's stuck to law, he could potentially be a partner at a big law firm, making around $500K per year.

While he's traded lawyer drudgery for the fabulous life of a celebrity, I wonder whether he questions if he made a career mistake when he's doing whatever he does to make ends meet.

At least being involved in the arts (even at a D-level) he gets to control his career. Develop his own project, work in theater.

Hardly struggling. In Hollywood if you can get acting gigs, you are doing well.

I always find it telling when you hear about people like him - studying law - promising law career threw it all away because he wanted to act..no...you knew you were a good looking guy and traded on your vanity for a career...

In fairness you would think that Greenblatt would use his pull to get Gant cast on NBC shows.

But both men have kept their careers separate.
