I'm looking for the best place to buy Tretinoin/Retin-A online and get it delivered (I live in America). Any advice?
Good Retin-A Websites

I've had good experiences - twice in the past year - from clearskypharmacy.cc (but not for retin-a, for accutane). I have ordered Retin-a (actually a generic) from inhousepharmacy.biz in the past, and I also had good experiences with them... although - and I'm not sure about this because I haven't ordered from them in a few years - I'm under the impression that inhousepharmacy may be requiring prescriptions now. Which isn't the case with clearskypharmacy.

I have a friend who swears by alldaychemist. I haven't tried it yet, despite his proselytising. You can leave the rx field blank and it will go through, apparently. The tubes of tretinoin are small so it would take 3-4 for the equivalent of the size I get at CVS, but each one is only $3-ish...which sounds crazy to me. He did say that the shipping is high, but I guess that would balance out if you order enough to last a few months.

R3, I was going to link to that site, but I've also read about people complaining that after placing an order with ADC, their credit card info was compromised.

Thank you, R4. I was thinking about trying it when I run out, but I'll pass.

If you have health insurance, get a prescription, if you don't have insurance, have a friend, who regularly sees a derm, get a 90 day supply of the largest tube.
Most health insurance plans cover a 90 day supply of any maintenance medication, obviously not controlled substances, this way they can sell you their extra tube at a deep discount. 90 day supplies are always cheaper than a 30 day supply.
If you are using Retin-A for acne, you should already be seeing a derm, there are many different strengths, if you are using it for wrinkles, there are other substitutes, Adapalene as well Tazorac, which comes in two strengths. Topical Tazorac is just as amazing as Retin-A.

I have ordered from alldaychemist.com for years and years. Always comes fast with great fresh product.

Whenever I order from an overseas pharmacy, I always use a pre-paid card, with just enough on it to cover the purchase with some wiggle room. To be safe.
... also, if you're worried about an overseas pharmacy, check it out on pharmacyreviewer.com ... particularly the forums. And it's got a black list of sites to avoid.

Is this stuff a get-high pill?

Will a GP prescribe Retin A or must one be referred to a dermatologist?
Will a doctor willingly prescribe Refin A to a patient with otherwise clear Nd healthy skin? I want it for preventative wrinkles.
Will they prescribe it to teenagers for acne?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 24, 2014 8:54 AM |
Yes, they prescribe it to teens for acne. Usually they try courses of oral anti-biotics first, then topical retinoids such as RetinA / Tretinoin or Differin (which is better tolerated on sensitive skins). If that doesn't do it then oral Accutane or laser treatment are the next steps.
A dermatologist will certainly prescribe topical rets for anti-aging purposes. Tretenoin is the gold standard in terms of non-invasive anti-aging treatment. I would estimate over half the sales of that drug are for anti-aging purposes.

R6 clearly does not have an Obamacare policy. My old insurance covered it and my Obamacare policy does not, despite medical justification.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 24, 2014 12:56 PM |
Rightwing propaganda at R12? There is no such thing as an Obamacare policy. It's a website where you pick a policy from an insurance company like Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana, etc. And, if you're intelligent, you pick one that covers your needs and/or balances out between the out of pocket expenses versus the premiums.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 24, 2014 2:11 PM |
Your imaginary policy does not exist.
There is NO policy that meets my needs and balances costs. They were written to benefit the insurance companies and meet their needs.

I have ordered from Inhouse without any issues
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 24, 2014 5:15 PM |
Insurance companies are able to dilute and water down a lot of coverage while keeping the same price under obamacare..it really was a kickback for insurance companies

Another trick... Retin-a comes in various strengths... But for most people .025 is both effective and the least irritating. Buy a tube of either .01 or .05 cream and mix it with a cheap neutral face skin cream to bring it down to .025. The prices they charge for Retin A, which is off patent, in the US are fucking scandalous. Over 200$ for a 45 gm tube.

Have heard good things about pocketderm. (online dermatologist)
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 24, 2014 6:43 PM |
Retin A must only be used at night. Heavy sunscreen must be worn everyday with a light moisturizer. The results are fantastic. But do it any other way and you will one day be very sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 24, 2014 9:51 PM |
Inhouse features this product called Retino-a. Can anyone verify if it is the same thing as Retin-a? Retino-a seems much cheaper and it has a later expiration date than the retin-a .05% solution available through the same site.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 25, 2014 1:37 AM |
Doesn't it cause the skin to turn red?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 25, 2014 4:23 AM |
It's the same thing, OP. Retin-A is one of many brand names of tretinoin, but it seems to be the one that has stuck in colloquial use for generic tretinoin. Retin-A is made by Ortho.
What you linked to is tretinoin in a cream base, so it will be, ostensibly, less irritating than a gel formulation. In reality, though, unless you scale up gradually and very slowly, you will have peeling in the beginning. Just be very diligent with the sunscreen. Use a minimum of SPF 30 every single day, rain or shine, and reapply it frequently.

I used to love the liquid but you cant get it now. Pussies.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 25, 2014 12:51 PM |
R22, thanks. I actually started using Retin-a in April of 2014. I use it daily and haven't had any issues of peeling or anything. My skin is definitely way more moist and I don't need to use moisturizer as much as I did before. Good to know that Retino-A is the same thing as Retin-a, I can save a whole bunch of money now.

Anyone have any updated online pharmacies that sell Retin-A without a Rx?

Does the light from screens pose a threat to someone who uses retin a ?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 25, 2018 9:21 PM |
I've had good luck with MexiPharmacy, which sells brand-name Retin-A. They make you send a money order because they've had so many problems processing credit cards in the past, but they've never screwed me over.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 25, 2018 9:29 PM |
If your screen is emitting ultraviolet light R26. If it is, you have a much bigger problem.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 25, 2018 9:34 PM |
R28 I thought blue light from screens was just as bad?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 25, 2018 9:40 PM |
You thought wrong.

thebeautybliss . com, out of CA. Ordered many times from them with no problem, retin-a is listed under "retinol" for obvious reasons, same tubes as from I ndia pharmacies (retin -o) without any of the overseas ordering concerns and wait time, approx $21. Payment through amazon pay.
