British actor & singer Olly Alexander

I've always found him very attractive when I saw him in films (he was in "Bright Star" and "Enter the Void" among other things), but after seeing him perform with his band on Later with Jools Holland I've become really smitten.

He seems quite gay - anyone know if he is?

You find him attractive OP? To each his own I guess.

Not gay...just fey. (Although I wouldn't be surprised if he's bi. Very, very artsy, boundary-less upbringing...)

Gorgeous voice, although the big single is kind of lame. The video for "Real" with Ben Whishaw is *everything*.

Apparently he's played gay before.

He reminds me of a cross between a young Justin Timberlake (if he had meth issues) and that precocious British auctioneer boy who transitioned to a woman and went on Big Brother.

Still, there's something hot about him. His band makes good music.

Hm, looks like he's openly gay/bi to me.

(Btw, his band is really blowing up now.)

Dating the violinist from Clean a Bandit, lucky fucker. Neil Milan is hyper hot.

His loved ones are very lucky to have him in their lives.

R8 He broke up with him recently, right?

by Anonymousreply 11August 20, 2017 9:14 PM

Thanks for sharing that, R9.

The section with this Mum. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️

R11 - they broke up nearly two years ago.

On a superficial note, one of the doc producers is hottt.

Here's a q&a at a partial screening. It takes a while to get going but there's some powerful audience stuff.

Here's a wide ranging interview to promote Years & Years second album, Palo Santo.

It gets quite gay at times (the host and co-host even live in West Hollywood...). The co-host even cheekily quizzes Olly about the lyric "Do I look good in this position, just like him?" from the title track.

There's an interesting section where Olly quizzes the host about his West Hollywood life. The host mentions swiping Yes for Olly on the celeb dating app Raya. Nick Jonas fans will be interested to know that Olly saw Nick Jonas on the same app. Would Jonas need to have his preferences set to include men for Olly to be able to see his profile?

r19 That song is fine but the rest from the second album he's released so far are garbage. The sophomore slump hit this bitch full-force.

I didn't like the original version of "If You're Over Me" - too plinky plonky with its shades of "Love Cats" arrangement - but it's gone Top Ten in the UK.

I much prefer the remix by Swedish duo NOTD. It's perfect for summer.

The lead single, "Sanctify", underperformed but I like it more in restrospect. I doubt I'll skip it when listening to the album.
