I like Sutton Foster - that Bunheads show was Gilmore Girls, redux.

I always think it would be entertaining for certain actors or characters to run into each other:

- On a car trip through Stars Hollow, Dharma and her mother-in-law Kitty run into Kitty's college sorority sister Emily Gilmore and her daughter Lorelei. Hilarity ensues.

- On Blacklist, James Spader runs into Michael Shanks and does a double take.

- Lauren Graham and Sutton Foster as sisters (though Lauren is obviously the hot one).

- Sydney Bristow (Alias) vs. Sarah Walker (Chuck).

This show could work. Scares me to say that.

She's supposed to be 40.

She's 39. Who says she's 26?

No one says she's 26. The premise is that a 40 year old, whose daughter is grown, pretends to be 26 to re enter the job market.

So she's playing a 40 year old pretending to be a 26 year old.

She'd feel right at home on DL

Hard to believe that cutie Nico Tortorella, who hits on her in the trailer, was just 13 when she won her first Tony for MILLIE in 2002. And now he's her love interest.

Something like this happened with a Felicity writer. she was in her 30s and pretended to be in her early 20s.

The pilot is on Amazon for free. It's not bad, but really crass for TVLand. Lots of jokes about her greying vagina and use of words like shit and tits. Foster was likable, though.

Just watched it. I was really surprised at the language and tone considering it's supposed to be for TV Land. I could see it being a hit as an Amazon or Netflix original. The writing is a bit too sharp for basic cable. And Debi Mazar's character (Sutton's Williamsburg-lesbian best friend) has lots of possibilities.

I heard nothing but horror stories from the crew. They all REALLY want this to be cancelled because its so miserable to work on. Apparently the entire cast (especially Hilary Duff) are all 'psycho, demanding, passive aggressive cunts'.

Honestly I don't know specifics, R21 but I've heard she needs four or five people around her at all times taking care of her every need. She sounds very weird and unstable.

I've always liked Debi Mazar. I'd love to see her in a series other than her cooking show but this was just okay. Hilary Duff is the weak link.

There's NOTHING "charming" about this shitty show. I have a very high tolerance for bad TV, but this is just not compelling in any way.

Debi is the only good thing about it. Give her her own TV Land show.

I've always liked Debi Mazar a lot. She's our modern day Nita Talbot. An indelible presence but I feel hard-pressed when it comes naming any of her roles.

Mazar is great and more interesting than Sutton. Sutton needs to stay on the stage and people need to stop trying to make her happen on TV.

I liked Sutton in "Bunheads." I don't think she's horrible for TV..just needs the right vehicle.

I call bullshit on production people on a tv show hating a cast member so much that they want the show to end. That means they'd be out of a job, with no guarantee of another. And 4-5 people dedicated to making her happy? Maybe people on the show don't like Hilary Duff, but this item is hilariously overblown.

An episode of Younger was sneakily attached to my 4/8 recording of Hot in Cleveland. I thought that was sort of a pathetic move on TV Land's part.

Everyone in the show believes she is 26, which means she's passing for 26 for some characters on the show.
