26? Really? Oh dear.
I really didn't need to think about Sutton Foster's bush this morning. Ew.

I like Sutton Foster - that Bunheads show was Gilmore Girls, redux.
I always think it would be entertaining for certain actors or characters to run into each other:
- On a car trip through Stars Hollow, Dharma and her mother-in-law Kitty run into Kitty's college sorority sister Emily Gilmore and her daughter Lorelei. Hilarity ensues.
- On Blacklist, James Spader runs into Michael Shanks and does a double take.
- Lauren Graham and Sutton Foster as sisters (though Lauren is obviously the hot one).
- Sydney Bristow (Alias) vs. Sarah Walker (Chuck).

This show could work. Scares me to say that.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 2, 2014 8:32 PM |
She's supposed to be 40.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 3, 2014 1:38 AM |
She's 39. Who says she's 26?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 3, 2014 5:48 AM |
No one says she's 26. The premise is that a 40 year old, whose daughter is grown, pretends to be 26 to re enter the job market.
So she's playing a 40 year old pretending to be a 26 year old.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 3, 2014 7:42 AM |
She'd feel right at home on DL

[quote]Sutton Foster IS Younger
Is she playing Walter or Beneatha?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 3, 2014 4:22 PM |
We could have Lauren play her sister?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 4, 2014 2:45 AM |
Betty White should play her sassy older sister who knows her secret.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 4, 2014 2:56 AM |
Hard to believe that cutie Nico Tortorella, who hits on her in the trailer, was just 13 when she won her first Tony for MILLIE in 2002. And now he's her love interest.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 4, 2014 5:38 AM |
Something like this happened with a Felicity writer. she was in her 30s and pretended to be in her early 20s.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 4, 2014 9:31 PM |
R12, RIley Weston. She claimed to be born in 1979 , making her 19 when FELICITY debuted in the fall of 1998. Hailed as a child prodigy and "wunderkind" she was featured on Entertainment Weekly's list of the "100 Most Creative People in Entertainment," which described her as an up-and-coming 19-year-old. Shortly thereafter, she was offered a half-million dollar screenwriting deal with Disney.
Needless to say, all that fell through when her real identity and age was revealed. She was actually born in 1966.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 4, 2014 9:54 PM |
R13 - Yes, thank you!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 4, 2014 9:56 PM |
The pilot is on Amazon for free. It's not bad, but really crass for TVLand. Lots of jokes about her greying vagina and use of words like shit and tits. Foster was likable, though.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 25, 2015 11:57 PM |
I thought she was around 32.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 26, 2015 1:20 AM |
She does look younger.

Just watched it. I was really surprised at the language and tone considering it's supposed to be for TV Land. I could see it being a hit as an Amazon or Netflix original. The writing is a bit too sharp for basic cable. And Debi Mazar's character (Sutton's Williamsburg-lesbian best friend) has lots of possibilities.

I heard nothing but horror stories from the crew. They all REALLY want this to be cancelled because its so miserable to work on. Apparently the entire cast (especially Hilary Duff) are all 'psycho, demanding, passive aggressive cunts'.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 26, 2015 6:11 AM |
R20 - what is the dirt on Duff?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 26, 2015 7:22 AM |
Honestly I don't know specifics, R21 but I've heard she needs four or five people around her at all times taking care of her every need. She sounds very weird and unstable.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 26, 2015 8:30 AM |
So I guess this blind item is about Hilary Duff then.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 27, 2015 1:48 AM |
R20, does that include Broadway's sweetheart, Sutton Foster?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 27, 2015 1:53 AM |
I've always liked Debi Mazar. I'd love to see her in a series other than her cooking show but this was just okay. Hilary Duff is the weak link.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 27, 2015 2:02 AM |
R23 - It fits.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 27, 2015 3:05 AM |
Premiere now on TVLand!

Hillary's new hair is atrocious.

I recorde it to see Nico Tortorella (who I this is hot) and I expected to FF a lot to only check him out.
But the show surprised me and I liked it enough to not FF at all.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 1, 2015 8:51 PM |
I found this show quite charming so far. I have seen the first two. Reminds me of early Ugly Betty.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 8, 2015 8:47 PM |
The relentless commercials for this Darren Starr suckass show have driven me nuts for months already. I hope it gets canceled. Looks geared toward room temp IQ fraus who'll watch anything.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 8, 2015 9:55 PM |
Nico T. is sex on a stick. I watch it for him and Miriam Shor as the cunty boss.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 8, 2015 10:08 PM |
Is that a Gummer girl in the first scene?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 8, 2015 10:12 PM |
Amen, r31. I thought it might be cute despite Hilary Duff, but the endless and relentless commercials made me hate it. No problem. Apparently, rating are disappointing.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 8, 2015 10:14 PM |
There's NOTHING "charming" about this shitty show. I have a very high tolerance for bad TV, but this is just not compelling in any way.
Debi is the only good thing about it. Give her her own TV Land show.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 8, 2015 10:23 PM |
I've always liked Debi Mazar a lot. She's our modern day Nita Talbot. An indelible presence but I feel hard-pressed when it comes naming any of her roles.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 8, 2015 10:36 PM |
Mazar is great and more interesting than Sutton. Sutton needs to stay on the stage and people need to stop trying to make her happen on TV.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 8, 2015 10:41 PM |
I liked Sutton in "Bunheads." I don't think she's horrible for TV..just needs the right vehicle.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 8, 2015 10:45 PM |
I think Foster is adorable. Like a latter day MTM
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 8, 2015 11:01 PM |
OP, you need to be tested for ADHD. Or you need remedial math.
The first line of the trailer is "When I was 26" and a few words later, "15 years later.
26 plus 15 is not 26. It's 41.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 8, 2015 11:13 PM |
R40 - "The first line of the trailer is "When I was 26" and a few words later, "15 years later.
26 plus 15 is not 26."
Yes it is.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 8, 2015 11:33 PM |
I call bullshit on production people on a tv show hating a cast member so much that they want the show to end. That means they'd be out of a job, with no guarantee of another. And 4-5 people dedicated to making her happy? Maybe people on the show don't like Hilary Duff, but this item is hilariously overblown.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 9, 2015 4:49 PM |
An episode of Younger was sneakily attached to my 4/8 recording of Hot in Cleveland. I thought that was sort of a pathetic move on TV Land's part.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 9, 2015 6:12 PM |
The OP clearly means that Sutton is supposed to be passing for 26, which isn't believable.
Anyway, I've been watching the show and am enjoying it so far. Supposedly people connected with the show have said it improves a lot over the course of the season too.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 9, 2015 6:33 PM |
Yes, that's what OP clearly meant.
What we clearly meant is that she 's not supposed to be passing for 26. She's supposed to be playing a woman who was 26 about 15 years ago.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 9, 2015 6:42 PM |
Everyone in the show believes she is 26, which means she's passing for 26 for some characters on the show.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 9, 2015 7:24 PM |
Sutton could be semi believable as 26.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 9, 2015 7:46 PM |
R13, Riley Weston's real name is Kimberlee Seaman. LOL!
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 9, 2015 7:51 PM |
She could pass for maybe early 30s when she's in her younger get-up, but no way is a guy who's 26, who regularly fucks women in their 20s, going to be fooled by her 40-something body.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | April 10, 2015 12:53 AM |
She is?
