Non-famous actors who guest on TV shows who you find sexy
by Anonymous | reply 187 | June 1, 2021 5:58 PM |
ok I will start. I assume some of these will be non-traditional but I find the Irish guy in cahoots with the abortionist nun on "The Knick" to be very hot. Big redheaded bear.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 15, 2014 1:24 PM |
Miguel Gomez. He will one day be huge but for now, just character actor. Louie and now the strain. His voice, his mannerism, his charisma. He's the top of my list.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 15, 2014 1:26 PM |
great idea for thread. I am always crushing on guys you see for a scene or two. My taste runs to the daddy type and I also like the guy in r1's post but don't know his name.
If I see someone I like, I create an alert to let me know when a show they will be on will air.
We should do links to imdb as many are not recognizable names

Brian J. Smith. He actually had a starring role in Stargate Universe, but it was cancelled, so Smith has been in successful Broadway plays and was nominated for a Tony. I'd like him to become really successful.

your taste, your opinion r10. You do understand other guys have different taste in men?
Besides, I like off-beat guys and when you see them in a show it could be the voice, the eyes, or the acting that makes them attractive.
I liked the guy who played Hank Azaria's brother on "Huff" the long cancelled HBO series. He had an extended nude scene that I still remember, though not his name.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 15, 2014 2:29 PM |

Brian J Smith can now be considered a star after his Tony nomination and brilliant performance in TGM. Has the gentleman caller ever been more wonderfully played?

Yes, thanks r13, Andy Comeau. He had a scene in which he was naked for like 3 minutes walking around..very hot

Peter Porte, he guested on a few shows where he usually ends up taking his shirt off. He is gorgeous.

Gary Cole and Brian Smith hardly count as "non-famous."
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 15, 2014 3:36 PM |
My favorite not-yet-famous but hot-hot-hot actor is Nathan Darrow, who played Meechum, driver/bodyguard/SS agent to Kevin Spacey's Frank in HOUSE OF CARDS.

David Starzyk-I first noticed him when he played a professor on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and I know he's guest starred for long arcs on some shows, but he's hardly a household name.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 15, 2014 4:28 PM |
I usually look the name of the hot actor after I've seen him as a guest, then his pics, but later forget his name. He played the delivery guy in SATC.

R24 - YES. My bf and I have been watching the Veronica Mars series on DVD and he is in a few episodes in season 2. The second he was shown on screen, I said "I like HIM."
He is hot, and his nice big bulge can be seen a few times in these Veronica Mars episodes.

relax r40 you will live longer and take a class in reading between the lines. Obviously r38 is talking about a memorable cock struggling with fabric sighting... why mention otherwise.

Will Arnett was once on Parks and Recreation opposite former wife, Amy Poehler. Other than that he does straight to DVD comedy movies, SNL guesting and Funny Or Die skits. Does that count? He's hot, in the way that seemingly confident, brashly funny, but secretly skittish and insecure men are.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | September 22, 2014 6:36 PM |
love Will Arnett, r55 but between arrested development and being married to Poehler, I think he would be considered famous.

Jack Huston was good in American Hustle. Does Kirk Acevedo count, OP? He was on Oz and had a small role on The Walking Dead last season. He's in his 40s now but hasn't aged much since Oz. I also saw him in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but he's hardly famous.

Mel Jackson - A scrumptious hunk of caramel that shows up on the occasional (mostly Black) B-Movie or sitcom.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 4, 2014 10:18 PM |
Adam Lazarre-White - Gorgeous milk chocolate stud who first caught my eye in the early 90's when he played a villain on Young & The Restless. Since then I've caught him in the occasional bit on movies & TV. Most recently on an episode of Scandal. I have no idea why his career never advanced. IMO he should have been the go-to actor when a Black Hunk was needed in the 1990's & early 2000's.

Cieràn, who plays the King Beyond the Wall in GoT. I think it's his hot Belfast accent, but also something about his manner and looks. He even eclipsed Jon Snow for me when they shared scenes.

r79, this is r75. I worked in casting up until the late 90's in New York, so most of my experiences are with NY based actors.
Kirk Acevedo, really low key, cool down to earth. straight, likes to talk about running as I recall. He is taller than he looks on screen but not as sexy in person as he is on screen. Has had several series if you include pilots or orders that didn't go past the initial one.
I met Kay Lenz, through a friend in LA [not through casting] couldn't be a sweeter. Really nice lady. Told me she has trouble getting auditions, claims nobody knows who she is anymore but I think she is fantastic.
Did someone mention Jesse Martin? We knew about him from the first NYTW production of rent in which his beautiful skin and very clearly defined assets were unknown to television producers. He was always a nice guy but became a little distant as his success grew.
James Riordan, really fine actor whom I knew because he was heading toward booking a good role in a very good pilot that got picked up and was successful. His agent at the time [this was going back to the 90's] was an infamous coke driven maniac who insisted on a ridiculous amount of money and as a result Riordan lost the role he was sure to have gotten. This agent was soon after fired by his west coast bosses for drug related shit.
Peter Coyote, He is the coolest guy, VERY political I think he actually lives in Woodstock or nearby. He does lots of voice work but it a very interesting actor. His tape almost got him a role that ultimately went to Liam Neeson who was not that big of a star at the time.
Susan Dey, don't ask.
Annette Benning, really interesting woman. I think [as did my boss] that she was majorly fudging her age. Dropped her regional theater director husband as soon as she started making traction in film but I really liked her, she always remembered EVERYONE's name, from the receptionist up. Her dad was some kind of motivational trainer and it showed the way she dealt with people. Have no idea what she is like now, I heard still nice.
I will stop now. I know get a blog..if you want to know about specific people maybe I can answer.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | October 6, 2014 2:27 PM |

r104, lots of these guys are just damn good actors who do television to pay the bills. They aren't in LA trying to Brad Pitt.
In NY there the "New York Actor thing" which is an actor who primarily does stage and selected television as well as the soaps to make a living its all about being a working actor, not a star.

I have actually met some of these gentlemen. I worked in production on several shows. On set production as a PA and then subsequently in the business operations end.
Journeyman actors, the ones who move from show to show in NYC are primarily stage actors and as a result are pretty cool [for the most part] Some are kind of bitter or weirdly insecure but most are extremely cool.
I worked on a pilot DL Fave Roland Emmerich directed that was at the time untitled but has since been renamed "Dark Horse"
It was a total mess and Roland was driving the crew absolutely crazy. In the cast were several of the guys mentioned in this thread including Linus Roach, Damien Young and James Riordan all of whom were extremely cool and down to earth. So was Martin Landau who was in it and the lead was hot as hell, Max Theroit.

enjoying this thread. I have encountered quite a few of the people mentioned in this thread and can add some tidbits.
Briefly, my connection with the business is through casting, talent management and now a producer. Don't want to give too many details about my trajectory but for what its worth.....
[quote]Did someone mention Jesse Martin? We knew about him from the first NYTW production of rent in which his beautiful skin and very clearly defined assets were unknown to television producers. He was always a nice guy but became a little distant as his success grew.
Jesse has a massive beautiful cock. I don't know if that has been mentioned but I have seen it and it is spectacular. Not in a sexual situation, unfortunately, but he has a tad of the exhibitionist in him.
[quote]since you worked with him or were around him: Is Roland Emerich hot in person? He has a kind of hot daddy vibe.
Roland is very professional but tends to drive crews crazy because he asks for the world and changes his mind every 10 seconds. Nice guy though not a creepy vibe about him, unlike Murphy who is a bit creepy.
[quote]James Riordan, really fine actor whom I knew because he was heading toward booking a good role in a very good pilot that got picked up and was successful. His agent at the time [this was going back to the 90's] was an infamous coke driven maniac who insisted on a ridiculous amount of money and as a result Riordan lost the role he was sure to have gotten. This agent was soon after fired by his west coast bosses for drug related shit.
OMG, lets be clear the agent you are talking about has last name that rhymes with TRUSS and was described in "YOU WILL NEVER EAT LUNCH IN THIS TOWN AGAIN" as a "repulsive faced fatso" Which pretty much summed up my impression of him. The agency he worked for [rhymes with HERSH] did in fact fire him. He was a nightmare to negotiate with.
The pilot you are talking about that they wanted James Riordan for I think must have been WINGS I was at NBC at the time and vaguely remember the story. Everyone was doing coke at that time but jesus, the joke around town was if you can't get ahold of your dealer just go and stand in middle of the Rhymes with HERSH NY office and breathe in.
John Slattery [also remarkably well hung from what I hear] was very unhappy during the Mad Men pilot. Christina Hendriks and Elizabeth Moss were both advised NOT to do the show by their representation, the thinking being period pieces rarely work and nobody would watch it.

I find guys like this very hot. Attractive and hot but in a "real world" kind of way. I saw Brad Pitt on the street in Tribeca once and he was smaller and not as pretty as I expected. I prefer to fantasize about guys I might have a shot at anyway.
The NY actors [the types on Law & Order etc.] are better actors and make a better fantasy than the Tammys and Brads of the world.
by Anonymous | reply 150 | April 13, 2015 12:53 PM |
Wow r149, I am almost sure we know each other, although I don't know who you are exactly. We were at NBC at the same time I believe. I also worked for some heavy hitters at various studios. I suspect we have met

You can say it: GERSH NY wasn't the only druggy office in the 80s but it was the most flamboyant. They had such great actors on their list but I think Guc's drug use led to some really bad decisions.
In addition to the story above, Annette Benning almost lost Valmont because Guc was demanding 250 for her and she hadn't even done a movie. He nearly screamed her out of her movie career.

great thread
r149 you seem to me to be one of the few real "insiders" who post on this site, so I am not challenging what you are saying but what possible "non sexual situation" could you be in that you had the opportunity to see Jesse Martin and John Slattery's cock.
Extra points for description, cut, uncut thick?
by Anonymous | reply 152 | May 21, 2015 7:21 PM |
Don't think Jesse L. Martin and John Slattery qualify as "non famous" but since we are already discussing them, I would be interested in the cockage details as well.

250,000??? for her very first movie? So you have to assume she got at least half that for a few months work.
That seems pretty good to me. and this was what 25 years ago?

[quote] nnette Benning, really interesting woman. I think [as did my boss] that she was majorly fudging her age. Dropped her regional theater director husband as soon as she started making traction in film [quote]
what an interesting thread. Annette Bening is 4-5 years older than her given age which is the generally accepted range of fudging for actresses. . The theater director she was married to was named Steven White. I think they were already separated when Beatty came into the picture. If you care to do the leg work you can find out her actual age via public records but who cares. Annette is good people and a very good actress.

Interestingly enough this same agent that bungled a big deal for James Riordan (it wasn't WINGS btw) almost did the exact same thing to Bening on VALMONT. He very nearly lost her the role with his demands. She ended up getting between 100,000 and 150,000 for it which was paltry considering the size of the role at that time but she was completely unknown to the general public and brought no box office. He was demanding something ridiculous and they were starting to put together a deal for another actress. I was told Annette got wind of this via another agent in the office and ordered them to take the deal. Can't confirm that part but it sounds true.

My PBS station has been showing an older Brit TV series called Red Cap about UK military police in Germany. It's from 2003-2004 and it had an episode with a gorgeous ginger, Richard Dillane. Not sure you can tell from the linked Demo Reel posted at IMDB but just 10 years ago he was sexy as hell on that episode and he has a very sexy voice. Dillane is on a lot of TV like Wolf Hall and some films like Argo and The Dark Knight.
Shame we all get old.

Always had a thing for Holt McCallany and am always happy when he turns up on my screen.
Also think Max Martini is hot to death. He's done CSI:Miami, Criminal Minds, and co-starred with Dennis Haysbert in The Unit. He also played the Navy Seal team leader in that Tom Hanks film about the Somali pirates.

r158, you seem to be "in the know" Can you explain to a civilian knowing nothing about the business how an actor can lose a role because of his/her agents behavior? Don't the agents have to tell the actors about each offer like in real estate or does it work differently. Why don't the employers alert an actor whose agent is asking too much?
How common is it that agents lose jobs for actors because of demands or other issues.
Anyone who knows, please explain.

I think you might be right about Bening see link for 10 year comparison on plastic surgery site. Still, even if she is 5-7 years older than her given age, she looks much better than most women in their early 60's
The link claims she had a very subtle facelift. Looks good though, not creepy

Charles Mesure is really quite remarkable looking;I find him extremely sexy and appealing...and I don't typically find my self drawn to British men.
I concede, however, he DOES need facial hair to optimize his attractiveness.

What an idiotic comment. You dumb cunt, it has already "happened" for them as they are working actors. Many are stage actors making an xtra bit of cash doing television.
