Movies never released on DVD
Great list from BuzzFeed with some titles I've never even heard of - the Hollywood series is all on YouTube though and sounds fantastic.
Top of my wish list that they don't mention is Ken Russell's The Devils... Oh and Looking For Mr Goodbar
There is a weird span of 80s-90s stuff that seems to be disappearing though, since it came out on VHS and that's it.
What else?

"The Last of Sheila" is on Warner DVD, has been for years. WITH commentary from Dyan Cannon and Raquel Welch (in separate rooms, ha).
What was the big indie hit that Danny Huston starred in years ago that folks predicted an Oscar nom that didn't happen? Nowhere on DVD or anywhere else that I have seen.

"Fatso" is very hard to find on DVD, and it goes for $80 or more on Amazon when you do find it! For such a popular, and enduring cult movie which people seem to love, you'd think it would be easily available. It wasn't even on VHS for many years. Odd.

The Devils and The Go-Between have never been released in the US. And of course, Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

I was going to list "Fedora" by Billy Wilder and when I went to seek out a trailer, I saw that it is finally coming out in October. It's a guilty pleasure.

"Looking for Mr. Goodbar" is a puzzler especially since Paramount keeps releasing old flicks like 'Harry Kellerman", etc. (*odd in itself as the DVD market is drying up). "Goodbar" came out on VHS I remember when THAT market was drying up too.
Would be an ideal candidate for a Criterion Collection title. A true classic and, oddly, not dated save for the obvious disco stuff.

Sorry to disappoint you, R10, but that trailer was for a cinema reissue in 2013. No plans for a DVD release of Fedora anytime soon.

Cineaste Lou Lumenick, who is also one of the film critics for the NY Post, has devoted THREE columns in recent weeks to films not on DVD - a total of about THREE HUNDRED titles he has found are not available:

R12) If you enjoy it also, it's coming out this fall and Amazon has it on pre-order. I also liked the score to this film. As a person who likes soundtracks, I wish more of these would be reissued as well. "The Reincarnation of Peter Proud" is a favourite. On that note, I read somewhere that a reason "Looking for Mr Goodbar" is not available is the music rights.

Valentino was released on DVD in the UK in 2008. It was Region 2 and is now unavailable. I have it, there's a ton of nudity in it including full frontals of Nureyev.

R31 The music rights have to be renegotiated every time a film comes out on a different platform. Like VHS, DVD etc. Paramount would have to get permission and pay all the artists who's music was in the film again. There might be some reluctance on the part of one or more artists to have their music included in the film. Hence why it has never been released on disc. I recorded on comcast on demand a few years ago on VHS. But hopefully it will get a blu ray soon if paramount can come to terms and get the rights again to all the music.

R11 I would love to have a LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR on DVD in the right widescreen ratio. I wonder if the problem is getting the rights to all the great disco era songs that were used in the film? Even though the songs were on the old VHS tape, it's a whole new ball game when it comes to music rights for a digital release.
