by Anonymousreply 13July 19, 2014 10:42 PM

R8, Grumpy Cat is a dwarf, that's why she's small and has a permanent pissed-off expression.

by Anonymousreply 14July 20, 2014 4:46 PM

OMG R14, that is so cute!! A "little person" kitty. AWWWWW :)

by Anonymousreply 15July 20, 2014 4:52 PM

RIP Colonel Meow!

by Anonymousreply 16July 20, 2014 5:56 PM

I heard you can get AIDS from a cat. I know Africans get if from having sex with apes and monkeys.

by Anonymousreply 17July 20, 2014 7:13 PM

To my vindication and dedication, I hereby make a motion to stop pollution.

by Anonymousreply 18July 20, 2014 7:28 PM

What happened to Colonel Meow? He lived only 3 years.

by Anonymousreply 19July 20, 2014 7:38 PM

I love grumpy hiding in the flower arrangement

by Anonymousreply 20July 20, 2014 7:42 PM

It's cute and all, but let's be honest here. That money could be much better spent at population control, which lowers the overall number of shelter/rescue cats.

by Anonymousreply 21July 20, 2014 9:21 PM

Bump

by Anonymousreply 22July 21, 2014 1:23 AM

Nom nom nom

by Anonymousreply 23July 21, 2014 2:43 PM

Not necessarily, r21.

I worked at an animal shelter, and any reduction in expenses was welcome.

We were always thrilled when large food donations came in, it meant more money for the medical fund.

by Anonymousreply 24July 23, 2014 10:29 PM

So, by your reasoning/experience, R24...

When shelters get big food donations, they can put more money towards free neutering/spaying (like R21 suggests)?

I watched it a few times - well, left the tab open and the video playing (on mute). I hope that counts.

by Anonymousreply 25July 23, 2014 10:32 PM

But meanwhile, r21, there are millions of cats in shelters who STILL need to eat.

by Anonymousreply 26July 23, 2014 10:41 PM

Feed the kitties and what have you got

FAT CATS

by Anonymousreply 27March 18, 2020 2:41 PM

I tried to watch it but was informed that this video is private.

by Anonymousreply 28March 18, 2020 2:55 PM

That's because this thread is SIX YEARS OLD

I wish DL would show the date that a thread was started, instead of the date the last post was made. Then I wouldn't start reading a thread from 2014 unless I really wanted to.
