The scene in which Oberyn tells Tyrion how they met for the first time was so beautifully acted by both of them but Pascal brought something to the scene that few actors know how to do. He LISTENED as well as spoke his lines. The look on his face when he knows he's being bullshitted or when he realizes that the people he has hated for so long are not just cut-out villains but much more complex, and in Tyrion's case, even deserve his sympathy is so subtle yet we can almost read his thoughts. He really is impressive.

There's a rumor that he's dating Sarah Paulson. And there's GoT fans who think he's also involved with Lena Headey.

It's always a bit of a shock to hear Pascal speak out of character because he speaks completely with an American accent in real life (he is Chilean by birth but was raised in the US). He always comes across as a genuinely nice guy--he was a big GoT fan before this season and was stunned when he got the role of Oberyn and could play a major role in it.
