Suits

I'm late to the party on this TV show....gorgeous co-stars. Anyone else a fan?

It's a fun show. Deliberately homoerotic.

I never imagined I could find a woman truly sexy, but Donna (Sarah Rafferty) almost melts the screen.

For your viewing pleasure ..

I am watching this now.

Year One was the best, but now that they're getting deep into "relationship drama," the show looks totally over-produced. (We need more female viewers!!)

Moving Mike out was a contrived storyline, and getting him back will be even more so. (See: "Graceland") Once he goes to jail it might get more interesting.

I think the guy who plays Mike is adorable, but he looks like a little boy next to "Rachel." She is a woman and he is a kid. They just don't match up. I could see Harvey giving her a good fuck, though. Frankly, I'd rather see Harvey and Mike fuck, though Mike would look like his twink.

Did you miss season three, OP? Harvey and Mike already had an affair, lots of graphic sex scenes for a cable show actually.

Thsi is a stylish AND fun show that doesn't take itself too seriously yet isn't camp. Definitely goes down easy.

Louis Litt is my favorite. He's a great villian because you sympathize with him and root for him all the time. There is no one you root for more than pathetic, brilliant, all too human Louis Litt. I hope he and his new blonde asst have an affair. Fingers crossed.

Donna is a revelation. IRL she's a Yale trained actress (they only admit 4 each year.) So truly brilliant. Wish they gave her more to do than just be an ever present, ever precient person. The affair she had last season was NOT worthy of her.

I agree so much, R7.

Gabriel Macht needs to get those moles on his face removed

by Anonymousreply 9June 22, 2014 9:09 PM

Am I the only queen who watches it for the men's wardrobe? Gabriel Macht is a dream in Tom Ford and Patrick J. Adams is adorable in his skinny suits. And whoever dresses Gina Torres is a genius.

Who makes Pat's suits, r10? Is it Gucci? Prada?

I just binged watched this on Amazon Prime last week and enjoyed it a lot. I hate that I'll have to wait for the new season.

It's Burberry, R11. Great interview with the show's costume designer at link

Just watched the second episode of SATC, Gabriel Macht plays Barkley, an artist who only sleeps with models and videotapes the acts. He looks so young in it, even though he was already 27!

You want vintage Gabriel Macht, see A Love Song for Bobby Long. Basically a 3 character drama with Macht, Travolta, and ScarJo. Yeah, I can't stand the last two either, but the movie is really good. Go figure.

by Anonymousreply 15September 18, 2014 5:40 PM

Has Gabriel Macht ever played gay?

by Anonymousreply 16September 18, 2014 9:05 PM

Great show. Very underappreciated. The casting of even the supporting and guest roles are always perfect.

by Anonymousreply 17September 19, 2014 2:34 PM

I love this show however,I find the fake NYC background very distracting.

by Anonymousreply 18September 19, 2014 2:37 PM

The premise is unbelievable.

Why would a top NYC law firm risk their reputation and the possibility of being sued for malpractice by hiring an unqualified street grifter, no matter how good he is?

[SPOILER]

At a stretch, one could believe that Harvey would entertain something like this, because he's a maverick who secretly wants to screw the system, yada yada yada. But Jessica going along with it? No way.

by Anonymousreply 19September 19, 2014 2:43 PM

There's now a Korean remake.
