by Anonymous | reply 113 | November 7, 2019 8:00 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 5, 2014 6:30 PM |
No!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 5, 2014 7:34 PM |
I used to always get her and Janet Jones mixed up.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 5, 2014 8:11 PM |
You must really have very little to think about because this is not NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 5, 2014 8:20 PM |
Not only is it news R4 - it is ****BREAKING**** news.
I'm disappointed in you OP.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 5, 2014 8:24 PM |
What's the point of divorcing now? He must be going through a mid-life crisis.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 5, 2014 8:30 PM |
He's a tiny man.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 5, 2014 9:39 PM |
R6 Just like Kevin Costner, whose professional and private lives have been a mess ever since.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 5, 2014 10:58 PM |
Richard Marx... one of my wank favorites when I was a teen. He was so pretty.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 5, 2014 11:03 PM |
Which one is Richard and which one is Cynthia? They're both handsome ladies.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 5, 2014 11:06 PM |
His jeans were so tight! What a little twink. Wonder how he's looking these days
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 5, 2014 11:07 PM |
They are nobodies. Next.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 5, 2014 11:26 PM |
Guess he won't be right there waiting for her.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 6, 2014 1:30 AM |
The 80s had such ugly clothes
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 6, 2014 1:32 AM |
[quote] Guess he won't be right there waiting for her.
She needed some Room to Move.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 6, 2014 1:36 AM |
Who?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 6, 2014 1:37 AM |
those jeans tho
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 6, 2014 1:38 AM |
This is exciting!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 6, 2014 1:39 AM |
Apparently, their wedding vows don't mean nothin'.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 6, 2014 1:43 AM |
Was she in Dirty Dancing?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 6, 2014 1:44 AM |
Yes it is, Casey.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 6, 2014 1:45 AM |
Richard and Cynthia today, with the third party named as the reason for their divorce:
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 6, 2014 1:51 AM |
He looks creepy - like a Thunderbird.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 6, 2014 2:01 AM |
If only they could have held on to the nights...held on to the memories.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 6, 2014 2:06 AM |
Richard and Cynthia set up Brook Shields with Andre Agassi
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 6, 2014 2:10 AM |
And Cynthia's goin' on a manhunt! (I know--she didn't sing it, but she danced to it!)
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 6, 2014 3:00 AM |
Now and forever, he won't be her man
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 6, 2014 3:07 AM |
He Should've Known Better than to fall in love with her.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 6, 2014 3:08 AM |
[quote]Was she in Dirty Dancing?
Yes.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 6, 2014 3:09 AM |
Cyn is 7 years older than Richard. They first met when Richard was working on the soundtrack for STAYING ALIVE, a film in which she starred in. At the time, she thought he was much too young for her. Two years later, they were reacquainted at a party, and after a 4 year courtship, they married in '89.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 6, 2014 3:12 AM |
I hope she didn't have to find out the hard way...
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 6, 2014 3:24 AM |
Clutch the pearls!!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 6, 2014 3:33 AM |
He pings in that Katie Couric interview. He's like a younger Barry Manilow. Maybe it's all the plastic surgery. Any rumors?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 6, 2014 3:46 AM |
Cynthia is aborting Richard, Baby! I hope it ends well.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 6, 2014 3:49 AM |
always best to dump the menopausals and get a younger woman
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 6, 2014 3:52 AM |
Shocking! Thanks for posting, I like to keep up with the latest celebrity news.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 6, 2014 5:29 AM |
Time was all they had until the day they said goodbye!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 6, 2014 6:03 AM |
It's like a wormhole back to 7th grade! I'll Hold Onto the Nights I spent watching Cynthia say, "Go back to your playpen ... Baby."
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 6, 2014 6:10 AM |
I forgot what a great body Cynthia Rhodes had, or still has.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 6, 2014 6:27 AM |
Cyn's a rare triple thread (singer, dancer, actress).
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 6, 2014 7:21 AM |
I always thought she could do better.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 6, 2014 7:58 AM |
You bitches are slipping, they separated last summer. I bet her eating disorder spun into overdrive.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 6, 2014 10:57 AM |
Yes (R42) Cynthia was a spectacular dancer, good actress and okay singer. She even survives "Stayin' Alive" with her dignity intact- no mean feat!
I would shell out full price if The Weisslers put her in Chicago as Roxie.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 6, 2014 11:32 AM |
Such a hussy!
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 6, 2014 8:34 PM |
If Richard has kept the same hairstyle all the years then he deserves to be divorced .
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 6, 2014 8:38 PM |
Maybe he'll write a few more songs now.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 6, 2014 8:41 PM |
Didn't know the two were married, so can't get terribly upset about them divorcing.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | April 6, 2014 8:54 PM |
WHO ARE THEY!!
by Anonymous | reply 50 | April 6, 2014 9:00 PM |
She probably initiated proceedings because he left her by the railroad.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | April 6, 2014 9:04 PM |
R50 she was an actress, he was a singer, they are has-beens
by Anonymous | reply 52 | April 6, 2014 9:05 PM |
I never noticed until I looked at that picture but Richard Marx is wall-eyed. (i'm sorry but I don't know the politically correct term for wall-eyed... Differently eyed?)
by Anonymous | reply 53 | April 6, 2014 9:07 PM |
I loved the running gag Cynthia's FLASHDANCE character had throughout the movie. "He'll call!"
by Anonymous | reply 54 | April 6, 2014 11:14 PM |
I used to stare in wonderment at his tight jeans on the cover of the REPEAT OFFENDER album
by Anonymous | reply 56 | April 6, 2014 11:17 PM |
She is still gorgeous, and I agree with the person who said that she was too good for him. I'm assuming that he was the one who cheated? He was so in love with her back in the day.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | April 6, 2014 11:24 PM |
I don't mean no harm. I wish him well but I LOVED me some Cynthia Rhodes and miss her so much. I thought she was a great singer, dancer, and actress. I hope she tries to get back into entertaining.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | April 6, 2014 11:43 PM |
He had AIDS and she didn't want to get it.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | April 8, 2014 3:50 PM |
Revolting, R59.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | April 8, 2014 8:50 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 61 | April 8, 2014 9:09 PM |
Dick Marx was the first artist to have his first seven singles hit the top 5 on the Hot 100, and he was the first male solo artist to have four singles from his debut hit the top 3 (Whitney was the first female).
by Anonymous | reply 62 | April 8, 2014 11:13 PM |
The best part of Runaway was watching Cynthia run in 3" heels in all the chase scenes.
Fierce!

by Anonymous | reply 64 | April 8, 2014 11:18 PM |
He really had some great late '80s-early '90s songs. Angelia, Satisfied, Endless Summer Nights, Hold on To The Nights, Should've Known Better, Don't Mean Nothing, Too Late To Say Goodbye, Right Here Waiting...ahh, the memories...
by Anonymous | reply 65 | April 8, 2014 11:21 PM |
I'm going to download Endless Summer Nights right now on iTunes!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 66 | April 8, 2014 11:24 PM |
Yes!!!!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 67 | April 8, 2014 11:25 PM |
Richard and Dave Koz separated at birth.
Anyway, I'm in the music industry. Richard was my very first celeb interview. He couldn't have been nicer. I've interviewed Dave too. Nice guy and still a friend of mine.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | April 9, 2014 12:01 AM |
R68, what about the members of Kiss? Any one ping to you?
by Anonymous | reply 69 | April 9, 2014 12:04 AM |
r68, so you were around for MTV's heyday?
What was that like? I love to hear stories, if you'd like to share. Thanks.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | April 9, 2014 12:07 AM |
LOL at "secretary music" - so true. But I always thought he was hot as hell.
R68 - and I would totally do Dave Koz too. Both are gorgeous. I don't care if they're short.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | April 9, 2014 12:09 AM |
R69 no real Kiss gossip. I sat in on an interview with what's his name and his tongue really is that long. He showed it to all of us.
Another industry friend of mine has worked with Kiss for years.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | April 9, 2014 12:11 AM |
I didn't know that he had several hits. I only knew Right Here Waiting and Hazard.
I loved Hazard. I though it was so mysterious! I mean he said he left her by the railroad... what (duh, duh, DUHHH!) happened?
by Anonymous | reply 73 | April 9, 2014 12:11 AM |
Dave Koz is family. I wonder if Richard has ever dipped?
by Anonymous | reply 74 | April 9, 2014 12:15 AM |
R68, any gossip on The Cult?
by Anonymous | reply 75 | April 9, 2014 12:20 AM |
r74, he always struck me as someone like Daryl Hall, genuinely bisexual with long term female relationships.
r72, I feel sorry for your friend. Simmons is a paranoid, money-obsessed control freak. Stanley is closeted, and the rest of them are on and off drugs.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | April 9, 2014 12:21 AM |
R75 never met the Cult. Great band though.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | April 9, 2014 12:24 AM |
[quote]he always struck me as someone like Daryl Hall, genuinely bisexual with long term female relationships.
Darryl Hall is bi? I always knew he and Oates had a thing going on! Any stories?
by Anonymous | reply 78 | April 9, 2014 12:25 AM |
R74 Dave is family. But very quiet about his dating life. And I've known him for years. Very thoughtful guy. Always in a good mood.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | April 9, 2014 12:27 AM |
r78 a couple of credible hook up stories about him were told here on the late, great gossip threads we used to have before the site was linked with Google search. One in NYC, and one in London, IIRC.
I've heard other rumours over the years, but nothing about being closeted. He was always portrayed as bi.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | April 9, 2014 12:30 AM |
He left her by the river! He left her safe and sound! He swears!
by Anonymous | reply 81 | April 9, 2014 12:54 AM |
BIG HAIR and tight jeans, that's Richard Marx. I saw him live once, and was amused at how much he curses during the talking portions between songs.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | April 9, 2014 12:56 AM |
R68, what about the rumors about Bono and his wife having open relationship? Sting and his wife? any truth to it?
by Anonymous | reply 83 | April 9, 2014 12:59 AM |
I interviewed Darryl Hall about ten years ago. Prerecorded for radio, no video. Another cool guy. Anyway, he was being very candid and started railing against the Grammy clique's in the biz. Sting and Barbra Streisand especially. Then he paused, thought about what he was saying and turned to me and said, "Can we take that part out?" I said, "Sure."
He sat next to me and performed acoustically and was amazing. I liked him a lot.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | April 9, 2014 1:07 AM |
'Don't Mean Nothing' was a good song. The rest of his hits were sappy crap
by Anonymous | reply 85 | April 9, 2014 1:30 AM |
NOT! Listen to "Too Late to Say Goodbye" or "Satisfied" and bask in how wrong you are!!
by Anonymous | reply 86 | April 9, 2014 1:32 AM |
Yes! "Secretary music" is the perfect way to describe those bland vanilla pudding songs. Music to watch the clock by... elevator classics... meh music.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | April 9, 2014 2:14 AM |
You don't know shit, R87.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | April 10, 2014 3:10 AM |
Kurt Loder said the biggest asshole he ever interviewed was Richard Marx.
I just watched the music video "Angelia". I swear it looks like Harry Connick Jr. is in the video-plays a bit part in it.
Ever noticed how '80's music often had a sax solo in it?
by Anonymous | reply 89 | April 10, 2014 3:53 AM |
Wow, he's aged in less than two years. He was on Hallmarks' "Home & Family" and he looked really good. He said then that Cynthia gave up show business and wouldn't do any reunions for "Dirty Dancing" because it was her past life. She just wanted to be a wife and mother. Let's see if she tries a comeback
by Anonymous | reply 90 | April 10, 2014 3:56 AM |
[quote]Kurt Loder said the biggest asshole he ever interviewed was Richard Marx.
That's rich, coming from the biggest asshole who ever graced MTV.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | April 10, 2014 3:58 AM |
Mark Steines is such a good looking man and he is aging very nicely too.
I wonder why he hasn't done more acting in his career? Most of the roles he has done have been a "reporter" of some sort. He seems to have a nice sense of humor and is very personable, I bet he would be a nice addition to a sitcom.
Cynthia was a replacement for the original co-lead singer for a group called "Animotion." It didn't last long.
She looks just like Lisa Kudrow in that first pic of them.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | April 10, 2014 6:20 AM |
R83, both couples have open relationships. Both of the ladies enjoy women, as well.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | April 10, 2014 6:29 AM |
R92, are you not aware of his huge impediment? I'm sure most people here know why, know his limitation.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | April 10, 2014 6:41 AM |
I thought he was divorcing Leanza Cornett, r94, or are you talking about some other impediment?
Enlighten me.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | April 10, 2014 3:27 AM |
R95, what are you talking about? Is it something secretive?
by Anonymous | reply 96 | April 10, 2014 5:31 AM |
I've never heard of these people. Richard Marx maybe, but that was back in the olden days when I was young and uninterested in anything not attached to my dick.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | April 10, 2014 5:52 AM |
Mark Steines has an ass as big as DL legend Anthony Recker's. Watch him on HOME & FAMILY and witness its voluptuous beauty.
As for Richard, I never got asshole vibes from him.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | April 10, 2014 8:48 PM |
Richard wrote that N'SYNC ballad "This I Promise You," which is one of their big hits. He's written a lot of songs for various artists.
I particularly love this track he co-wrote with David Foster for the ST. ELMO'S FIRE soundtrack called "If I Turn You Away"...
by Anonymous | reply 100 | April 10, 2014 9:36 PM |
Steins has an ass as Anthony Recker, R98?
by Anonymous | reply 101 | April 11, 2014 9:18 PM |
r100, I loved that N Sync song, loved when JC's voice would break at the romantic part.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | April 11, 2014 10:26 PM |
[quote]Steins has an ass as Anthony Recker
Yes. The thing is HUGE.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | April 11, 2014 11:01 PM |
R83 I met Sting backstage at one of his shows. He autographed my ticket stub. But I've never interviewed him.
I've seen Bono, as well.
But I don't know anything about either man's personal lives.
Sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | April 12, 2014 6:01 PM |
He was at a recent White House Correspondents' Dinner with Rick Springfield.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | May 4, 2014 6:43 PM |
LOL! I know that I have better taste in music than you, r88.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | May 5, 2014 10:46 AM |
He posted this pic on his FB page recently and, although he's straight, I totally got "boyfriend" vibes from it. It would be cool if he was exploring the other side, now that he's divorced and the kids are grown.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | January 24, 2015 11:02 PM |
By "other side", do you mean incest, r107? Because that's his son.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | January 24, 2015 11:16 PM |
Richard, is that you??
by Anonymous | reply 109 | January 24, 2015 11:17 PM |
Richard Marx has the AIDS you know.
by Anonymous | reply 110 | May 22, 2016 8:58 PM |
I've seen him in person at the gym and at a coffee shop and he looks sickly to me. It actually seems like body dysmorphia because he gets on the cardio equipment and goes to town - seems like anorexia.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | May 5, 2017 6:03 PM |
r111
He even smiles with a lisp
by Anonymous | reply 112 | November 7, 2019 6:17 AM |
Wow he looks so sickly. Hope the poor guy is ok.
