David is far better than George Stephanopoulos, who despite media training still comes across as stiff and distant on camera. George sits on Good Morning America with his arms folded in front of his chest, looking very closed off.

Frankly, I don't know why they've left George on Good Morning America as long as they have. George has always been the weak link on that show, something that was extremely evident while Robin Roberts was on medical leave.

George does an excellent job as the Washington expert, is extremely credible. But lacking that accessibility to the viewer, would make him a bad choice to be the evening anchor.

George is their because of his connections with the DNC and the Clintons. ABC figures this will be to their advatage when Hill runs again. George forgives her for calling him "that little queen" when Bill was in office.

I can always tell when he anchors by the fluff pieces they do at the end of the broadcasrt. They always look like they were chosen by a queen.

I wonder if Dan Harris feels any resentment about David Muir? If so, I can't really say I'd blame him. It's just this new celebrity profile feature is just so indicative of how Muir himself got where he is for the most superficial of reasons (his looks, his hair) and not because of anything he's done resembling serious journalism (while serious journalists like Alex Marquardt are out in the field doing real reporting for far less reward).
