Have you ever felt fondness for another poster on DL?
I felt a lot of fondness for the poster who posted on the thread: how long can you last without social contact, who said he intends to be one of those little old men who die in their beds alone. I feel for you; keep hanging on, mate, you'll make it through.
I've always had a fondness for Paul (authenticated).
Javey was just misunderstood.
ayb, but not really anyone else.
Oh course, all the time, only a misanthrope wouldn't.
I'm including anonymous people though, just from individual posts. And they don't have to be personal stories, just people who seem intelligent and nice. As far authenticates, well Mia comes to mind.
Della and Wund Gurl.
Wund is love. Della is a fun broad.
I like Paddy over on the DL Facebook page, but he never signs his posts over here (that I have seen).
Will, the guy who has Boomer the rescue dog. He pops on Facebook a few times a year. Boomer is looking happy and healthy!
Crazy mint always got me hot and sweaty
I want to motorboat Cheryl's pussy.
I adore goop
R10 on the "How many more years do you think Datalounge has?" thread.
YOU, OP, you! Damn you. I know you don't care about me, but I shall always cherish what could have been.
The guy who bought Clare the bread pudding. He was a good sport.
della and crazymint
In a perfect world, I'd get to marry VotN.
Tax Troll and 2012 Poll Troll for their generosity
Leopold, for writing some of the most thoughtful responses
Every so often, I will tell a poster I like him. Today it was a guy who defended those who criticized the moron who dressed as a Boston Terrorist Victim for Halloween.
More often, it's posters I don't like who stick in my memory. I've been troll-darring one today.
I have a fondness for TaxTrollEA...talk about a genuinely kind and helpful person. Even though most of his advice these days is for married people (which doesn't apply to me), I've been able to save money/stay out of trouble as a result of his tax-related tips.
I have a fondness for a lot of people who post anonymously...usually when they post something that I can relate to (for instance, recently a closeted Army officer posted...which I could relate to as a semi-closeted Air Force officer).
On the other end of the spectrum, there have been posters that I've absolutely reviled...but fortunately many of them have stopped posting as frequently (e.g., kirker, charlie, VOTN).

I agree. They have much to offer & have been a big help. I guess what I feel for them is more appreciation than fondness, but I'm glad they're here & hope they stay.
Cheryl and Peg.
The Poll Troll kept me on the edge of my seat and I love his/her analysis.
I feel for the ones who seem easily upset, I can just imagine how their real lives go.
Don't we all love Ciaran? I hear he's hot, too.
No, r28. We all do not.
Learn about differences.
I have a soft spot for fight attendant Lou the Stew. There also used to be a regular poster here who posted some very dead on weather geek stuff just prior to the hurricane Katrina mess. Sometimes you can just tell when posters are the real deal and I'd put money on both of those two.
No. You're all evil cunts and yet I can't quit you.
Kirker of course. Weht him?
I miss Charlie!
And I like Lou the Srew.
And weht to SWF on verge of a breakdown ...
There was also the former criminal prosecutor --
Crazy mint. I want to bang him like a screen door in a hurricane.
The Elias Koteas troll has moments of startling insight.
I love, love, love Wundy Gurl.
I sorta kinda occasionally miss VOTN.
But the posters I loathe outnumber the ones I don't mind. The one who can't go five words in any post without using the words cunt, cuntbag, cuntress...ugh.
PS I did marvel at the batshittery of the poster who used to fill fast food threads with SHILLY MCFRAUCUNT!
misshelenbedd. I loved the way she made certain people's heads explode - - then sizzle afterward.
My adorable Gisele from Amazing Race and Walking Dead threads.
and most of those 'theater nuts' who post on the Broadway threads. In particular, I like the OP with his funny intros.
