QUESTION: Is The Era Of The Modern Gay Mecca Over?

Queerty readers had a lot to say about our first person op-ed written by one half of a couple who packed up their bags and moved from New York City to Michigan. With marriage equality and challenges to prohibitive marriage laws spreading throughout the United States at a rapid rate, and the fact that LGBT people are more accepted now than any other time in history, it begs the question: Is the era of the modern LGBT mecca over?
