Gay in Hollywood: An Oprah Winfrey Special!!!!! October 27th on OWN
Oprah interviews Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Wanda Sikes and Dan Bucatinsky about what it is like to be gay in Hollywood!!
O: So Wanda, my best friend Gayle and I were very curious about how you first realized you were a lesbian? Was there dirty touching?
Hello? Gays? Don't you watch OWN?
Jesse Tyler Ferguson would only be cast as gay anyway.
She couldn't get Matt Bomer or Neil Patrick Harris.
Or her good friend John Travolta, now he would be a guest worth talking to about that.
"They said terrible things about Gayle and I, terrible things."
I saw an ad for this.
Seriously, is she still pretending that she needs other people to explain gay life to her?
Only name I recognize is Wanda Sykes
[quote]Seriously, is she still pretending that she needs other people to explain gay life to her?
It's about being gay IN HOLLYWOOD. Maybe Colton Haynes and Justin Timberlake should tune in and get some encouragement to come out to the masses.
[quote] Maybe Colton Haynes
In the real world no one knows who Colton Haynes is.
r12 old people don't know who Colton Haynes. For good reason, they are old and Colton is young and hot.
Will Steadman be appearing?
Gee, I suppose Jake, Clooney, Spacey, Cruise, Travolta were all busy.
"Gee, I suppose Jake, Clooney, Spacey, Cruise, Travolta were all busy."
We're all straight! Like Oprah, we need others to explain to us what it's like to be a gay celebrity! We wouldn't know what that's like - we need your help, gays!
Jake, Clooney, Spacey, Cruise, and Travolta
she's so tiresome, still thinking it's the 80's and that this is a big shocking idea. meanwhile you know she touches herself 'down yonder in the fields, harpo' when she's watching iyanla and wondering what those loins taste like. she probably makes iyanla fedex her panties to her too.
"She couldn't get Matt Bomer or Neil Patrick Harris."
She already did an entire hour wrapped around NPH. And Bomer barely discusses his private life as it is.
I'm interested in hearing Wanda Sykes and what it's like to be a minority and out in Hollywood.
Another boring show where Oprah is the main issue, endless close ups, repeating same clips again and again, same questions asked with same close ups, Oprah confused, Oprah smiles, Oprah laughs, Oprah is liberal, Oprah is tolerant, Oprah Oprah Oprah... No thanks.
I wonder if she will interview the sofa that Miss Tammy Cruise famously jumped on?
R21 this is why I don't even watch her shitty channel. She ALWAYS finds a way to make it about herself.
When is her special on Humasexuals out in Hollywood?
R24 made me laugh out loud in a weirdly quiet coffee shop
r13, the ONLY place I see him mentioned is here, by a couple of delusional fantards. No one else has heard of him.
Bet y'all a beer she puts her hand on Wanda's thigh during the interview. High up. Inside.
R24 is cute!
If you're gay and not in the Hollywood machine, who cares? The topic of what it is to be gay in Hollywood is so ten minutes ago!
I guess the Brady's were unavailable for an Oprah segment on "Where Are They Now?" Pity. I might have been more interesting and pertinent.
[quote]And Bomer barely discusses his private life as it is.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
