Seeing the same movie trailers over and over in the theaters

Has anyone here ever been interested in seeing a movie based on one viewing of a trailer, and then changed your mind after seeing it over and over every time you go to the movies? I was interested in CAPTAIN PHILLIPS at first, but I've seen this damn trailer about 6-7 times, and changed my mind. I keep wondering if making people sit through 20 minutes of trailers before the feature doesn't hurt in the long run. And it's worse if the film is something you have NO interest in at all - If I see that trailer for the very twee ABOUT TIME once more....

We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
