Why? Is she to fucked up on drugs? Is the cast gang-banging her?
Who's going to play Sinead O'Connor?
My biggest problem with Miley is she looks so much better with long hair...
Oh look, Miley making a fool of herself. Once again.
And she looks & acts more like a butch lez every day.
Yes Miley will one day affirm her lady loving inner self.
She cain't sing.
Does she always sound very nasal when she sings?
It's not good when you can see SNL crew members during the skits.
She sounds even worse a cappella.
Use troll-dar and watch this thread turn high yellow.
Told you only 1 or 2 people watch this shit show.
That cheerleader alien sketch was terrible. Taran was, as usual, the best part.
R11 did I miss the moment when she sang a cappella?
Know what? She is much like the twerp Justin Bieber. I was struck by how awful she is at this and in her skits she acted just like Bieber acted.
Fuck off, r13. The person with three posts here posted at different times during the show. He or she is not talking to themselves. But I see that YOU showed up as predicted.
R13, it's Primetime. I'm sure lots of people want to post their comments, but can't.
R15, I meant acoustic not a capella which made her sound very weak.
SNL is DOA, Lorne/R18.
Most of the show was preempted in my area because of silly tornado warnings but I thought it was odd in one skit they didn't use the canned laughter on Miley like they did on the regulars...
I thought the We Can Stop parody was pretty funny. But like most SNL skits it ran too long.
I'm not a fan by any stretch, but I actually thought Miley held her own tonight.
Not the best ever guest, but certainly not the worst guest they've had on either. She was funnier that a number of the cast members - this is clearly a rebuilding year beyond the telling of it. Her performances were decent too for being live. I even liked the acoustic version of her songs.
Miley was a good performer, she knows how to do comedy. That's what makes her antics sadder.
I could not believe how unfunny some of the sketches were. That bizarre high school talk show segment was like something out of the dark 90s days.
On VH1 yesterday, I think, they did a "SNL in the 90s" show where they had interviews mixed with sketches. They also had snippets of the musical guests, one of which was the Black Eyed Peas.
Fergie can't sing for SHIT.
So there was nothing about Sinead AT ALL in the show. Way to completely blow it Lorne.
Sinead has already fired back AGAIN, saying it's not about Miley, it's about music being murdered!
Who was the guy in his underpants that pulled them up to show his nice ass? I liked his body and surprised no one commented on him.
"We Did Stop" was great. Taran is adorable.
Did they ever mention Sinead?
If you ever saw HM, you know that Miley has a flair for light comedy and can also be charming and very approachable, which gave her the huge tween audience that's now turned against her. She didn't hit the SNL hosting gig out of the park the way Britney did the first time, but it was certainly respectable.
"Told you only 1 or 2 people watch this shit show"
It gets better ratings than most primetime shows.

Hey, dipshit, a lot of people record SNL and watch it later.
Taran looks like he smells cookies.

Calm down, Lorne.
did they have Miley interact with that girl in the cast who imitates Miley?
Yes, R36, in the opening sketch.
This really is a transitional year for SNL. None of the new hires seem interesting at all. They seem like a bunch of hipster douchebags who've made a name for themselves with ironic anti-comedy. The only problem is, on a show like SNL, if you can't produce legitimate comedy, you sink.
If Fox (or another network) was smart, they would bring back Mad TV (or another sketch show) with an interesting, talented cast of people who aren't white male Brooklynites and one twee girl.
Is that the first time Bobby Moynihan went shirtless on the show? I would have thought he was hairier than he is, but maybe he shaves.
Taran has lost weight and looks much better than last year. He kind of let himself go for a while there.
I actually thought Taran looked better last year when he had body hair and few extra pounds on him, R39. Now he just looks kind of ordinary and anonymous.
Jay Pharoah makes a horrible Obama.
Agree with the Brooklyn-ites comment. The entire cast now seems like it's populated by members of the Upright Citizens Brigade. That's fine and they've gotten lots of talented people from there in the past, but the show also used to find talented stand-ups who didn't come from an improv background. They need to find a few more of those right now. Plus, how about finding another black woman already??
Lorne's reaction is kind of like a GOP stance. We are who we are and don't need any pesky minorities.
