"Once Upon A Time" Once Again, Take Three

The new season starts tonight... will it recover after the world's suckiest season finale last year?

Will "Neverland" save this show? Will the spin-off survive?

Will Henry be found and saved? Will Mr. Gold forever be evil?

Does anyone in here still watch or care?

by Anonymousreply 253May 21, 2018 4:50 PM

The Third Season begins in half an hour!

The "review" show is on now...

by Anonymousreply 1September 29, 2013 11:28 PM

On now! (east coast and central)

by Anonymousreply 2September 30, 2013 12:05 AM

God help us. I have to watch this crap because the BF likes it. Having to set through 3 hours of it tonight. I may end it all.

by Anonymousreply 3September 30, 2013 12:27 AM

When the show is good, it's pretty decent.

When it's bad, it's horrible.

by Anonymousreply 4September 30, 2013 12:30 AM

Thanks for staying on-topic, r3. This show is make-believe and so's you your boyfriend.

by Anonymousreply 5September 30, 2013 12:32 AM

Ugh. They're making Neverland like "Lost." The Lost Boys = The Others. Peter Pan = Benjamin Linus.

by Anonymousreply 6September 30, 2013 12:33 AM

Watching it now...

by Anonymousreply 7September 30, 2013 3:14 AM

Uh, then where are the dinasours and polar bars, R6? Huh?

by Anonymousreply 8September 30, 2013 3:17 AM

I guess Peter Pan's shadow is the "smoke monster"?

by Anonymousreply 9September 30, 2013 3:18 AM

Say what you want about the show but it has some fucking hot men.

by Anonymousreply 10September 30, 2013 3:21 AM

Possibly a stupid question: What was the doll that the Lost Boy dropped in front of Mr. Gold, that caused him to cry? I've seen every show, but apparently I've just forgotten something...

by Anonymousreply 11September 30, 2013 4:06 AM

Well, that episode sucked ass.

The women are nothing on the show anymore except, it seems, utter fucking morons. Emma will solve everything by jumping overboard! Excellent.

Regina can't poof her out of the water because she can't see her and would end up with only a leg or something. Well, she could see her after they surfaced, right? So, why exactly did they haul Emma and Charming out of the water with a rope?

And, uh, wasn't Regina all self-sacrificing and repentent about five minutes ago when she was going to sacrifice herself in the season finale? Where did that Regina go?

I'm already sick of the lost boys and Peter Pan's ears are distracting. It seems to have turned into the Charming/Neal/Henry show. If you would have asked who the three least liked and most annoyingly bad actors on the show are, they'd win.

This show has turned into the creators' Peter Pan syndrome, writ large.

by Anonymousreply 12September 30, 2013 5:37 AM

...anyone?

by Anonymousreply 13September 30, 2013 1:42 PM

This might be the last season, if they keep it up this way.

by Anonymousreply 14September 30, 2013 2:21 PM

I think the show recovered nicely last night.

They quickly got rid of a lot of dead weight and focused the main story to a rescue mission rather than the usual good vs. evil stories week after week.

by Anonymousreply 15September 30, 2013 3:09 PM

I read somewhere that this episode introduced Ariel, who I presume was the mermaid they pulled aboard the ship but I don't think she gave her name. Is she going to be another baddie?

(They should do an episode of Hook and Prince Charming wrestling for no apparent reason.)

by Anonymousreply 16October 1, 2013 1:41 AM

Lana on Regina and the dark and he light sides.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 17October 1, 2013 1:56 AM

I assume the doll thing had to do with Belle, but I don't remember...

by Anonymousreply 18October 1, 2013 2:18 AM

I really want Regina to fuck Charming.

by Anonymousreply 19October 1, 2013 2:23 AM

Regina (Lana) and Emma (JMo) have the most chemistry.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 20October 1, 2013 2:29 AM

They wisely killed off two of the more annoying characters from last year right away, so that was a good sign.

Mulan annoyed me last year, but for some reason I liked her in this episode.

I think their is some potential with their storyline, but they have one problem. The actor playing Henry has gone from cute kid to adolescent who cannot act. It does not help that he gets some really cringe-worthy dialogue and can be annoyingly self-righteous and judgmental.

by Anonymousreply 21October 1, 2013 2:30 AM

Lana has gained weight.

by Anonymousreply 22October 1, 2013 5:07 AM

What? We were watching Breaking Bad.

by Anonymousreply 23October 1, 2013 5:08 AM

The two they killed off were annoying, but why bring them on the show to kill them off so fast. I don't know if Greg is really dead as his shadow was stolen..plus he needs a redemption after what Regina did to his dad. I did want to see whatsherface Taze Rumpel..he annoys the crap out of me.

Pretty good epsiode..I think I will tire of Neverland. I just wish they had left everyone in Storybrooke with no magic. Would loved to have seen Regina and Maleficent in modern day clothes trying to screw over the annoying Snow and Charming.

Emma and Hook have chemistry as does she and Regina. Poor Snow and Charming are just so freakin dull. The Henry kid needs to be recast.

by Anonymousreply 24October 1, 2013 3:35 PM

I think the little doll belonged to Bae.

by Anonymousreply 25October 1, 2013 3:47 PM

Prince Charming got a new hair style during the voyage to Never Neverland, or so it would appear.

by Anonymousreply 26October 1, 2013 4:38 PM

Was that supposed to be Ariel EQ turned to wood? Please let them bring out Ursula if that is the case.

I was dissapointed with Rumple pulling the heart thing, that was really Regina's thing. He had more flair in killing (turning Gaston into a rose for Belle to clip). Hopefully not too much time is spent in neverland. I read they planned the season in two archs - this one which will end around christmas and the second one after the new year.

by Anonymousreply 27October 1, 2013 4:58 PM

No, that was just an anonymous stooge Mermaid, Ariel will turn up and in Storybrooke. Rumpie taught Regina how to pull out hearts. Speaking of Regina she has her snark back..."How you going to do it Snow, with unicorn and rainbow stickers?" Please no more crying from Regina, just more insults for the Charmings.

by Anonymousreply 28October 1, 2013 5:35 PM

Makes me wonder since Peter Pan is the big bad of Neverland and can even kill the dark one, where is tinkerbell in all this?

by Anonymousreply 29October 1, 2013 5:46 PM

The Peter Pan reveal was rather underwhelming.

by Anonymousreply 30October 1, 2013 6:19 PM

Ethan Embry dropped a ton of weight! Wow! Too bad he was killed so quickly...

by Anonymousreply 31October 2, 2013 2:05 AM

[bold]Once Upon A Time is back, and serving up hot lunacy in Neverland[/bold]

The premiere of Once Upon A Time made a big splash in the new world of Neverland. And it also did a lot of really stupid crap that makes no sense. Oh well — let's watch the daughter of fairy-tale characters do pull-ups!

First up, many apologies for being late on this. I fell into a technological hellhole, that I still haven't really hoisted myself out of yet. But I'm back! And more importantly all of our favorite zany fairytale characters, who like to walk around and state exactly what emotions they are feeling, are back as well. Welcome, half formed human characters and fairytale freaks!

The new season is all about BELIEVING. Because there can be miracles when you believe! Or at least lots and lots of dirty lost boys who like to deliver their lines with sloooooooow pauses and laborious sentences. God we missed this show.

Charming is the guy you marry and who you snuggle with at night. Hook is the guy you trick with who leaves you sore afterward.

by Anonymousreply 33October 2, 2013 3:56 AM
I really want Regina to fuck Charming.

You and me both, r19!

by Anonymousreply 34October 2, 2013 4:14 AM

The guy playing Robin Hood is another hottie. Maybe he can be the gay one.

by Anonymousreply 35October 2, 2013 4:47 AM

Reportedly, Robin Hood is going to be Regina's new true love. Blech.

by Anonymousreply 36October 2, 2013 6:22 AM

I'd rather Hook fuck Charming than Regina.

by Anonymousreply 37October 2, 2013 7:56 AM

I don't get how Regina and Gold still have full on Magic powers in Neverland. I would think the magic is tied to the land you are in. Like Neverland magic does not work in Enchanted Forest and vice versa..meh who knows.

by Anonymousreply 38October 4, 2013 1:15 PM

R38...the kept saying that magic doesn't work in our world like it does in theirs, yet, it always does. The writers are lazy and its easier for them to have Regina and Rumple get away with stuff with full on magic..so its kind of boring.Plus I don't think they are smart enough to differentiate magic and having rules for all the lands.

by Anonymousreply 39October 4, 2013 3:28 PM

They should make Hook bisexual. Or at least like Captain Jack Harkness from "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood" -- open to anything sexually.

by Anonymousreply 40October 4, 2013 6:08 PM

Well Hook is a pirate with a hook hand, me thinks a ship full of men and one hand would lead to some odd crew jobs :)

The show is getting bo-ring. Even the Evil Queen is too goody-goody to be interesting.

by Anonymousreply 43October 14, 2013 3:25 PM

For a show by former writers of Lost, this show now certainly doesn't let mysteries stay unanswered very long.

On Lost, the lion tattoo reveal would have been a few seasons not by the end of the episode.

by Anonymousreply 44October 14, 2013 4:18 PM

I missed the lion tattoo reveal apparently. I was so bored I walked away a few times. Who was it?

by Anonymousreply 45October 14, 2013 4:27 PM

Robin Hood

by Anonymousreply 46October 14, 2013 4:40 PM

I loved that they made Mulan a lesbian.

by Anonymousreply 47October 14, 2013 4:44 PM

If everyone claps their hands to show that they believe in Tinkerbell and she becomes a fairy again, I may just throw up. I did enjoy Tink's comment about Snow White though, something like "Snow White? What a stupid name. And mine happens to be Tinkerbell!"

by Anonymousreply 48October 14, 2013 5:54 PM

Me too, r47. I'm surprised they went there.

by Anonymousreply 49October 17, 2013 3:32 AM

Are there any gay people on this show,in front of or behind the camera?

by Anonymousreply 50October 17, 2013 5:01 AM

Well, the guy who played the Mad Hatter in a few episodes is gay in real life.

No gay males as far as characters go.

by Anonymousreply 51October 17, 2013 5:07 AM

"I loved that they made Mulan a lesbian."

Yeah. They made her a lesbian and then promptly made her part of Robin Hood's band of merry men. Wouldn't want her in the actual vicinity of any women, right?

I call cop out. Not only did they make the most masculine woman on the show the lesbian, they went for the two-fer and now they have minority and gay covered by one character...a part-time character at that.

by Anonymousreply 52October 17, 2013 5:10 AM

I thought they played it smart. They had Mulan say she was going to declare her love...but didn't say if it was Phillip or Aurora. Right after she says that we see Aurora's face and then Mulan says she is there to speak to her, not Phillip so we know who she is in love with. A cop out? Maybe, but it stops the "Family Values," nuts for going crazy while all the while we know, and the kids who watch the show know, what is going on. So these Family Values kids maybe will grow up and think, "Eh, whats the problem, its like Mulan and Aurora."

by Anonymousreply 53October 17, 2013 3:24 PM

Like Mulan and Aurora?

You mean, unrequited and unprofessed love with a woman who's pregnant with a man's baby?

And, you might want to look around the internet a bit..the family values crowd is having a shit fit about it and all the icky gayness infiltrating their family show.

by Anonymousreply 54October 18, 2013 5:22 AM

They really need to get over this neverland shit. If you watch the Wonderland one, they just had a fairy on as well - clapping to get her. How is it the fairies could travel between realms and not know of "human" world - Pan's shadow seemed to have no problem traveling to and from any land, earth, enchanted forrest, neverland. Same for the Rabbit. At a time when there was no magic in Storybrooke yet, the rabbit pops in to get naive.

by Anonymousreply 55October 18, 2013 1:12 PM

The actor playing Peter Pan looks like a real life version of the Disney cartoon Pan.

by Anonymousreply 56October 18, 2013 9:22 PM

I'm just glad we don't have to listen to or watch the actress who plays Granny or the one who plays Jiminy Cricket. Hope they stay in Never Neverland all season.

by Anonymousreply 57October 18, 2013 9:24 PM

The guy playing Peter Pan is a horrible actor. He makes even the guy playing Henry (who is horrible himself) look good.

by Anonymousreply 58October 18, 2013 9:29 PM

Are we in neverland all season? Thumbs down to wonderland.

by Anonymousreply 59October 18, 2013 9:38 PM

Marilyn Manson Heading to 'Once Upon a Time'

2:54 PM PDT 10/18/2013 by Philiana Ng

Once Upon a Time is going to the dark side.

Marilyn Manson will be joining ABC's fairy tale drama in the third season as a voice guest star, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

In the eighth episode, expected to air mid-November, Manson will make his Once Upon a Time debut voicing the character of The Shadow, who has already been seen this season. (The Shadow first appeared at the end of season two.)

"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson," creators/executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told Rolling Stone, who first broke the news, in a joint statement. "We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."

This season, the motley crew of Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Regina (Lana Parrilla), Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) have been thrust into the dark world of Neverland, with the mission to save Henry (Jared Gilmore) from the villainous Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) and the Lost Boys.

Season three has seen a slew of recurring players appear on the small screen, including Jamie Chung, Sean Maguire, Rose McIver, Julian Morris, Sarah Bolger and the upcoming appearance of Joanna Garcia.

The CAA-repped Manson appeared as himself on Showtime's Californication and starred in Sundance title Wrong Cops. His most recent album, Born Villain, was released in 2012.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

by Anonymousreply 60October 18, 2013 11:41 PM

Can someone please tell me which characters were killed off this season?

Thanks.

by Anonymousreply 61October 19, 2013 1:53 AM

Only Barbara Hershey as Nora seems to have been killed off and stayed dead. We were led to believe that the Jiminy Cricket guy and Baelfire were both killed, but Jiminy's only lasted an episode or two, and Baelfire is now revealed to be alive and on his way to Neverland.

The fact that Hershey has not showed up in the flashback scenes makes me wonder if she was upset about being killed off. Nora was one of the most interesting characters they had, and it's too bad they got rid of her.

by Anonymousreply 62October 19, 2013 2:03 AM

R62, the character's name was Cora, not Nora.

by Anonymousreply 63October 19, 2013 5:36 AM

Cora was the big kill last year, and I agree a waste. She should have been the super villain, they keep in a cage but she escapes when they need the ratings. But in addition to her minor characters like Lancelot (another waste) the guy Cora killed instead of Archie (that one no one seemed concerned that they buried instead of Archie) the guy on the docks Cora turned into a fish (so technically still alive) and Snow's old nanny, tossed out of the clock tower by Cora (God I loved that bitch.)

I actually think Neverland is not bad so far. Regina is back to being a sarcastic bitch who seems to just wait to insult Snow, Rump hasnt been on that much and we havent seen Belle much, and Capt Hook and Emma are starting a thing. We have Mulan in love and now Regina is going to get laid by Robin Hood so things are more interesting then last year.

by Anonymousreply 64October 19, 2013 7:44 PM

Are they going to be done with Pan soon, that kid is obnoxious.

by Anonymousreply 65October 21, 2013 3:49 AM

Hook and Emma hook up (hah hah) next week.

by Anonymousreply 66October 21, 2013 4:55 AM

Barbara Hershey's man is playing Jafar on OUAT in Wonderland..and Cora was the red Queen in Wonderland before the current Red Queen so I am sure they will bring Cora back for flashbacks on Wonderland.

by Anonymousreply 67October 21, 2013 12:59 PM

Cora was the Queen of Hearts, not the Red Queen.

by Anonymousreply 68October 22, 2013 4:51 AM

Meh. I'm not feeling this season as much. I hate Peter Pan (and the really bad actor that plays him) and it feels awfully claustrophobic, with such a small part of the cast involved now.

by Anonymousreply 69November 1, 2013 7:08 PM

The Ariel storyline looks interesting.

by Anonymousreply 70November 1, 2013 10:58 PM

I'm over Neverland.

by Anonymousreply 71November 1, 2013 11:05 PM

Do they ever show Hook without his shirt?

by Anonymousreply 72November 2, 2013 12:49 AM

This show is OVAH.

by Anonymousreply 73November 2, 2013 1:22 AM

Are they through with Tinkerbell? She was supposed to help with Henry's rescue but then she seemed to disappear. I wonder if Wendy will show up.

by Anonymousreply 74November 2, 2013 6:23 AM

Wendy was already in it - Bael stayed with them when he came through to regular world. It was there he discovered Pan and saved them from him, being taken to neverland but falling to freedom and getting picked up by Captain Hook.

by Anonymousreply 75November 5, 2013 4:19 PM

Thankfully, it looks like we'll be going back to Storybrook. The show has been so claustrophobic with just Neverland and a tiny core of characters week after week.

by Anonymousreply 76November 5, 2013 6:41 PM

When are they going to show Hook naked (at least shirtless)?

by Anonymousreply 77November 6, 2013 7:22 PM

I love this show, but hate this season. Neverland and evil Pan are jump-the-shark time - I worry that the show won't recover from the really bad way they've handled these first several episodes.

by Anonymousreply 78November 6, 2013 7:27 PM

So, lots of rumors that Goodwin is pregnant, and she and Dallas just got engaged. Now Snow announces she wants a baby? How much longer before we hear an announcement?

I don't mind Neverland, but I do mind the smug arrogance of the Charmings. Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 79November 7, 2013 12:26 AM

Both Ginny and Lana look heavier.

by Anonymousreply 80November 7, 2013 12:29 AM

Goodwin's ultra-short haircut on Sunday looked AWFUL. She looks like one of the Seven Dwarfs now with those eats sticking way out.

by Anonymousreply 81November 7, 2013 12:32 AM

Ears, too.

by Anonymousreply 82November 7, 2013 12:37 AM

Ginnifer Goodwin shares a serious scene with her fiance Josh Dallas on set of their show Once Upon a Time on Thursday (November 7) in Vancouver, Canada.

The day before, the couple was spotted on set again with their co-stars Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla, Jared Gilmore, Emilie de Ravin, and Colin O’Donoghue.

“I really desperately did not want to be part of the Ariel storyline because I figured it would involve getting wet. And it did,” Ginnifer recently joked with Access Hollywood. “But it ended up being one of my favorite episodes I’ve filmed, truly.”

Henry is becoming a hefty little boy, isn't he? And he really cannot act.

by Anonymousreply 84November 11, 2013 3:46 AM

Wasn't Jared one of the Bobby Drapers?

by Anonymousreply 85November 11, 2013 4:03 AM

Yes he was. Little shit ate my pudding cup so I had him killed. I mean, fired. I pretended I had him killed. In my imagination.

by Anonymousreply 86November 11, 2013 4:13 AM

R86 LOL

by Anonymousreply 87November 11, 2013 4:19 AM

Wendy's brother, the one with the glasses (John?), was kinda cute.

by Anonymousreply 88November 11, 2013 11:56 PM

Ariel is beautiful.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 89November 12, 2013 12:00 AM

I heard they're going to introduce a new character, Buzz Lightyear, during February sweeps (right after the cast escapes from the teacups.)

by Anonymousreply 90November 12, 2013 1:28 AM

I don't think so R90

by Anonymousreply 91November 12, 2013 2:05 AM

Wendy's brother was hot. I also think there is something hot about bad boy Pan. Maybe because he's so bad. He has huge ears. I checked, he's 18.

by Anonymousreply 92November 12, 2013 2:14 AM

Everyone on the show has huge ears,

by Anonymousreply 93November 12, 2013 2:51 AM

Ginny filming. Unfortunate outfit.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 94November 15, 2013 11:32 PM

Even so, R94, she's huge. Could it possibly just be the outfit? I don't think so.

by Anonymousreply 95November 16, 2013 12:41 AM

She's definitively gained.

by Anonymousreply 96November 16, 2013 12:46 AM

Okay, so... that reveal that Peter Man is Rumple's father MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE AT ALL.

Neverland was empty, except for the shadow. Pan's shadow. But pan didn't exist yet. WTF?

Talk about just making shit up as you go along.

by Anonymousreply 97November 18, 2013 5:13 AM

I totally didn't get the line about how the name "Peter Pan" somehow proves that Peter Pan thinks about his son that he abandoned. What am I missing?

by Anonymousreply 98November 18, 2013 5:16 AM

And the voice of the shadow was really bad.

by Anonymousreply 99November 18, 2013 5:20 AM

Peter Pan was the name little Rumple gave to that little stick doll.

The voice of the Shadow was Marilyn Manson.

by Anonymousreply 100November 18, 2013 5:24 AM

Not sure how I never caught that. I never really 'got' the significance of that little doll actually.

by Anonymousreply 101November 18, 2013 5:28 AM

I think they are just making it up as they go along.

by Anonymousreply 102November 18, 2013 5:47 AM

Who played adult Pan?

by Anonymousreply 103November 18, 2013 6:23 AM

Anyone else tired of this smug twink Pan and wish that part was over already.

by Anonymousreply 104November 18, 2013 6:37 AM

I'm not fond of the Neverland storyline but think the actor who plays Pan is one of the show's best, along with Regina and Rumple.

The Charmings can't act their way out of paper bags. Goodwin was good on Big Love. I'm not sure what her problem is here.

by Anonymousreply 105November 18, 2013 2:10 PM

Enough of this Neverland story line. Let's see Hook naked!

by Anonymousreply 106November 18, 2013 7:44 PM

The only thing that keeps me watching this crap-

Lana Parrilla.

Oh, and Hook's hairy chest.

by Anonymousreply 107November 18, 2013 7:59 PM

I loved Ginny in Big Love!

Lana and Jennifer are both good, especially Lana.

by Anonymousreply 108November 18, 2013 10:23 PM

How STUPID is Henry? Can we also include him on the Worst Child Actors thread?

by Anonymousreply 109November 18, 2013 10:27 PM

Why are Pete Pan eye's always red? Is he allergic to the island?

by Anonymousreply 110November 18, 2013 10:36 PM

Archie Panjabi knows viewers want more Kalinda on "The Good Wife," but she's enjoying the amount of screentime her co-stars have been getting with the big Lockhart/Gardner exit storyline.

"I think what's fun about it is just the reboot quality for the show and the last time we had a big storyline like that was when Kalinda was found out to have slept] with Peter, so it's really nice to see Christine Baranski have some really good storylines and really shine, and Matt have some time on screen because last year he didn't really have much" Panjabi told The Huffington Post

...phone interview. "It's really nice to see my colleagues have their moment. My character's had so much attention and it is quite refreshing to allow everybody to have their moment and have some really good scenes and I think they're doing such a great job with it."

by Anonymousreply 111November 18, 2013 10:46 PM

^^ and that has to do with OUAT how?

by Anonymousreply 112November 18, 2013 11:43 PM

Yes, R104

by Anonymousreply 113November 19, 2013 12:30 AM

The Charmings are awful actors, especially Prince Charming. Now that Hook is showing that someone can be pretty and masculine and charming and actually act...do we really need that boring block of wood?

Tho if the Charmings are gone I will miss Regina giving them the stink eye and rolling her eyes at everything they do and say.

I will not miss Neverland and the actors wandering around potted plants only to stop and talk, and the wander some more and stop and talk. To its credit Neverland still looks better then that piece of CGI crap Wonderland.

Henry is the most annoying kid character on TV since Carl on Walking Dead. At least they allowed Carl to grow up, Henry is acting like he is mentally challenged talking about saving magic..no wonder he doesnt have friends his age.

Yes Hooks hairy chest is something to behold!

by Anonymousreply 114November 19, 2013 5:52 PM

Charming(I forget his name)was replaced in the Thor sequel by that guy from Chuck.

by Anonymousreply 115November 19, 2013 9:33 PM

How old us Henry supposed to be?

by Anonymousreply 116November 20, 2013 3:23 AM

The weight gain and "Snow" talking about wanting another baby made it obvious, but Ginnifer Goodwin is indeed pregnant.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 117November 20, 2013 1:39 PM

Have to admit I did not see Pan being Rumple's father coming. Not sure I understand why he would kidnap and keep Wendy in a cage though. The shadow seems to be able to fly to the real world so why would it not be able to get Henry? It was not because there was no magic in Storybrooke, the rabbit got there just fine to get the Knave of Hearts (which was before the curse was broken). They do do reoccuring themes well though.

Pan abandoned Rumple, Rumple adandoned Neal, Neal abandoned Henry (although to be fair he didn't know she was pregnant.)

Snow gives up Emma, Emma gives up Henry..etc

The one problem is the evil queen. You want to redeem her but her back story, she has killed, thousands of people, murdered without a thought. Even Rumple seems less evil.

by Anonymousreply 118November 20, 2013 2:00 PM

But Rump doesn't have the style and way with a bitchy remark that Regina has..so she can be forgiven for all.

by Anonymousreply 119November 20, 2013 3:14 PM

Rumple probably killed more than Regina as he was the Evil One for centuries. He also trained Regina in black magic, so he bears some responsibilities for her bad deeds.

So it's official: The Charmings are preggers in real life. Ridiculous that they announced the engagement last month in an effort to get that news out there before the knocked up story. It's been so obvious all season that Goodwin is pregnant.

I wonder what Tom Hanks thinks? Goodwin was allegedly his mistress for several years.

by Anonymousreply 120November 20, 2013 3:43 PM

Always wondered which came first -- Josh Dallas' marriage breaking up or his involvement with Ginnifer Goodwin?

by Anonymousreply 121November 20, 2013 4:59 PM

I know which one they're eager for us to think, so I tend to think the opposite. Or at a minimum, they became involved while he was early in a separation.

by Anonymousreply 122November 20, 2013 5:13 PM

Goodwin and Hanks were together???

I hate Snow and Charming and wish they would fall into a portal or go back to the Enchanted Forest for good..see ya, we will catch up with you on the last episode. My hope is that somehow this annoying baby will be cursed and will come out a troll or something, so Regina can finally raise someone who loves her black, black heart.

What is up with the Henry actor..I can't understand a word he mumbles.

Where is lessie Mulan? When is Regina going to crawl on top of Robin Hood?

by Anonymousreply 123November 20, 2013 5:42 PM

r120 Hanks? Really? Boy she does go for the milktoast huh....

Rumple was not alive for centuries. It was shown he was still human during the war with the trolls and his wife left him for Hook before he became the dark one. Granted he did teach Regina her magic but she chose to become his pupil by taking the heart of his other pupil. Rumple never seems to kill, he seems to trap and trick.

What I don't get is why Rumple had to die to kill Pan?

by Anonymousreply 124November 20, 2013 5:45 PM

The Hanks rumor makes sense looking at her career.

One day she was a minor supporting actor on the TV show "Ed" and then she suddenly starts getting major leading roles.

Sleeping with Hanks probably opened a lot of doors for her.

by Anonymousreply 125November 20, 2013 6:41 PM

She thought Hanks would leave his wife for her. She waited for years - no dice. I wouldn't be surprised if the baby is really Hanks'.

This is a terrible show. Why are you all watching it?

by Anonymousreply 126November 20, 2013 7:10 PM

R117 - Thanks for the news. I was wondering.

by Anonymousreply 127November 20, 2013 10:59 PM

Ah its good crappy fun. Not as good as Season 1 when it had potential to be really interesting (I dont like the magic in our world crap, more fun to see them live like real people) but still goofy fun.

Barbara Hershey is joining the cast of "OUAT in Wonderland," reprising her role as the Queen of Hearts.

by Anonymousreply 130November 29, 2013 4:32 AM

I actually have liked the Neverland episodes much better than Season 2. That was a muddled mess. Too many characters. Too many flashbacks. This is cleaner. I do agree, however, the "walking between potted plants, stopping to talk, rinse and repeat" does get a bit boring.

by Anonymousreply 131November 30, 2013 4:37 AM

Yeah I thought Season 2 they were going somewhere with the intruders in town and it was kind of a cop out to turn it all into Neverland.

I think they redeemed themselves with Pan being Rumple's father so Henery's great grand father.

by Anonymousreply 132December 4, 2013 1:51 PM

The show continues to surprise me, so I like it.

by Anonymousreply 133December 4, 2013 8:49 PM

Seriously, R132? I completely rolled my eyes at that... does EVERYONE have to be related to EVERYONE on this fucking show? Jesus...

by Anonymousreply 134December 4, 2013 8:51 PM

I've gotten tired of pan and just want that part to be over with.

by Anonymousreply 135December 4, 2013 8:55 PM

I hated Neverland and Pan, but the payoff of Pan being Rumple's father was cool. But to have him go into Henry and still be around ... Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 136December 4, 2013 9:26 PM

R134 - Everybody being related explains a lot.

by Anonymousreply 137December 4, 2013 11:55 PM

Anyone find it funny that Michael and John were posing as a gay couple to adopt Henry when Regina was trying to back out?

by Anonymousreply 138December 5, 2013 4:33 AM

I've like the plot twists so far this season. Yeah Neverland is a little confining so I hop they get back soon.

Pan annoyed me at first but now he's growing on me. And the lil twink that plays him is growing on me too. He really was well cast.

by Anonymousreply 139December 5, 2013 5:05 AM

Not funny, R138. But I liked the choice.

by Anonymousreply 140December 5, 2013 5:24 AM

Bump

by Anonymousreply 141December 16, 2013 12:53 AM

Great episode, for once, tonight.

by Anonymousreply 142December 16, 2013 1:30 AM

If only killing off ol' Rotten Teeth would be permanent.

by Anonymousreply 143December 16, 2013 1:40 AM

That actually would have been a great series finale. One of the problems with network shows is that they never know when to step away from the table.

by Anonymousreply 144December 16, 2013 2:19 AM

Loved the last few minutes with Emma answering the door.

by Anonymousreply 145December 16, 2013 3:16 AM

I hope they get Hook a prosthetic hand once all this rigamarole is over. Also, how can Hook remember Storybrooke? Is it because he was original from the "real world"? Does that mean anyone who was outside of the Enchanted Realm when Regina's curse first took place can remember Storybrooke too?

by Anonymousreply 146December 16, 2013 3:37 AM

I liked this a lot. Now I'm pissed I have to wait until fucking March.

by Anonymousreply 147December 16, 2013 4:05 AM

R146 I assume that because Hook was not part of the original curse, his memory was not affected.

by Anonymousreply 148December 16, 2013 4:14 AM

Is there a thread for the spin off? I don't watch this one (never got around to it) but I watch Wonderland.

by Anonymousreply 149December 16, 2013 4:47 AM

I haven't been able to get into Wonderland, and it seemed for awhile that this one had jumped the shark, but the last few episodes have been really good.

by Anonymousreply 150December 16, 2013 4:54 AM

I think the only ones who won't remember Storybrooke will be Emma and Henry. For them, it never existed.

In the preview, we see Snow utter "We're back." That shows a level of self-awareness.

by Anonymousreply 151December 16, 2013 5:57 AM

I think that Regina deliberately wiped Emma and Henry's memories and lied about all of the other characters not being able to remember. Hook wasn't from the enchanted forest, so he should remember. Also, who the fuck was the green chick- the wicked witch of the west?

by Anonymousreply 152December 16, 2013 6:01 AM

I agree that OUAT should have ended last night, minus the last two minutes.

by Anonymousreply 153December 16, 2013 10:56 AM

It would have been too sad for this series ending, OUAT will end with everyone (including the villians) living happily ever after.

by Anonymousreply 154December 16, 2013 12:45 PM

Regina didn't say that the Storybrooke folk would lose their memories, I don't think. She just said that Emma and Henry would because Storybrooke would cease to exist.

by Anonymousreply 155December 16, 2013 8:03 PM

The fairytale people know who they are and remember storybooke. Regina changed it so Emma kept Henry rather than give him up..she saved everyone, gave up her son so he could have a life with Emma. If that did not remove the black from her heart nothing will. Looks like the Wicked Witch of the West is coming to Storybrooke in March though. I have a feeling with Rumple gone and the Evil Queen no longer Evil...the other baddies from other lands will be moving in. Possibly Jafar for a Wonderland/Enchanted Forrest cross over??

by Anonymousreply 156December 18, 2013 1:36 PM

I hope the second half of this season sees Regina and Snow work out their differences. I'd hate to see Regina isolated while the Charmings community cuddlefest continues.

I still can't stand Emma. I think it's Jennifer Morrison's scrunched-up face way of showing emotion. "But I'm the savior!" Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 157December 18, 2013 1:40 PM

Lara Parilla's Regina is the best thing about "Once Upon a Time." I don't want to see her get all goody-goody on us.

by Anonymousreply 158December 18, 2013 3:33 PM

I am not sure about Snow and Regina, if Goodwin is pregnant and Snow is pregnant, Regina might have some issues with Snow getting a baby and not her. I hope they follow up on Robin Hood being the love of Regina's life..Regina might have other problems anyway. If they are all back as they were, Malificent might be might pissed off, as well as a few other bad guys from fairy tales and as we saw the Wicked Witch is coming to the enchanted forrest.

by Anonymousreply 159December 18, 2013 3:36 PM

I'm with R144.

But here's the thing: The main reason I've stuck with this show is because it's so much fun watching Mr. Gold/Rumple.

If he's gone, what's the point?

This is the note it should have ended on.

While I appreciate this show's ability to keep re-inventing itself, at some point... it'll have gone on too long, and taken one step too far. I fear that time is coming sooner rather than later.

by Anonymousreply 160December 19, 2013 3:44 AM

Has Julian Morris been on lately?

by Anonymousreply 161December 19, 2013 6:18 AM

Can someone explain to me why Rumple "had" to die in order for Pan to die?? I didn't understand that scene - what did the dagger have to do with anything? Why couldn't he have just stabbed Pan without stabbing/killing himself?

Also Henry is the WORST - I laughed so much when he was trying to play evil during the body-switch.

by Anonymousreply 162December 19, 2013 6:30 AM

I can't help you there. It seemed like just some handwaving to me. "Magic". The rules for magic on this show are so arbitrary.

by Anonymousreply 163December 19, 2013 1:22 PM

Regina explained that the Pan's reinvention of the curse would make them all slaves so to save them all she would tweak it to take them back to the Enchanted Forest..and to "Where they were originally from" i.e. Whale would go back to Gothic Land, etc.(if they stayed put they wouldnt know who they were so I wonder with Pan dead, if they would all stumble around like a Walker?) Henry could not go as he is from our world. To keep him from being stranded Emma decided to stay as she is the savior and exempt, and Regina's gift to them was to make it seem as if Emma raised him all along and they were happy. She did this as they would not remember Storybrook as to the rest of the world, it would seem as if the town never existed. She didnt turn back time, so everyone who died is still dead. I like Regina as the sarcastic bitchy anti heroine not the villan.

by Anonymousreply 164December 19, 2013 3:32 PM

R157 R158 I really like the interplay between Lana and Jen.

by Anonymousreply 167December 31, 2013 12:39 AM

When Regina altered Pan's version of the curse, she had to make a sacrifice and that was leaving Henry. As she said, Storybrook doesn't belong in our world and neither do any of them, so to keep them all from being mindless drones for a dead Pan she had to send them back. The curse reversed itself so to speak so it wiped Storybrook off of the face of this world and everyone left in our world would longer remember it ever existing, including Emma and Henry. Regina had to fill in Emma's two year's in SB and Henry's entire life there so she tweaked their memories to make them have a happier past together (thus redeeming her in a nice way instead of the crying of last season. )

My question is, what about the Lost Boys who are from our world (Regina said everyone would go back from "Where they came," not just the Enchanted Forest. Is Hook from our world (in the past) and that is why he can come and go?

The Wicked Witch of the West is going to look good, and yes, I am such a dork I am excited about he back half of this season now.

by Anonymousreply 168January 3, 2014 3:41 PM

I doubt Rumple is dead, remember the curse of the dark one passes to the man who uses the blade to kill the dark one - so in essence he killed himself with the blade so his name will still be on it. Emma did not decide to stay, Regina decided to let her stay. She let Henry go with her and used her magic to re-write her history..the problem I see there is she only re-wrote it to where Emma gave up Henry. She still knows who Neil is so why would hook not bring Neil with him?

by Anonymousreply 169January 8, 2014 12:54 PM

Did anyone watch last night's episdode? We're getting a "Wicked" witch next week, complete with green skin.

Hook visited Emma and gave her a potion to drink so that she would remember being in Storybrooke.

by Anonymousreply 170March 10, 2014 1:44 PM

I really wish they would kill off Emma and give the extra screen time to Regina. And Christopher Gorham, wasn't that a waste of a role for him?

by Anonymousreply 171March 10, 2014 5:08 PM

Emma and Regina have fabulous chemistry. You can't kill off Emma.

by Anonymousreply 172March 10, 2014 10:02 PM

I wish they would kill off Emma and Snow, then have Hook and Charming hook up.

by Anonymousreply 173March 11, 2014 3:06 AM

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Emma's been fucking a Flying Monkey for eight months.

19 Reasons Hook Is The Best Part Of "Once Upon A Time"

by Anonymousreply 175March 12, 2014 12:55 PM

So I clearly missed something.

One moment, they're standing in front of the castle and its barrier.

The next minute Storybrook and all of them are back in our world.

WTF?

Did I nod off, or miss something going to the bathroom??

Or did they skip a WHOLE LOT without any explanation?

by Anonymousreply 176March 12, 2014 2:12 PM

A year had passed between the time the curse was reversed and when Hook showed up at Emma's place. The Wicked Witch (of the West, I presume) is probably responsible for putting everyone back into Storybrooke.

by Anonymousreply 177March 12, 2014 5:22 PM

The last few minutes made a huge leap in time.

Guess the rest of the season is explaining what happened during that time.

by Anonymousreply 178March 12, 2014 5:24 PM

The creators are huge lost fans (recognize the WW of the West as a lostie?) the rest of this season they will be back telling the "Missing Year" story

by Anonymousreply 179March 12, 2014 5:34 PM

Since when has ABC made it impossible to watch their tv shows online?

by Anonymousreply 180March 12, 2014 5:47 PM

They could have made things a LOT more clear. It wasn't clear at ALL what was going on, and when Emma just went off with Hook, and they found Storybrook and everyone there, that was just ... completely confusing.

So basically anyone could have come, not just Hook (why Hook?) as they were all there the entire time. But none of that was made clear at any point.

by Anonymousreply 181March 12, 2014 9:20 PM

Is there a place to watch it online besides ABC.com ?

by Anonymousreply 182March 15, 2014 2:36 AM

by Anonymousreply 183March 17, 2014 12:47 AM

If you're not a paying member a tv service, than you can't watch shows on ABC anymore.

by Anonymousreply 184March 17, 2014 1:20 AM

Did anyone NOT see the Evil Queen / Wicked Witch twist coming?

by Anonymousreply 185March 17, 2014 3:29 AM

At least we know Rumple is still alive!

by Anonymousreply 186March 17, 2014 1:50 PM

R186,could he possibly be Zelena's father since she is green?

by Anonymousreply 187March 17, 2014 5:50 PM

I don't know, R187. I was shocked that the WW is Regina's sister!

by Anonymousreply 188March 17, 2014 8:46 PM
If you're not a paying member a tv service, than you can't watch shows on ABC anymore.

You can't watch the most recent episode for the first week, but then it is available for free (at least on free Hulu). I could not watch the March 9th episode for free until March 17th. I am guessing ABC has the same thing, since I think how Hulu shows television shows is based on what the network permits.

by Anonymousreply 189March 18, 2014 12:37 PM

r187, that's a good possibility since they've set up the previous Rumple/Cora romance.

by Anonymousreply 190March 18, 2014 12:59 PM

How hot is Robin Hood? The show sure has done good looking guys on it.

by Anonymousreply 191March 18, 2014 1:21 PM

It would be interesting - because that would make the Wicked Witch Henry's Aunt.

but..Rumple was turned that color due to the darkone role, I am not sure how "genetic" it would be.

by Anonymousreply 192March 26, 2014 1:21 PM

It's possible that the dark magic that turned Rumple into The Dark One was transferred into Zelena when she was conceived and caused her greenness.

by Anonymousreply 193March 27, 2014 4:06 AM

This show is OVAH.

'Once Upon a Time in Wonderland' star Michael Socha joining 'Once Upon a Time' as series regular

By Sydney Bucksbaum | April 1, 2014 3:15 PM ET

Hot on the heels of the cancelation of "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," spinoff series star Michael Socha is heading to the original series "Once Upon a Time" as a series regular.

EW reports that if ABC renews the original series -- which is likely, but ABC has yet to make any 2014-15 renewal decisions -- then Socha's Knave of Hearts/Will Scarlet will head to Storybrooke next season.

This is great news, as Socha was the clear breakout star of the spinoff series and will add a twist of sarcastic and charming humor to the ABC fairytale drama. However, since "Once Upon a Time" has not been officially renewed yet, this is not a done deal.

What do you think of Socha's potential crossover? What other "Wonderland" favorites do you want to see head over to Storybrooke? Let us know in the comments below.

The "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" series finale airs Thursday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET and "Once Upon a Time" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Yay, a Hook heavy episode!

by Anonymousreply 197April 14, 2014 1:45 AM

Colin O'Donoghue is definitely the hottest guy on the show.

by Anonymousreply 198April 14, 2014 5:48 AM

Wish they would mix in some Pirates of the Carribean lore from the movies...we got blackbeard..

by Anonymousreply 199April 16, 2014 5:13 PM

Okay, so everyone is trying to keep Henry in the dark because he doesn't remember any of his history in Storybrook. So HOW do they explain all of the strange goings on or keep him away from them? Does Emma and the Charmings send him into the enchanted forest?

by Anonymousreply 200April 21, 2014 8:24 AM

Great Regina episode. She's the only reason to watch the show anymore.

by Anonymousreply 201April 21, 2014 8:54 PM

Do you even have a penis anymore, 201? Hook is the hottest guy on TV right now, and that is a good enough reason to watch.

by Anonymousreply 202April 21, 2014 9:10 PM

No comment about last nights finale?

by Anonymousreply 203May 12, 2014 2:28 PM

No One really>

What about Elsa making a visit!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 204May 12, 2014 11:41 PM

It does give the Evil Queen a chance to become evil again.

by Anonymousreply 205May 13, 2014 12:00 AM

I'm a sucker for Back To The Future storylines, so I loved the finale.

Guess I'm going to have to watch Frozen to help understand next season. Will it be worth that sacrifice?

by Anonymousreply 206May 13, 2014 1:17 AM

Decent enough season finale, bridging the present season and introducing elements for the next one. I still wish the show would pare some of the cast though, especially background characters who hardly ever add anything. One very good thing about the finale though -- twice as much Hook! "I'm back to being devilishly handsome."

by Anonymousreply 207May 16, 2014 12:26 PM

Love Hook's hairy chest.

by Anonymousreply 208May 16, 2014 2:04 PM

Hook is the worst part of the show. There's no chemistry between him and the lead actress.

by Anonymousreply 209May 16, 2014 2:45 PM

Because the lead actress is fucking awful.

by Anonymousreply 210May 16, 2014 5:22 PM

Bring back the evil Regina. If I want to see goody-goody I'd look at Snow White.

by Anonymousreply 211May 16, 2014 9:50 PM

210 Awful? What show did you watch? Morrison is one of the best actors from the cast, doesn't say much since the show isn't award worthy, but she's good. Surely better than Hook guy, though he's very hot.

by Anonymousreply 212July 24, 2014 3:20 AM

Is Morrison the lead?

So now Anna, from Frozen, taught Prince Charming how to fight??

😯

by Anonymousreply 217October 6, 2014 4:00 AM

Any gay working on this shit show? Gay camera man/lighting tech/editor?? Anything? I feel like we're missing on some serious gossip from that set.

Need someone to spill!!

by Anonymousreply 218October 6, 2014 7:38 AM

Must be a gay costumer because some of the men wear some seriously tight pants.

by Anonymousreply 219October 13, 2014 3:52 AM

Could be. Rumpel and Charming used to wear the tightest leather pants in the first seasons. They looked yummy. Hook does, too, although I am not a huge fan of his supposed "acting". But that Robin Hood guy is the worst of all! His face is just weird and he's all around awkward. Damn them for bringing in Michael Socha though. I had to check last ep because of him. But nope; the show still sucks ass and no amount of charming ass could save it for me.

by Anonymousreply 220October 16, 2014 10:56 AM

Starts up again tonight with a summary / review followed by a new episode. Cruella De Ville, Ursula (she's a villainess of color now!) and Maleficient come to Storybrooke.

by Anonymousreply 221March 1, 2015 11:46 PM

Ooooh! The demon guy that appears in Sorceror's Apprentice!

Cruella never had powers, though. 😕

by Anonymousreply 222March 2, 2015 1:35 AM

I still want Hook inside me.

by Anonymousreply 223March 2, 2015 2:44 AM

The Robin Hood guy is fugly tbqh.

by Anonymousreply 224March 7, 2015 3:43 AM

Hook is horrible.

by Anonymousreply 225March 7, 2015 4:20 AM

The Frozen subplot wound up being okay, but I hated it for several episodes. As for the new one, it looks dreadful.

by Anonymousreply 226March 7, 2015 4:45 AM
Cruella never had powers, though. 😕

Yeah, that seemed to come from out of nowhere. I guess the writers thought, "Well, if Ursula and Maleficient are magical, then Cruella has to have some kind of powers too". And what's with her strange accent?

by Anonymousreply 227March 7, 2015 5:56 AM

Did we actually see a spotted coat when they showed the rack of furs that was being repossessed?

It went by too fast for me to really see it.

Maybe she lost her powers when she came over to the "real" world?

by Anonymousreply 228March 7, 2015 6:09 AM

Lana Parrilla is putting on weight.

by Anonymousreply 229March 7, 2015 9:02 PM

Maleficient's big reveal. I'm not sure if it's interesting or a big WTF? moment.

by Anonymousreply 230March 9, 2015 6:15 PM

It seemed to me that Maleficent was holding a sort of baby's rattle toward the end of last night's episode.

If I remember correctly from a season passed, that same rattle was in the crib with baby Emma before she was sent away in the magical wardrobe/tree.

Did anyone else catch that?

by Anonymousreply 231March 9, 2015 6:42 PM

There's talk of rebooting the show after the current season and that Snow and Charming may leave at the end of the current season.

by Anonymousreply 232March 14, 2017 6:55 AM

Snow's character NEEDS to be written out. Maybe banished to the moon, because that's what her unattractive face resembles. If only Charming (Josh Dallas) could remain. -Sighhhh...

The show has reduced it's male characters to whiny wimps who need the clueless females to rescue them. The men are now the damsels in distress...whatev...

Regina, the Evil Queen and her "sister" the Wicked Witch are the most compelling characters on the show. Dump Swan's blonde bimbo ass too, with her parents, and reboot the show around the 2 sisters, Gold and dashing Prince Charming. Snow and Swan need to do their swan song...and go away already. I can't stand Jennifer Morrison, she acts too butch and speaks so fast and mumbling, I frequently have to rewind.

by Anonymousreply 233March 14, 2017 8:04 AM

Regina, Rumple, Zelena, and Hook are the best parts of the show. If we could just have a show about the 4 of them living together it would be great.
There's talk of rebooting the show after the current season and that Snow and Charming may leave at the end of the current season.

Oh I do so hope, R232. And take that worthless Henry and Swan with them. Henry may be the worst actor currently working on any series.

by Anonymousreply 235March 14, 2017 8:48 AM

Bullshit, r235. Henry's fine, and a whole lot better than those two loons on Modern Family. Actually, make that four, Jessie Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonesfat aren't so good either.

Hook will need a fuckbuddy, and the grasshopper's too old. Who gets to stick around to fuck Hook?

Robin? R237. Have he and Regina more fluid sexually...poor Walt would roll over.

Bring back gorgeous Jamie Chung as Mulan, and pair her with Red. Regina and Zelena are the main 2 favorites of mine. Charming was boring being pussy whipped by Snow. He and Hook hooking-up, would be a show stopper indeedy. Rumpel needs to "free his inner beast" as well. Mr. Hyde stole every scene he was in. He and Regina would be..interesting. They need some gays in fairyland. Rumpelstiltskin

Just watched the latest episode and I knew something's was up when the episode was so eager to show Hook being a changed man. He kiilled Prince Charming's bio dad back when Hook was still Hook! And that's what the Evil Queen was going for when she got the ball rolling by giving Prince Charming the coin.

Josh Charles looks better in an Oxford shirt than any human should.

I believe that Hook will be one of the characters to be a part of the possible reboot.

I meant Josh Dallas, of course. Q.E.D.

Josh Dallas is so boring

by Anonymousreply 243March 21, 2017 4:55 AM

Wouldn't it be hilarious if The Evil Queen finds her happy ending with Robin Hood 2.0 and Regina never does (because her soulmate, the original Robin Hood, is dead)?

by Anonymousreply 244March 21, 2017 6:20 AM

Okay, the scene with the magic arrow, directing the Evil Queen to person she hated the most -- who DIDN'T see the ending coming from a mile away? It seems like OUAT has two types of plots. The first are the ones which come from nowhere and completely ruins background and history. ("Hey, so-and-so actually has secret family they never knew about!", "No, that didn't actually happen the way you saw, THIS is what happened!"), The second are the ones which are so obvious and the resolutions so evident that it's "why bother, just get it over with by the end of the episode".

by Anonymousreply 245March 27, 2017 2:51 PM

Yeah, they're running on empty with plots these days, R245.

SPOILER ALERT

Jennifer Morrison (Emma Swan) is leaving "Once Upon a Time". With the main character gone, the show will have to drastically change, if it's going to survive.

by Anonymousreply 247May 9, 2017 8:21 PM

Aren't the Charmings leaving too?

by Anonymousreply 248May 9, 2017 8:24 PM

Is this still on the air?

by Anonymousreply 249May 9, 2017 8:35 PM

Bring back the Evil Queen! The goody-two-shoes Regina is boring!

by Anonymousreply 250May 9, 2017 8:39 PM

R248, yes I think Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin are leaving as well. Too bad josh is leaving along with his wife, with Jennifer Morrison going, the show could have have David being roommates with Killian.

No comments on the singing episode? I think it's fascinating how singing ability tracks with acting talent. Jennifer Morrison should be a mute.

by Anonymousreply 252May 11, 2017 9:28 AM

There were no comments about the last season of "Once Upon a Time." The plot was a hot mess but it was worth a thread or two.
