Displays casual racism.
Uses the term "politcally correct."
Demonizes the poor.
Writes stuff like this:
[quote]I'm a huge lefty liberal and fully believe in the effectiveness of the SNAP program, but I too thought it was supposed to supplement a family's food budget? Of course here in NYC, I see non-whites using their EBT cards at the deli for junk food, and I'm CERTAIN these same people ALL have cable tv and smartphones, and it's probably true they get Medicaid, so think of the savings on healthcare!
Sounds like a typical faggot to me
Their dicks taste just as much like shit as any other tops'.
They're into tearoom sex, teenage pages, hookers and meth, God and Country.
Some people buy deli prepared food because they don't have cooking facilities, some might no have utilities or even a home.
Whoever wrote that is FAR from a liberal.
They foot tap in airport restrooms.
They are incapable of critical thinking and believe mythology over science.
Wait, are we talking about someone who pretends to be liberal, but is really a Republican or a gay Republican pretending to be straight?
In both cases, by answer is: OBSESSED with gay marriage.
Also, the sky is blue, the Pope is Catholic, and Ke$ha is really bad. Over at Science Duck, they ran the numbers and found some very unsurprising results:
Methods: the number of sex scandals for politicians (both state/local and national) for the past 10 years was tallied from the list of political scandals provided on Wikipedia. Each scandal was scored as to if it involved a Republican or Democrat, if it involved a gay or straight affair, and whether or not the victim/participant was underage.
Results: Republicans were involved in 61% of sex scandals in the past 10 years, whereas Democrats were involved in just 39%. Moreover, 34% of the total number of scandals were gay scandals (i.e, involving an ostensibly straight politician and a same-sex partner), with Republicans accounting for 78.5% of all gay scandals. Republicans were also involved in 66% of the underage scandals.
Conclusion: If a sex scandal is going on in Washington, there is a 2 in 3 chance it will involve a Republican. And If it’s a gay scandal, it’s almost a sure bet that it involves a Republican.
Goooo Family Values Party!
That 78.5% number is just hilarious. The fact that they also beat the Democrats 2-to-1 in underage sex scandals just further confirms everything we know about the GOP. Of course, the dead-enders will wave their be-cheetoed claws in the air and cry “Liberal bias!”, but they do that all the time anyway.
Check this out, posted right here on DL on a thread about children living in poverty:
[quote]I'll just come out and say it: who cares about these worthless kids. Either they are the cretinous spawn of some slack jawed hilljacks, some south of the border scum, or one of LaTesha's 11 kids from 9 different guys. I wouldn't even favor Swift's proposal; these children should not be eaten by even a starving coyote, for their very existence has no justification. The sooner they shrivel up and die, the better.
People who say things like this about the poor: "Actually, many of us ARE better than these parasites."
op is onto something.
OP, I love that you're now obsessed with me, but none of what you assert is true. I would tell you if it were. My, you must feel triumphant, like The Infant of Prague!
Surprisingly, YOU yourself exhibit my least favorite Republican giveaway clue, which is, you seem to be able to read minds of people you don't know, and have never met! Two other Republican red flags- You are quite thin-skinned, taking everything personally, and your retribution is vicious and knows no bounds! A touch of Bill O'Reilly!
Your resistance to discussing a solution which is not your idea is troubling. You reject all which doesn't pass through your teeny "acceptable" keyhole. I know, it's fun to shriek, point fingers and name-call! Your ideas won't fix anything because their only purpose is to make YOU seem non-controversial, popular, and eager to tell everyone they're all perfect. Maybe you're too terrified to believe in anything? Whatever, it's all just puerile, and silly.
Have you ever tried creative problem solving in a group? It's very difficult and illuminating. It would seem this is far beyond your persnickety capabilities. Often, people like you get too offended when everybody doesn't agree with them. Calling people "judgmental" and leaving in a huff isn't really a solution, much as it might feel good.
[quote]op is onto something.
Onto his next pile of meth to smoke, from the sound of it!
Not that it matters but I am a fiscal R, I support food stamps/ EBT cards, just not buying guns & strippers with them like some of the newspapers say, I am not whom the OP is talking about. IMHO, people on FS/EBT can buy any type of food they want, I object to alcohol, strippers, and gambling on FS/EBT.
Just remember there are all kinds out there.
lol, nailed it, 3/4 DLers fit the profile!

Aren't you the "lefty liberal" the OP quoted? The one who seems to "read minds" of the "non-whites" you spy on in the grocery line?
How tone deaf are you, old man?
There was no "mind reading" in my original post. I was hardly "spying", but standing shoulder to shoulder with the people next to me buying a bunch of crap with their EBT card to hand their kids. I was appalled and felt it fed into destructive stereotypes against the SNAP program, and the people who use it. My vilifier has a flair for the dramatic, and at crafting his own agenda from my actual observation. He thought all of that was just dandy. I didn't.
How do observations of fact determine a political affiliation? I found acceptance of this sort of "logic" troubling. Don't you?
Yeah, what's up with Kie$ha? I feel like she has had the same single out for 5 years. Seriously, she keeps releasing the same song --maybe she realizes at this point that all of that radio dance shit sounds the same so why not save a few bucks and release same song every year or so.
And WHAT was she wearing at the IheartRadio show? Not everyone can pull of an 80's T-bar. And she is not on that list.
I swear when she did her "hit" montage in Vegas last night you couldn't tell when one song ended and the next one began.
I am starting to think that even I could get a record deal at this point.
Other than that you have a sloppy title/example to this thread so Kie$ha deserves her own thead -- where at least on DL she will be read about.
R20 is correct.
The pure hatred toward the poor some of you display here is sickening.

That describes anyone who believes the official story of 9/11.
"Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it ... You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!"
We are switching to the new platform for The DataLounge this weekend. All of our mobile users have been using it for over a week and all first time users have been using it for about a month - which adds up to well over one million users. So we're ready to end this phase of the testing and move everybody to the new site. (more)
And yes, we've changed the look and some of how it operates.
Yes, we know you just *hate* it in well in advance.
Yes, we know we suck.
Yes, we are the biggest suckers that ever sucked.
But it was time for a change and with the huge shift to mobile it was long overdue. We've taken this opportunity not only to update the look but also make major changes under the hood (or "bonnet" if you're either British or pretentious or both). And we have to prepare for 2016 - a presidential election year where we can normally expect to see a 60% jump in traffic (yes, we've seen 5 presidential elections so far…Christ we're old).
The site has a bunch - nay, plethora - of new features which will make the site more usable: better search, the ability to ignore posters and threads, see link previews, to pick up a thread where you left off, spam and malware filtering and more.
If you want you can go explore and see for yourself, Click here.
And while running the tests we've noticed two interesting reactions to the new system - people are spending more time on the site and more people that come stay around longer and look at more stuff. Both good things. Yay!
Possibly we've not slain all the dragons and there will be issues that come up during the switchover. There's a help button in the lower right hand corner of the page which you can use to send us bug reports.
Please include as much information about the hardware (PC, Mac, Tablet, Phone etc), operating system (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS etc) and browser (Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer etc) that you are using as possible to help us replicate and fix the problem.
Please note that complaints about colors, fonts, icons and the like are not "bugs" - they are design choices that we've made and we expect one or two cases of world-class bitching. But they won't actually cause headaches, scurvy, heart attacks, Restless Leg Syndrome, Morgellon's Disease or the vapors (but have your smelling salts at hand just in case).
Talking to DataLounge servers. Please wait a moment...
